How to Speak Life: Sharing Your Faith in 321

Rate this book
I want people to know Jesus—my family, my friends, my neighbours, everyone. But it’s tricky. When it comes to faith, the people in my life are in so many different places, I never know what to say, and all my efforts feel at best ‘hit and miss.’ Mainly miss!

This book is about refreshing our faith in the goodness and power of the gospel. I want us to experience afresh the wonder of Jesus, the love of God, the lostness of the world and the hope held out to every soul. I also want to share practical eight ‘seeds’ we can all ‘sow’ into conversations with friends and family.

This book is for everyday Christians in everyday life. Wherever you are, whoever you are, you too can speak life.

"Deep down, every one of us as followers of Christ want to be a spiritual influence on the people around us, but often we don’t know how. In this new book, Glen Scrivener makes it as simple as 3-2-1. With fresh insights and highly relevant stories and illustrations, he shows us everyday ways to have an eternal impact. Highly recommended!"

Mark Mittelberg, International speaker, and author of Contagious Faith and The Questions Christians Hope No One Will Ask (With Answers)

"Glen Scrivener has a way of speaking that is always fresh and positive. His newest book on evangelism is no exception. This book is refreshing, creative, inspiring and very practical. This is a must read!"

Rebecca Manley Pippert, International speaker, evangelist and author . Her recent book is Stay The World Has Changed Our Message Must Not.

"If you feel discouraged in evangelism or unsure how to get started, this book is for you! Instead of giving us a nifty elevator pitch for Jesus, Glen helps us see how we can sow seeds of the gospel in all kinds of conversations and relationships--and what to make of all the times our efforts seem to fail. I felt inspired and equipped by reading this short book."

Rebecca McLaughlin, author of Confronting 12 Hard Questions for the World's Largest Religion

"We all have friends we want to tell about Jesus. But how do we do this in a way that is loving and not clunky at the same time? Glen Scrivener’s How to Speak Life is the perfect tool. This book will give a fuller understanding of Jesus and natural ways to talk about Jesus. We will become better disciples and witnesses of Jesus because of this book."

Sam Chan, Head trainer and mentor, EvQ school of evangelism, City Bible Forum, author of How to Talk About Jesus (Without Becoming THAT Guy)

How to Speak Life is both simple and profound. It’s simple because anyone can follow the practical advice and learn to better share their faith. And yet it’s profound because Scrivener offers personal stories, insights, and biblical truths that come from a lifetime of experience. This is a wonderful resource for the church that deserves to be widely studied and applied.”

Concise, conversational practicality application tied to clear, careful theology.

Glen just so naturally weaves together the 'how' of evangelism into the 'what' and the 'why'. The result is this so very helpful and highly recommendable book.
Thanks Glen 👍
