Mi humilde opinión:

Romance con atracción instantánea, guitarrista rock star, mundos diferentes, proximidad forzada, embarazo sorpresa.

Ryker es el guitarrista de la exitosa banda de rock Raising Havoc y esta fuera de control. Después de que golpea a alguien tras un show contratan a Wren para ser su entrenadora de bienestar. Al principio él no la quiere en su casa y no quiere hablar sobre sus problemas de ira. Me pareció que era un adolescente haciendo un berrinche con cada sesión que ella quería hacer con él. Pero Wren lo aguanta todo y lentamente ella logra derribar sus defensas. Pronto las líneas se vuelven borrosas con cada momento juntos y aunque luchan por mantenerse profesionales no pueden resistir la atracción y terminan teniendo sexo. Sin embargo, no esperan también enamorarse intensamente.

La historia de amor de Ryker y Wren comenzó con tirantez y deseos reprimidos, una combustión lenta, momentos picantes, románticos, de drama que disfruté. Me gustó el manager de la banda como villano, la verdad no esperé que fuera a ser la amenaza para los dos y me encantó como se resolvió al final. Ryker pasó de parecerme un niño dando berrinches a un verdadero héroe defendiendo y haciendo lo que fuera por su amada.

Quedaron cosas en el aire, no se menciona si Ryker superó los episodios de ira o si arregló los problemas con sus padres. Me sorprendió que Ryker renuncie a la banda, después de despedir al manager del infierno esperé que continuara pero no, renuncia para irse a vivir con Wren a Arizona. Su sueño era la música, la banda era famosa, por qué renunciar? Si era talentoso porque no comenzar una carrera solista? O que me diga que se convirtió en un profesor de música. Al final él se quedó en casa con Wren y los niños, lo que esta bien porque en el epilogo sonaba como un gran papá pero y la música?

En general es una historia que se lee fácil y es entretenida, tiene los conflictos del mundo rockstar y un romance lindo con quemadura lenta, precioso epilogo a seis años después.

Ryker needs to go through anger management since he basically has no memory when his anger takes over his actions.

I had a hard time with the storyline and basically started skimming it.

Wren is assigned as his live in ‘therapist’ and her subsequent behavior with Ryker is so unprofessional and is cringe worthy. There are major ethical and professional issues with her personal involvement with Ryker no matter how many times Wren thinks how unprofessional she is acting. Later in the story she is called a wellness coach so just what was her training in?

And regarding Ryker’s issues, there were a few nuggets thrown in about Ryker’s relationship with his parents but nothing that fully delved into why he would have no memory of his actions when his anger took over. Oh, and Ryker’s big breakthrough is that he called his parents? So by the end of the story the reader is supposed to accept that Ryker has now resolved his anger issues?

This book was almost a DNF which is why I skimmed it. I just couldn’t suspend my disbelief.
This story was basically a miss for me.

Ryker is the lead guitarist in a famous band and when his anger and bad behavior gets him into trouble, he is told to take time off to see a therapist. Wren is a wellness coach/ therapist, and she is hired to help Ryker. Things don't start out well between them but soon she is able to get him to participate in some wellness activities. Its not long before their attraction sparks and they fight to stay professional. However, its not easy and they end up together. Ryker's manager learns of their being together and threatens Wren. Wren goes back to her parents heartbroken and doesn't think Ryker will reach out to her. Ryker isn't happy with how things went and brings everything to the bands attention. Will he get his woman back? What will happen with the band?

This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Evolving Vibes

An amazing story-line that grips the heart with Wren & Ryker. He is a famous rock star having a short fuse when fans don’t respect people’s space or even his own space. Wren is hired to help him keep his anger under control. When she doesn’t give up on him, he sees her in a new light. Wren is not like the others & he realizes that she doesn’t swoon over him or interested in his possessions/money. His attraction towards her, crosses the line of professionalism & risks her career. They try to fight their strong feelings without success.

This is a great story to see how their relationship on a professional level is transitioned into a loving relationship towards a HEA. I’m over-the-top happy to read about a couple who deserve the lifetime happiness & the kind of life that is rich for them in a different way. I would highly recommend this novel for your next read!

Ryker and Wren

He’s a big time rock star with anger issues and she’s the live-in therapist sent to help him. His anger issues just kind of disappeared - it was a dissatisfying major plot hole - she’s some magic that just heals him by being her… just wasn’t any real reasons behind him no longer having anger issues. And she does 2 hours of yoga every day… and more in the evening - who has that kind of time?!?

Hea - he comes back after his manager slammed a smear campaign all over her working reputation… and he asks for forgiveness - says he fixed it… but not explained. She tells him she’s pregnant - he is happy. Then he sings a love song to her and hea - 2 kids later boy/girl and another baby girl

OH my goodness this was sensational of a page turner and the suspense was Awesome. I loved it!!!! It was addicted and I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Ryker and Wren romance was sexual tension was like a rollercoaster ride that was on fire they chemistry was spicy hot. They couldn’t fight the temptation any longer in that moment of passion and the urge from that one night together will change their lives forever.

I'm not normally a fan of rockstar heroes but I liked this one a lot maybe because it didn't take place on the road. Stephie Rose crafts a story a story about people who struggle with life and decisions. Their past effects their daily lives and the sometimes not so smart things they decide to do. Ryker has some anger issues and Wren is hired to help him get them under control. Along the way they start falling for each other but are unsure they can overcome the problems. There is a 3rd act break up but it fit into the story beautifully and didn't feel like a gimmick. This book will go on my reread pile while I catch up on the rest of this authors works!

Ryker is a billionaire rockstar with serious anger issues. When his manager forces him to take a break and hires a wellness coach to help him out. Wren is determined to help Ryker deal with his anger issues. Neither of them are prepared for the connection they find together. This is a steamy, intriguing story that is easy to read. I really enjoyed it. I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Ryker is the lead guitarist in a band with his best friends. However, Ryker has really bad anger issues. So he winds up being told he has to go into therapy. So he heads home to his house in Arizona and when he gets there he finds Wren on his doorstep. He's so not happy about the whole thing. It doesn't take Wren long to put the puzzle pieces together that is Ryker's life.
Stephie has written a very good book. Very entertaining.

Ryker is a guitarist in a famous band, he has a problem he can’t control his anger,so the agent of the band send him to take a break and for therapy.
When he arrives at his Villa he saw a woman on his porch,a red head that she was very attractive.
Whenever she tried to start her work he left
He tried so many times to kiss her but she doesn’t want to jeopardize her work for a fling.

This book is fantastic,I loved the whole story.

Loved it !!!

This is the second book I'm reading from this author and I loved Ryker and Wren's story. This book was well written, fast paced and a very quick read. I couldn't put it down. ******Spoiler*****The story was believable, the only unbelievable part to me was Ryker giving up his role in his band. If they are as successful and popular as is led to believe, I can't see it. that was my only fault, otherwise loved it. Recommended

Wow, just wow! Wren and Ryker are nothing but amazing characters! He is the hothead rockstar, bad boy, and she is the life coach to tame him. They’re like oil and water at first but soon learn to respect each other. Ryker’s soft side comes out when his anger subsides. Their relationship has multiple twists and turns, but they find their way together. Can’t wait to find out what happens in the next segment of this series.

This is one of those rock romances where lines are being crossed and there always seems to be a despicable person in the wings messing things up even more. I loved the connection that Ryker and Wren had which made this book a big page turner for me.

A loving relationship

Wren was to be Ryker's wellness coach. When they first met there was an element of sizzle to their relationship. But very soon it developed into full blown love and they started working their relationship into a happily ever after.

This was a quick easy read. I really enjoyed Ryker and Wren. Their connection was quick but believable. I loved that Ryker was willing to try so much for Wren. I loved watching how Ryker worked to gain Wren's love and trust. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see how the band dealt with the sneaky manager. I really wanted to see him get what he deserved.

This book is the second in the series but can be read as a stand alone.
