The unstoppable tag team of writer DECLAN SHALVEY and artist DREW MOSS return for a brand-new story arc with ThunderCats issue 6, and they kick things off with a bang as Panthro powers up the THUNDERTANK for its first appearance in the hit new series!
This issue also continues the title’s unbroken run of captivating covers, with contributions coming in from SHALVEY, DAVID NAKAYAMA, LUCIO PARRILLO, JAE LEE and JUNE CHUNG, and IVAN TAO - plus an incentive original from special guest artist RAHZZAH!
Panthro goes out into the wilderness alone in the hopes of securing a new power source for the thunder cats and to reflect on his humbling defeat at the hands of Cheetara and his public disrespect of Lion-O.
A good character development issue like the previous one. It feels like Shalvey is finding his stride now that introductions are out of the way and the precedent has been set. The writing is coming through and it feels like Moss’s art is getting more defined as well.
His strength alone could not best a fellow thundercat, and seeking solace only provokes outsiders challenge as well. Will Panthro ever get a moment to have a reflective thought, or is combat all this planet knows. Find out in Thundercats #6
