I went to review the third book for this and realized I never actually got around to reviewing book one and two. So here is my cut/paste review for the entire series:
I just love this shit.
I'm a sucker for anything involving shifters/fated mates and this was very satisfying in that regard. The two main characters had great chemistry (which always garners a lot of stars for me), the world-building was decent (smut romance standards considered), and I always love a good pack/loyal bromance group.
The added Wall Street business angle was interesting. And the sprinkle of light BDSM was fine. In fact, if Cate C. Wells' Rejected Mate series and Fifty Shades of Grey had a baby, it would look a lot like this series. Without the inner goddess bullshit.
Books one and two were super solid....and book three was the weakest of the bunch, in my opinion. But I highly enjoyed the series overall and will definitely be re-reading.
I enjoyed this series 👌 It was dramatic, sweet, romantic, steamy, and packed with family drama! It started out a bit repetitive, but that got better in book two.. It’s a quick little spicy shifter-romance series, somewhere between 4 and 5 ⭐️’s
The conclusion to the trilogy begins right where book two left. Brick claimed Madi, but immediately left her to go deal with his pack. This is his "regularly scheduled programming" throughout most of the book, thinking everything has to be either/or, the pack or his mate, whom he claimed, but won't even acknowledges exists. This personally was a turn off for me, and although not overt cheating, just felt dirty when he decides to participate in the mating games. It take probably 2/3 of the book for him to get a slap upside the head (in the form of his mother?!) for him to understand Madi isn't his weakness, but his strength. On the Madi front, I loved her character. She stood up to the grandmother, she was there for Brick but didn't roll over for him and told him she needed time and space when he continued to treat her, IMO poorly. The best part for me in this book frankly was the glimpse at the secondary characters and where those stories may be going. I do hope each couple in this series isn't going to be a trilogy. I tolerate the ongoing story, but it's not my favorite.
Brick had chosen his mate, but will his choice destroy everyone and everything? Madi must embrace her title- Luna and prover herself to everyone. Together they are unstoppable, together they will prove to everyone that they are stronger than anyone imagined. A good amount of steamy spice too!! This was an amazing conclusion in the Werewolves of Wall Street Trilogy. The authors truly get the message across that with your true love by your side, everything is possible.
This was a great end to a great series! Loved how Madi stood up for herself and for Brick. I love the chemistry between these two! I am sad it is over but it was such a great ride!
Books 2 and 3 These two were short, sexy, and I couldn’t get enough. I’m so absorbed in this world that I don’t want anything else other than to keep reading about the Werewolves of Wall Street. This series took me by surprise in the best possible way. It’s intense, different, and deliciously smutty. Madi and Brick have their happily ever after — what else could I ask for? I’m starting Billy and Aubrey’s book right away because it looks so promising!
RULE #1 OF WALL STREET: DON’T HUNT WHAT YOU CANNOT EAT. RULE #2 OF WALL STREET: NEVER SHOW WEAKNESS. RULE #3 OF WALL STREET: NEVER BACK DOWN.
Someone should’ve told Madison Evans these rules before she took a job as assistant to Brick Blackthroat but then again where would be the fun in that. Marked, the finale of the Werewolves of Manhattan trilogy finds the hero and heroine at odds after Brick has marked Madi as his but won’t lay claim to her for fear of losing control of his pack and exposing his family to danger but a feisty girl like Madi isn’t about to remain anyone’s dirty secret for long, but with his actions has Brick destroyed any feelings she has for him?
With a dominant alpha boss for a hero and an equally dominant heroine although she does yield in the bedroom there was some serious chemistry between Madi and Brick right from the start. She wasn’t afraid to tease and poke the wolf leading to some deliciously wicked banter that had me laughing. With a lot more action in this book compared to the first two books, Marked was a rollercoaster of a read helped by the fact that Madi did seem to have a habit of walking into danger. I did get frustrated with Brick over his reluctance to publicly claim Madi, but he was torn between protecting his pack or following his heart. Perhaps he should’ve thought of her as an asset not a weakness. Overall, this was a fantastic trilogy with a fantastic hero and heroine and great secondary characters who leave me eager for more from the series.
This is probably the first book in this series that felt like a werewolf one- I loved it. Some parts of the book were meh, but other than that- I can’t wait for the next one!
Super excited to read about Billy in the future. Hope there’s a series with Nickel too, but who knows.
Highly entertaining, emotionally thrilling, action packed romantic adventure filled with interesting charters and landscape, desire and passion. An edge of your seat emotional roller coaster from beginning to end.
This is the end of the trilogy about these characters and I loved it! These authors always deliver a deliciously hot read with a fabulous dash of angst. The chemistry between Madi and Brick’s is crazy and I am here for it.
It's the final book in Brick and Maddie's story and thank god it was a short wait because I needed to know these two were going to be okay!
Brick and Maddie‘s story picks up right after Moon Mad and its a whirlwind of trials and tribulations for these two. The danger and surprise twists they go through will keep you hooked from start to finish.
I loved that Maddie didn't go the normal route of second guessing herself or Brick and that even though she didn't understand pack politics or the power dynamic, she stayed true to herself and managed to fully support Brick.
Brick was so focused on trying to saving everyone that he was a little slow on the uptake but I love him anyway 🥰 Once he saw the error of his ways, he was 100% a united front with Maddie. Needless to say the rest of his pack is amazing! So many potential book boyfriends there!
This was a perfect mix of angst, suspense, heat and romance. I am excited to get a deeper look into Billy, he definitely shined here! And I really hope this isn‘t the last of Brick and Maddie either. Definitely recommend now that the whole series is available. This is a spicy PRN shifter romance with no cheating, OW/OM drama and a fated mates HEA.
The end of this series is the best book of all! Brick is still trying to figure out how to fit Madi into his Packs world. The Pack is the most important thing to Brick and he wants to be a great Alpha. Madi is human and how she will fit into his Packs dynamic is all Brick can think about. Madi is his mate and he can't lose her. Yet, the answer lies with MAdi and does she deliver! LOVED the ending of this series! Super fun read!
BIG BAD BOSS: Marked (Werewolves of Wall Street, #3) . . . What a place to start. I was not sure what I got myself into, but I was sure happy that I made that leap. Maddie knew who she was and she owned it. She was strong and determined. She was more than just a human in a paranormal world. She had her own strength. Brick was an alpha with a problem or a blessing. He had a choice to make and it may just break him and his pack. Billy was a prick.
I found some interesting secondary characters with their own spotlight in this story. I also have to say that I should have read the blurb closer. I started with this installment in the series. You will definitely want to start at the beginning. You will have more context to fill in the spaces. I went back after reading this one.
Rose & Savino have themselves a hit and a lead in to another story or two.
What a great read! If this was a show, I would stand up and clap. This book perfectly captures the battles Brick was facing when it came to who he was going to choose. You could feel how torn he was and Madi was nothing but supportive. She was there for him, even when she needed her space to figure out what she wanted. She never gave up on him even though emotion told her to. Her instinct didn’t waver and every time she followed it, it was the right decision. In the supernatural world, there is no choice but to usually get turned yourself into the same creature you fall for. You see it when vampires fall for humans, werewolves fall for humans and everything in between. These authors didn’t do this to Madi, though there is the final book in this series so anything is possible. I have a feeling they don’t do this to Madi unless something crazy happens in the last book where she has no choice and it’s a life or death thing. I’m excited, but I’m even more stoked about Billy’s story which is apparently coming. I was hoping for either his or Aster’s story but I’m glad I got those point of views in this book and the last. It was a nice break after always being in either Madi or Brick’s point of view and it gives you a full idea of what is in the enemies side and Billy’s. This is especially true since you think this whole time he would be the one to betray Brick and turn against the pack. His track record shows that but I’m so happy he comes around and you actually end up liking the guy. I was hesitant about Catherine too but then she surprises you and because Brick denies us as the reader to hear her side of the story, you are made to think she’s an enemy throughout this series. There was lots of complex storylines and explanations that take place in this book and I finally feel like I got a handle of all of it in this book. It wasn’t that complicated to begin with but I feel like a lot of questions get answered in this book, plus you get insight on what the Adalwulf’s are up to and I think this grounded the story so you knew just how evil that pack is. Then at the end, it leaves you with a quick explanation on why Aiden is so ruthless, evil and so cold. No surprise there, it stems from his parents and you get a window into that through Aster. I think the title of this review sums up this book perfectly. There’s action, suspense, love and acceptance. It has everything you would want in a story. Brick and Madi’s love gets stronger, their bond more deep and Brick finally accepts his mother, his feelings and connection with Madi as well as himself and the kind of alpha he wants to be going forward. It was very triumphant and I’m curious to see how the last one closes out.
I loved the first two books for Madi and Brick so I knew the conclusion would be good but it was even better than expected. The ending really blew me away and is ne of the best I’ve ever read. This picks up right where Moon Mad left off so still battling the Adulwulfs but there’s also discontent in the Blackthroat pack. Lots of wolves are questioning Brick’s alpha status, especially now that they know he’s mated a human.
Madi and Brick are secure but she’s struggling to find her place in the world after leaving Moon Co. She can’t go back to being his assistant, they’re equals now, but she’ll never be respected in any other role because everyone will think Brick just gave her a title. Sure, he’s a billionaire so money is no longer an issue for her, but that doesn’t mean she’s just going to do nothing for the foreseeable future. Brick knows Madi is dealing with family issues but her career isn’t currently on his radar since he’s got his hands full with the company and his pack.
I’m happy to say Billy proved himself loyal because even though I didn’t like him much, I wanted him to be a true friend for Brick’s sake. The others always stood by him so Billy was the wild card but he was also instrumental in this amazing ending, so I guess he’s okay in my book (see what I did there?). All that is to say that my spidey senses are tingling and I think we may be lucky enough to get more Moon Co., since it felt like we were getting hints that Billy’s story may be next.
Brick and Madi’s story had me hooked from the first page of the first book, but their story only got better. There were a few times I knew what was coming only to be surprised in the best possible way, which doesn’t happen often so I adore a good twist that really throws me. I truly can’t say enough good things about this book and would give it ten stars if possible. I loved everything about it and really hope the others get their own books in the near future.
I've really enjoyed reading this series! Brick became the Blackthroat Alpha at just 18 after his father was murdered by someone he loved. Their pack and their once successful business was almost decimated by his uncle/cousin's pack the Adawulfs. Fighting to show his capability as Alpha, Brick united his pack and brought their business endeavors to an even greater level. As a very grumpy alpha-hole CEO, Brick was brought to his knees when his new assistant, Madison/Madi Evans showed her brilliance by anticipating his needs before he even voiced them. Over the course of the last two books, Brick realized his human assistant was also his fated mate and formally marked her when he was on the verge of going moon mad. In this book, Brick faces a decision on how to keep Madi safe from the Adawulfs, who continue to threaten to extinguish the Blackthroat pack, usurp their business holdings and become the most powerful wolfpack in the world. If his own pack finds out he's taken a human mate, they could lose faith in his ability to lead thus destroying the unity they've fragilely held together. Brick's estranged mother tries to help Madi understand the history of the Adalwulf/Blackthroat feud and to explain the inner workings of pack dynamics/politics. Always the problem solver, Madi seeks a solution to the seemingly impossible choice Brick must make. I've loved Madi's character from the start. Although she's only 22, her quick wit and determination not to be intimidated by Brick or his executive team makes her stand out. She shows her vulnerabilities as well but always stays true to who she is and what she wants. Loved how these writers brought a satisfying conclusion to their story!
I liked the series, although I don't necessarily know if I think the third book is the bang of the series. Definitely worth reading to finish it, though.
The authors seemed less sure of themselves in this third book. Perhaps not as fleshed out. She did try to provide a fresh perspective of the challenges that the MMC and FMC face in defining their new relationship. I thought that was a nice change that the author highlighted how difficult it was for the FMC to transition from being at the top of her game to suddenly having nothing to do, and then to give her the opportunity to run her own company. That was a nice touch.
I kept expecting that something would come out of the FMC's parentage to explain the shifter-human connection, but maybe this was meant to mislead. For instance, the MMC commented about how she felt that she had to obey Aidan.
- I liked how they humanized his mother and there was a strong sense of sisterhood bringing in the women and how they supported each other - I've mentioned this before, though, and a comment for how I wish this had improved is if they had made the bad guys more three dimensional. - Yet another inconsistency. In book #1, when FMC was left in the snow, they said not to put her in warm water, but to put her in bed to be warmed up by a person next to her. They say the shower could burn a person who is suffering from hypothermia. Yet in this book, they put her in the shower in the Winter Pack Games. - I kept expecting to hear more about Astare and whether she would ever be freed to meet someone.
Now that I've discovered that I like grumpy MMCs, I'm going to look for more, especially in the paranormal universe. Any suggestions?
Well, this book went many places. Brick doesn’t know what to do about his dirty little secret, Madison. The constant attack against Madison from the Adalwulf family continues. The play for her makes no sense and yet they continue and fail over and over again. We see Madison acquiesce to the situation and then get hurt by the circumstances within in days as this continues until she finally had enough and walks away making Brick try to decide, essentially forcing his hand. The smart thing that surprised me is bringing a dog whistle to a dog fight. Bravo Madison. Everything I read says the series is complete but we leave with an epilogue from Aster as if the story is still continuing. There’s even a note from the author just look for the next book with Billy as the protagonist, however, I can’t find anything online about it. The ending feels unfinished. i’ve vacillated between 2 and 3 stars and landed on 3 stars.
My notes: And we start with Aster/Auldawulf seer, and that appears to start her story for another series. We immediately start the I can’t have her from Brick and the need to put her out of my mind for my pack crap. Author makes a mistake with the Swedish melee. Brick kicks the water on with his boot but he is supposed to be naked from just shifting back and running into the chalet. Another author mistake: why would they turn on the fire sprinklers to wash the blood away if they were going to torch the place? The blood would have burned up in the fire and now anything wet won’t burn?

The story is the third in the trilogy in the Werewolves of Wall Street. This story is intense, with a mix of characters, both shifters and humans. It is full of mystery, suspense, secrets, and battles, within the family—and outside of it. Some lines cannot be crossed without dire consequences, and Brick and Madi have crossed that line.
The story is intense and there are times I wanted to knock Brick in the head for keeping secrets from Madi, and from his pack. She is like his dirty little secret, and that won’t work. After all, her life was the result of a dirty secret, with her sperm donor denying her and her mother. Madi isn’t a pushover, if anything she is powerful, and yes, she will make her stand.
The story is the constant struggle between the Blackthroat and the Adalwulfs. Will Brick listen to what Madi has to tell him? Will he finally understand that his own mother isn’t the enemy, but a pawn used in a cruel game? How far will Brick go to protect his mate? From his own pack, and his enemy?
I really am not ready for this to end—and I am under the impression that there will be more books to come for this series, or at least spin-offs from this series. Because this story is a mystery and suspense with romance, I will just leave this review with this final thought, I am so glad that Brick woke up and with the strength of a good woman by his side, the Blackthroat pack is stronger than ever.
Big Bad Boss: Marked solidified my opinion that Warewolves of Wall Street series is the best paranormal romance series that I've read lately. The conclusion to Brick and Madi's story is full of plot twists, unexpected solutions to very difficult problems and tying up the loose ends of some very serious ongoing issues. And it's way hotter . Because Brick and Madi have insane chemistry and are steaming hot together. The story line continues seamlessly just where book two ended. Madi is fierce and calculated as ever when she's got a problem to solve. And she started with herself. She came to terms with her new reality and her love for Brick and decided what she wants from their relationship. Because being just mated and kept a secret is not for her . And after a very dramatic turn in the story she left Brick to figure it out for himself . And I loved Madi for the courage to do it . On other side she made peace with her past and embraced her future and what a glorious one it is. She's a true boss lady with all the perks. And once again she proves herself as the perfect match for Brick. Let me just tell you that she saved the day and declared herself as Brick's mate to the pack . And all those shifters didn't expected it. And Brick finally made a decision for himself and the pack and mended some broken ties with his mother. I'm still giddy from that confrontation with the opposing pack . And after all those hints about the coming stories in this series I can say that I can't wait to read them.
Thanks to the authors and Literally Yours PR for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.
3.75 stars. Brick, the male wolf shifter lead, is returning back to his life as pack alpha, leaving Madi, the female human lead and his marked mate, locked up in his tower, safe and isolated from the world. But Madi is a strong, confident, determined female and she’s not putting up with that for long, let alone forever.
Now they need to work out how to get Brick’s pack to accept Madi, keep her safe from Brick’s enemies, and actually establish a balanced relationship…
This story is dual POV (except first and last chapters), well written, and a satisfying finale to this contemporary shifter romance trilogy. I enjoyed that Madi didn’t let herself be beaten down by Brick’s expectations. I also enjoyed the way Brick’s mother found a safe space for herself. I appreciated that Brick finally got to a point where he acknowledged how much he needed Madi and began to make space for a more balanced relationship but I found him still a bosshole and still didn’t like him by the end. The last chapter is a cliffhanger leading to the next story/series but doesn’t need to be read for full enjoyment of the ending of this series. I enjoyed the secondary characters and am looking forward to more stories in this world.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
Big Bad Boss: Marked is the third book in a romance trilogy in a world where shifters meet Wall Street. Will Brick and Madi's relationship ultimately survive?
Book 3 Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars Overall Series Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
Spice Level: On page - 3 out of 5 peppers
Brick has now marked Madi so things should be a lot smoother sailing now, right?
Likes -We get to read the thoughts of some of the more interesting side characters -The story finally progresses with more answers
Dislikes -Main characters continue to not communicate but instead work things out with spicy time -Didn't care for how Madi saved Brick and the pack -The story ultimately felt like it dragged out too long
The pace of the final book in the trilogy felt like it finally picked up and several different events certainly transpired.
However, I do feel like the series as a whole dragged out too long and one to two books would have been more fitting.
That said, I don't regret my time reading this trilogy and was mostly satisfied with how things got tied up at the end.
I’d recommend Werewolves of Wall Street to those who enjoy paranormal and billionaire romance and don't mind reading a series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
"Big Bad Boss - Marked" by Renee Rose and Lee Savino serves up a wolf-shifter billionaire romance that’s equal parts steamy and growl-worthy—literally. Brick, our alpha wolf, has marked Madi, his human mate, which you'd think would mean smooth sailing, right? Wrong. Instead of living happily ever after, Brick locks Madi in his tower like a moody medieval lord, because nothing says "I love you" like isolation. Classic.
While Brick runs off to manage his pack and wrestle with his alpha issues, Madi is left to figure out how to avoid going full Rapunzel. And let me tell you, Madi is no damsel in distress. She’s smart, confident, and not about to let some brooding wolf boss her around (well, at least not outside the bedroom). Brick’s whole "pack or mate" dilemma stretches on far too long, but thankfully Madi, with a little help from Brick's surprisingly wise mother, reminds him that having a mate isn’t a liability—it’s a strength.
The third book picks up the pace after a lot of back-and-forth from the previous installments, and we finally get some answers. Though communication between Brick and Madi mostly happens through, spicy encounters, lol, their dynamic keeps you turning the pages. Plus Rose & Savino can write a spicy scene like nobody's business!
The finale? A little cringey, but hilariously so. IYKYK. If you love a shifter romance with a side of pack drama and some billionaire flair, "Big Bad Boss - Marked" is a satisfying (if drawn-out) conclusion.
Madi and Brick United as One! 4.65•••••/5 Spoiler Alert!
Madison Evans/ Madi/ Luna, and Brick Blackthroat/ Big Bad Boss CEO of Moon Co., have finally mated as he, Brick marked his human-mate Madi. Though still a secret to his pack, his inner circle, has encouraged him to attend the Swedish Winter Mating Games; a bad move as Olin’s men captured Madi from their Greek island and deposited her in the midst of the games, for ‘Hunt the Human’ challenge. With Madi’s assistance as she commanded Billy to help Brick while she thwarted Scar Face’s attack, the pack triumphed over Olin’s crazy henchmen. Brick realized that Madi made him stronger as he united his injured mom, Catherine, back into his pack, before he informed and accepted the pack’s challenges with his human-mate news. Madi, cleverly alpha, dog- whistled them into submission stopping the deaths and challenges, securing Brick’s position in the pack, wedging division in Aiden’s pack as he murdered his father on his death bed, in front of Aster, his ‘ new seeress’ not. Although this read like ‘Twilight’ with loads on BDSM, I hope the next book is about Billy and Aubrey and Madi’s special pups, as she runs Harrington Cosmetics, as co- CEO. A very good read as one was shown to look at weakness as strengths especially with female wolves/ humans, and once again, brain trumped brawn!

Wow, what a conclusion to this trilogy. 4.75 stars
I loved every minute of this book, even though some scenes broke my heart. But they only made Brick and Madi grow and become stronger.
Brick had after some time came to a realization what is the most important to him, and finally came to peace with all the traumas, issues and problems that were arising in his life or came from the past and haunted him till this day. And we all know, that Madi was the one, who made him realize that he has to stay strong and meets those darkness, so that he could finally be free from their shackles. ANd what an astounding alpha he became in return.
But the show as always was stolen by Madi - and especially that scene, where she met whole Blackthroat pack (I didn't even thought or had an inkling that was going to happen, but it so made me laugh, wow, fav scene from the whole book). But she as well grew as a person, met her own monsters, and I so love that she didn't let herself be thrown around by no one, not her man, not her family, not outsiders. A true Icon Queen!!!!
This book had the perfect balance of tense action, emotional dramas, love confessions and spicy scenes. It kept me on my toes the whole time, but was still surprised by how it ended, it came so abruptly, that I didn't believe it ended...
Very excited to meet other characters from this universe:)
This series has been addictive, and this book was worth the wait. It was bewitching, captivating, and packed a punch. The vivid scenes almost made me think that shifters exist. I was cheering for Brick and Madi but I wondered if a positive outcome would be possible for them.
It's a wonder that Brick didn't give himself whiplash after he went back and forth between Madi and his pack. I was glad when he finally redeemed himself and realized that she was his future and that you can't fight fate. She was the air he breathed, but would his pack accept her? When you unravel Brick’s past, it is obvious why he was in such a mess.
I admired Madi for her intelligence, loyalty, and tenacity. She met every challenge head-on but did waiver at times. Not that I blame her, as she was sick of being Brick’s little secret, so she took matters into her own hands with surprising results. She not only stood up to Brick but also to his pack.
There was chaos in Brick and Madi’s chemistry. It was filled with raw passion, but it was also fragile and filled with uncertainty. This story was well-written, fast-paced, and action-packed. It has all the markings of these two talented authors on every page. It's a satisfying conclusion to an exciting series.
Coming June 13th in the final book of Brick and Madison’s story, both of them must face the existential question: does love truly conquer all? And if it can, is the potential reward worth the potential cost? The love between the two of them is hot, intense, and consuming but they both exist outside of their relationship. In order for their relationship to last, they need to find a way to come together and overcome the significant barriers in their way to their own happily ever after. It is a journey to get there but I found the conclusion to their story very satisfying. Sometimes you can read a book as a standalone independent from a series, but this book really should be read after the first two books in the series. The prior two books have so much character development and backstory to everything that happens in the third book that one really needs to read those to get the most out of this book. I enjoyed the series and if you like shifter romances, you should check this one out. “Big Bad Boss: Marked” is the last book in Renee Rose and Lee Savino’s Werewolves of Wall Street trilogy, and I thought it was such a fantastic conclusion to Brick and Madi’s love story!
Brick and Madi had a lot of things to work through, and there were definitely times where I wasn’t sure they would be able to fix all the problems they were facing.
I think the fact that Brick was a werewolf alpha, but that Madi was human despite being his fated mate was the reason for a lot of their issues and disagreements.
It took Madi a while to understand what it meant to be someone’s fated mate, and it took Brick a while to realize that his efforts to protect Madi were actually making her feel stifled.
I’ve been rooting for Brick and Madi to find happiness together since book one, and without giving anything away, I wanted to say that I was really happy with how their story ended.
Renee Rose and Lee Savino were both new-to-me authors, but I will definitely be looking into their other books now that I’ve finished the Werewolves of Wall Street trilogy
I would highly recommend if you think you’d like to read about the relationship that forms between a bossy billionaire shifter and his snarky, sassy human assistant!
