Power and wealth aren’t half as seductive as the promise of unexpected true love…
Simon
I had no idea what to expect from my first experiment with the Dark Fantasies Club. A good time that tickled some of my deeper desires? An easy way to indulge during heat without consequences? A chance to explore the more subservient part of my personality? I knew anything was possible.
What I didn’t expect was to end up at the center of someone else’s family drama…or to want to be a part of it with my whole heart.
Victor
Playing around with a random omega from the Dark Fantasies Club was supposed to help me let off some steam, not make me hotter than I’ve ever been before. But Simon isn’t like any other omega, and too big a part of me wants him to belong to me for real. The timing couldn’t be worse, though. Not when, after all these years, my corrupt uncle finally opened a door for me to take over the family business and set it back on the right track.
But doing the right thing with Victory Holdings comes with more danger than I ever thought possible, and when Simon becomes a pawn at the center of the game, I would do anything to protect the omega I wasn’t supposed to fall in love with.
Omegas After Dark is set in the same world as the lighter, fluffier Bangers & Mash series, but it deals with much more intense subject matter. Sink into the underworld of Barrington in all its super-hot glory, but don’t say you weren’t warned!
I am a huge fan of this author and especially their omegaverse stories! This entire series has hooked me and I was super excited for this story!
My heart felt for Simon so much. To want things that you feel you shouldn’t and feel you should be ashamed of cannot be an easy thing to live with. I’m so happy that he finally took the chance and found a fantasy and a mate that will make him truly happy! Even Victor had some heartbreaking moments with realizing how wrong his actions were in the past and trying to change but still wanting to be true to himself. It was very much a story of self-acceptance and balance for both MCs!
This book was a bit outside my comfort zone but I absolutely love this series and author so wanted to give it a try. I was very intrigued by the beginning and went through some of the same thoughts as Simon did about feeling like should I really be enjoying this? It was actually really neat to kind of be in the same headspace as one of the MCs. I did have to put the book aside at one point as it got a bit too much for me with the Master/slave dynamic. Fortunately I actually ended up meeting this author at a recent book convention and talked to her about the book and it got me wanting to push past that part and keep going. I’m so glad I did! As much as the dynamic still isn’t for me I really did enjoy reading about Simon and Victor and enjoyed seeing past characters in the story as well.
I really appreciated their HEA in this story and I encourage you to give this a try even if it’s not your regular thing if you enjoyed the rest of the series. It very much follows the feelings of those books and we get a good insight into one of the MCs for the next book. And let me tell you! I am here for the next book! I am soooo excited!
This is the first book I've read in this series, and it's the third book. It does contain some mild spoilers from the previous book(s), and I did get the feeling of "should have been there", but it was my choice to grab the third book as my first, so that's on me.
I'm a huge fan of MM Farmer after reading the entire Bangers & Mash series, so I was really excited to read this, though I knew it was super kınkч compared to Bangers & Mash. And it was. It definitely pushed some of my boundaries.
Simon and Victor meet up through the Dark Fantasies Club, both already agreed on the fantasy to play out during their week together. That week has some twists and turns as Victor's family business goes to sh*t when Victor's power hungry uncle wants it all to himself. Simon becomes a part of everything as he refuses to leave his master even though they've only known each for a day.
Simon is also struggling internally about what he wants and the things he desires. Omegas have been fighting for their rights, and his wish is to go back in time where omegas didn't have any. I can understand his struggle, because I had a similar feeling as I was reading the book. Like it felt wrong, but I know some people enjoy this dynamic and I would never judge. I'm glad Simon had Victor as he was going through all of these emotions. Even though their relationship wasn't what you'd call an ordinary relationship, it was still sweet, supportive and they fit together perfectly. And they were both really, really kınkч. Prepare for a lot of spice.

Simon was intrigued when his brother Hayden joined the Dark Fantasies Club. Even more so when Hayden met his soulmate Mason, so Simon signs up to the app & connects with Victor an alpha he saw at his brother’s wedding. Victor has found that using the Dark Fantasies Club helped him let off some steam but them he meets Simon who isn’t like any other omega. The third book in the series & it’s easily read on its own but I’d recommend reading at least the previous book, which is Hayden’s story as it kind of sets the scene for this book. I loved the ever so proper Simon who’s fantasy was anything but & I loved how with Victor’s help he came to accept who he was. I also loved Victor who was urning hiss life around & with Simon’s help he also became a better person – so yes they were perfect for each other, the chemistry between them was off the scale but lust very quickly turned to love & bonding. There were also family & work problems for Victor which Simon & his close family helped with. A very well written page turner which kept me reading well in to the night to finish it & I can’t wait for the next book after the teaser! I voluntarily read and reviewed a special copy of this book; all thoughts and opinions are my own
Dark Fantasies Club makes your dreams come true, and omega Simon has some. Alpha Victor is the one that will fulfill Simon’s dreams.
Blindfolded, hands and feet tied, Victor takes the little omega with him. He’s perfect, he’s beautiful and petite, his scent is exquisite and he’s submissive af! What’s more to ask? Their Master and slave fantasy play can begin!
The scenes that follow and the dynamic between them are absolutely breathtaking. What they didn’t expect was the soul-deep connection they developed.
Victor has a third of the family company, his uncle and co-owner, is a vicious pathetic man who wants to get rid of Victor. Uncle uses the company for dark business. The story around all the matters was intriguingly written.
Gosh, what a great read, the bonding parts were stunning. I love it after reading hundreds of stories where bonding is involved there’s always something new to discover! Victor and Simon were fabulous as Master and slave, and as lovers, I could watch them endlessly. The writing was flawless, the pace at all times proper, and the content very entertaining and enjoyable!
Simon secretly wants to be an ‘old-fashioned Omega’. He wants to submit to a powerful Alpha, to be owned, and treated like an object. He enrolls in the Dark Fantasies Club and is paired with Victor, an Alpha who, as much as he wants to change, can’t seem to stop his desire to dominate and degrade Omegas. Simon & Victor live out their fantasies while also realizing that, with a willing partner, there is nothing wrong with the things they desire.
Victor has business problems as well that are constantly pulling him from their fantasy play. Simon uses his knowledge of the law to assist Victor with his business issues.
***** POV… multi first person
Standalone or series… book 3 in series. Can be read as standalone but would be better enjoyed when read in order
His Master is the third book in the Omegas After Dark series. Each book can be read as a standalone but why not enjoy the whole series. This is the story of Simon an omega and Victor an alpha. As with the other books in the series this story starts with a fantasy from the Dark Fantasies Club. This book for me was about accepting who you are and becoming your true self. I loved how this book ties in with the others in the series. I just love dark fantasies that leed to true mates and love. MM Farmer does such an amazing job with these types of stories. I would definitely recommend this book and series as 5 star reads.
Simon’s and Victors story was good especially with the link storyline between them. The story kept me engaged and I love the chemistry between these two characters. Seeing past characters such as Hayden and Mason is amazing cause I love when characters overlap. I’m glad Simon found someone who loves him and accepts him. I can’t wait for Artemis’s story!
His Master is the third book in the ‘Omegas After Dark’ series. It stars Simon, an omega, and Victor Woodbury, an Alpha. This is told in first person from Simon and Victor’s povs.
First the cover. I believe that’s Simon on the cover. It’s not exactly how I pictured him in my head, but there is mention in the story of him only wearing a suit jacket at one point.
The blurb is pretty accurate concerning the plot. What it doesn’t cover is the character growth which I’ll talk about later. I thought this was the best of the series so far. I found it emotionally intense because of Simon. About the first half of the book was Victor and Simon playing and discovering how they fit together with their kinks. The troubles dealing with Victory Holdings, which were introduced in the last book, are woven throughout the scenes with Victor and Simon until the problems at Victory Holdings are coming to a head and their time together is put on hold. But during those few days, the two have already started to bond.
Usually, the partners Victor has played with, are omegas who like to pretend they are slaves for the duration of the week. Victor discovers that Simon is a true slave, but Simon has deep guilt and shame over his desires to submit so deeply and completely. Society says that omegas no longer must submit to Alphas, that they can have jobs and have choices. Simon is especially worried about what his younger brother Hayden will think of him. Hayden is the wild, kinky, and outgoing brother who starred in Book Two. So, a lot of the first half of the book was the sex, but also Simon having to deal with his emotions over what he wanted and what he thought was expected of him.
Victor also had his own emotional battle, but not like Simon. Victor was raised by his parents until Uncle Vincent took him away to be his heir. Victor loved to force omegas to submit and treat them like lower beings. He used to do it all the time, until Hayden was kidnapped and that crossed the line for Victor. He then realized how he treated omegas was wrong and started to change before he had the play-week with Simon. I think the core personality of caring that Victor’s parents nurtured in Victor before he was taken away, was always in him, and he just needed to find it in himself again. Being a Master of a slave meant also caring and looking after that type of omega, not just being mean or violent without caring for the omega.
Both Simon and Vincent had to work through the guilt and shame they had, and figure out how they fit together within their own power dynamic. I liked Simon being able to talk with Hayden about how he felt and what he wanted. I also liked seeing Mason and Hayden again, and Simon discovering some things about his own parents. The author did a terrific job with character development, their emotions, and I’m always happy to read about well written characters.
The business shenanigans that were happening with Victory Holdings didn’t take up too much page time in my opinion. It was there to add spice and settle the question of how the events in Book Two were going to end. A new character is brought into the story, Victor’s best friend, who’s an Alpha. It looks like he might be a main character in the next book, which is possibly a menage. I’m looking forward to that.
Overall, I really enjoyed His Master. I recommend this for those who like BDSM. But remember, this isn’t light BDSM. I give this book, 5 Stars.
I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest and unbiased review.
I haven’t read a lot of books in the Omegaverse genre and wasn’t expecting to this time when I clicked on “His Master” by MM Farmer, which is book three in her Omegas After Dark Series. I was in a hurry and greatly enjoy books from this author so it was chosen. When it came time to read the story it didn’t take long to realize I had stumbled into an alternate world with classes of Alphas, Omegas, and Betas and where male pregnancies were commonplace. Before continuing on, I took the time to read a primer on the inner workings of the Omegaverse genre so I was better able to understand the hierarchy of the world, the typical personalities and functions of each class, the mating rituals, and other factors associated with this genre. I’m definitely glad I took the time to gain an understanding of the genre as it increased my enjoyment of the story. MM Farmer (aka Mary Farmer) can put words to a page and bring them to life. She definitely did this to the characters and plot of “His Master”. Simon Kipling is an Omega who has signed up with an app called The Dark Fantasies Club. He wanted to explore his sexual self and his desires which both shamed him and made him feel free. His chosen partner was Victor Woodbury, an Alpha, and a man who could fulfill Simon’s desires while satisfying his own needs. These two men are excellent characters and perfect for one another as they realize they are soulmates, their desires compliment one another, and each man gains a new view of themselves and the world. Also important to this story is Simon’s and Victor’s experience regarding family. Simon grew up in a loving, supportive environment. On the other hand, Victor was wrenched from his parents, both Betas, and raised by his morally questionable, power hungry Alpha, Uncle Vincent. The plot goes beyond their fantasies as Victor is involved in family drama surrounding the battle for control of his company. Victor’s Uncle Vincent is a power hungry Alpha who will do anything to get Victor to tow the line. Victor is in the midst of turning his life around personally and professionally and no longer wants the family company involved in shady or illegal business. His Beta cousin Vivian is a wildcard, is she on his side or her father’s (Vincent’s) side? (It would be nice to see Vivian get her own book!). It was wonderful to experience the blossoming and growth of Victor and Simon. Their romance was unconventional but it was consensual and worked for them. The idea of a bond connecting mates so they can understand each other on a deeper level and to feel and experience each other’s emotions is highly romantic and a beautiful aspect of the story. Overall, I found this a great read with wonderful characters and an engaging plot. This is an M/M romances with lots of steam and spice, lots of consensual open door encounters with elements of BDSM. I definitely recommend “His Master” for fans of Merry Farmer/MM Farmer, lovers of the Omegaverse genre, and fans of super spicy, very creative stories.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review, my thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
His Master is a captivating and intense addition to the Omegas After Dark series, masterfully crafted by MM Farmer. This third installment dives deep into the intricate dynamics of desire, power, and unexpected love, pulling readers into a world where the stakes are high and emotions run even higher.
The story centers on Simon, an omega exploring his hidden desires at the Dark Fantasies Club. What begins as a chance to indulge in his fantasies quickly evolves into something far more profound when he meets Victor. Simon's character is relatable and genuine; his journey of self-discovery resonates with anyone who has ever grappled with their identity and desires. The way Farmer portrays Simon’s exploration of submission and vulnerability is both tender and empowering.
Victor, on the other hand, is a fascinating character whose journey is layered with complexity. Initially seeking a casual encounter to relieve stress, he finds himself irresistibly drawn to Simon. Their chemistry ignites from the moment they meet, and the tension between them is palpable. Victor’s internal struggle between his responsibilities to his family business and his burgeoning feelings for Simon creates a compelling conflict that kept me engaged throughout the book.
Farmer excels at building suspense, especially as Victor’s world becomes more dangerous with the re-emergence of his corrupt uncle and the high-stakes game surrounding Victory Holdings. The juxtaposition of Simon’s innocence and the darker elements of Victor’s family drama adds depth to the narrative. As Simon becomes unwittingly entangled in Victor’s dangerous family affairs, the stakes heighten, and the reader is left on the edge of their seat, wondering how their love can survive such turmoil.
What I appreciated most about His Master is the emotional depth and complexity of the characters. MM Farmer skillfully navigates the themes of loyalty, trust, and the lengths one will go to protect the ones they love. Simon’s vulnerability paired with Victor’s fierce protectiveness creates a beautifully tender dynamic that showcases the power of love in even the most chaotic situations.
The writing is rich and immersive, drawing readers into the vibrant yet perilous world of Barrington. The balance of steamy romance and heart-pounding drama keeps the narrative flowing seamlessly, making it difficult to put the book down. Farmer’s ability to tackle intense subject matter while maintaining a sense of intimacy and connection between the characters is commendable.
In conclusion, His Master is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a passionate and gripping romance filled with emotional stakes. MM Farmer has delivered a story that not only entertains but also explores the complexities of love and identity in a nuanced way. This book is a powerful testament to the idea that sometimes, the most unexpected connections can lead to the truest forms of love. I can’t wait to see where the series goes next!.

It feels like its been FOREVER since the last Omega's After Dark book came out, but MM Farmer's been busy. ANYway, here's the third novel in her series: "His Master."
["Power and wealth aren’t half as seductive as the promise of unexpected true love… Simon I had no idea what to expect from my first experiment with the Dark Fantasies Club. I can't. I just can't. How can a series be so freaking fluffy and so fucking depraved at the same time? Like seriously!?!? How does MM do it? And not just once, because this is the third book in a row that I've been blow away (in this series).
Simon had to work through some of his own personal insecurities and how his wants/needs can fit into his life and world few. Victor had to work through bettering himself and making up for past mistakes. Turns out, they helped each other grow and heal and accept themselves. ;)
Add into that some trauma and some threats (and lots of sexy times) and you got yourself a fabulous red.
Trigger Warnings: blackmail, threats, attempted assault, harassment, and more.
One of the best books I’ve read with the M/s trope.
All the books in the Omegas After Dark series have been intense, kinky and dark, but this one, for me, is the most powerful yet. Partly due to the specific kink it explores (master/slave), but mainly because much of it centers around the Omega, Simon, and his journey toward self-acceptance.
The book is interesting, engaging, suspenseful, and super spicy. Like the others in the series, it has an exciting and gripping plot that runs alongside the romance. Yet, the best part for me is the characters—Simon and Victor—and Simon’s journey.
Simon’s struggle between what he truly wants and makes him happy versus how he thinks he has to be is beautifully written. You can really feel his anguish and pain at wanting to be something he’s been told is wrong. His feelings and thoughts go beyond the bedroom into his everyday life, which is where the book truly shines as more than a story of love and kink.
I think we can all relate to Simon in some way, we live in a world that constantly tells us what we should aspire to and how we should be. When we don’t want those things, society can make us feel that there’s something wrong with us. Simon’s struggle reminds us that it’s okay to pursue a different path.
I don’t want to end this review without emphasizing that this is one of the best books I’ve read in this trope. There are many books that explore the master/slave or dominant/submissive dynamic, and a lot of them include an inexperienced sub (who might not even see themselves as a sub) who runs into an all-knowing dom who “recognizes” their submissive side. Too often, I’m left with the sense that, despite claims of consent, the character is nudged into things they don't truly want as the dom molds them into what he wants. This book is nothing like that, it’s refreshing and far more interesting than many others.
If you like a side of kink with your romance, this book is a must-read. You won’t be disappointed.
I was so excited to see this book come out. I was hoping Simon would get his story and I wasn't disappointed with this book. This is one of my favorites, oh who am I kidding, all of the books so far in this series is my favorite.
Simon finally decides to sign up for the Dark Fantasy website like his brother did. He couldn't take it anymore and he figured out what he liked and just went ahead and put it all on the application. A Alpha in a suit just really gets him going. When he sees Victor he can't help but feel things for him. When he realizes who the alpha is that accepted his contract, he hopes that Victor won't be disappointed.
Victor is trying to change and become a better Alpha. He doesn't want to be like he used to be as he doesn't like who he has become. His Uncle wants him to be this way and he doesn't. He decides to accept a contract through the Dark Fantasy website and hopes that this will be different. When he reads what Simon wants, it hits very close to him. He can't help but want to be part of the fantasy.
Simon really wants to be there for Victor and he feels like he isn't in a fantasy and what they are doing is real. He wants to be able to help Victor with anything and everything he can. Victor can't help but feel that what he is experiencing with Simon is real and as the Alpha he has to let him know. He just hopes that Simon feels the same however business troubles is getting in the way of things. When Simon offers him some assistance, he doesn't think twice and accepts the help. When he sees what Simon is willing to do for him, he just make him feel stronger for him.
Simon & Victor have a really good story and connection. These two really bring on the steam but also show what a true Alpha & Omega are to be to each other.
I received an ARC through Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.
4.5 stars Simon and Victor are two really great guys, they have an arrangement through a fabulous app to meet and fulfill their deepest fantasies, but what they aren't expecting is to find a connection that is deeper and more meaningful than any they've ever had - along with plenty of super hot, intense, master/slave smexiness. Simon has always been afraid of anyone finding out about his deepest desires. He craves being a slave, but not just for intimate times, he truly wants to live this lifestyle. Victor is the perfect master for Simon as their kinks line up perfectly, even the part where they want it outside of the bedroom. Neither man was looking for forever, but the intensity of their sexual connection, along with them bonding quicklt, leads to some very deep, genuine feeling in a short time frame. I loved the way Victor helped Simon to realize that there was absolutely nothing wrong with his desires, and helped him to accept himself. Along with our MC's having an amazing connection, there is a great storyline running throughout this book. There are some dastardly deeds, deception, violence, and threats that stand in the way of our MC's getting their HEA, but once that's taken care of, they finally get to belong to one another on every level imaginable. The ARC I read still needed another round with an editor, this will hopefully be fixed for the final copy. Overall, this book was quite entertaining and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this book, as well as this series and this author.
I received an ARC from GRR, this review is my honest, unbiased opinion.
This is another great book in the Omegas After Dark series, set in Barrington, the home of Bangers and Mash, the omega heat alphas group. In this case, Simon has submitted an application to the Dark Fantasies Club for his fantasy to be submissive and subservient to a Master alpha. Out of several interested alphas, Simon chooses Victor, a dominant alpha he saw once at a party as “the man in a suit”, (part of Simon’s kink), a man he was intrigued by and is now anxious to serve. The fantasy progresses well, with Victor meeting everything Simon could desire for his fantasy, until a power play in Victor’s company interrupts their play time with more pressing matters. As the two go on the run, the bond between them grows stronger as they work to survive the power play and move on with their joined lives.
The characters and their interactions are kinky but fascinating as they play out this BDSM kink fantasy, moving it from fantasy to real life. There are supporting characters from book 2 and the next alpha lead for book 4 in significant roles in this book. Victor’s pressing business matters create tension, and lead to changes in the lives of our MCs. The book held my interest and kept me entertained as I read to the finish in one sitting, Merry Farmer is one of my favorite authors, and this book did not disappoint. Highly recommend. I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.
We met Simon, brother of Hayden in the first book, His Hunter; Hunter is part of the Dark Fantasies Club, where omegas can find Alphas to fulfill their needs.
Finally bravw enough, Simon decides to build a profile and is matched to Victor Woodbury’s profile. He is the nephew of the guy involved in Hayden's abduction in book two. So, a little complicated to say the least, but the connection when they meet is instant.
The two being their date together and it isn't long before Victor discovers his uncle is accusing him of kidnapping Simon, and is trying to get him kicked out of the company.
Amidst the legal stuff - Simon knows corporate law thankfully - and the emotions running high, Victor has to try to fight for his company and omega.
There's a very prominent D/s element in this book and plenty of spice.
When Simon and Victor go to see Hayden and Mason, later as the story arc develops, Simon is worried how they will react, but is relieved to find it is a safe place for me to be himself. And that is a key factor for the LGBTQIA and the BDSM community; acceptance, comfort and safety.
I particularly liked that aspect of the book, as well as the humour and the intimate scenes.
It's a fun book, with the added business rivalry story arc and meeting Simon's parents fully plus Vivien and Artemis, Victor's cousin and his best friend.
It's an enjoyable romp and another good addition to the series.
Simon had no idea what to expect from his first experiment with the Dark Fantasies Club. An easy way to indulge during heat without consequences? A chance to explore the more subservient part of his personality? He knew anything was possible. What he didn't expect was to end up at the centre of someone else’s family drama or to want to be a part of it with my whole heart. For Victor playing around with a random omega from the Dark Fantasies Club was supposed to help him let off some steam, not make him hotter than he's ever been before. But Simon isn't like any other omega, and too big a part of Victor wants him to belong to him for real. The timing couldn't be worse, though. Not when, after all these years, his corrupt uncle finally opened a door for him to take over the family business and set it back on the right track. But doing the right thing with Victory Holdings comes with more danger than he ever thought possible, and when Simon becomes a pawn at the centre of the game, Victor would do anything to protect the omega he wasn't supposed to fall in love with.
I loved this story of the two men who were only supposed to be together for a set time but they were so compatible that they fell in love. I enjoyed the complex situation with Victor's family and how the men handled it. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
Book three in the Omega's After Dark, His Master features Simon Kipling, the older brother of Hayden (from His Captor) is nagged/guilted into joining the Dark Fantasies Club by Hayden. Simon's kink is Master/omega slave, something he's sure his brother and parents would abhor. On the DFC app, he comes across Victor Woodbury, nephew of the man who arranged Hayden's kidnapping. Victor is as conflicted as Simon. He's as ashamed of his uber alpha tendencies towards sadism and objectification, as Simon's need to submit. This was master/slave lite. Probably because the kink would get in the way of the two more important story arcs. 1) That no one should be ashamed of their desires in the bedroom. Safe, sane, consensual is not mentioned by name. But it's there. 2)The evil Woodbury uncle's try to take over the family business. Farmer does fit some sizzling kink in between. Good worldbuilding. Supportive secondaries, Simon's family and friend Ari and Victor's best friend, Artemis. An enjoyable, quick read . Artemis' book is next.... with two omega doms. That sounds like fun. I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my review.
I have been enjoying MM Farmer’s darker side with this Omegas After Dark series.
I definitely felt for Simon and his internal struggle with what he feels and the societal pressures of how he should feel. This element made the story emotional as well as relatable so many readers, I imagine. Simon and Victor are well suited in this way. Victor wasn’t always the best alpha and man and admits he mistreated omegas in the past. Victor has made steps to try to be better and to help people who need it. But he still craves the dominance over an omega and the master/slave dynamic but he does not want to mistreat Simon. He too, has an internal struggle of what he wants/desires/craves and what he thinks is right.
I did enjoy the dynamic and chemistry between Simon and Victor. This one is definitely the spiciest of the three in the series! However, I felt like there was a lot going on in the action department. At about 75% I was kind of over it and just ready for the story to be done. Despite this I am still looking forward to continuing the story.
[I received an ARC of this book from GGR and this is my honest review.]
Simon decided to go for his dark fantasy Simon had finally given in and gone on the app for dark fantasies club. His brother Hayden had told him all about it, in fact, Hayden told him far too much information about what happened in his fantasy. But when he seen Victor at his brothers party in knew he had to follow his needs, and wants Victor had used the app many many times and left him feeling hollow, but for some reason he decided to go back on. And this is where he found Simon who wanted to be used like a slave. But what would happen when these two came together?? I enjoyed this book. There was a lot going on for Victor with his family company. he had learnt some things and he needed to get his uncle out of power.. From the first moment that Victor saw Simon, he knew that this week would be different. It was like he couldn’t hold back. He wanted Simon with a passion and Simon, who is an omega Felt he should not give into his fantasies. But as soon as Victor touched him,, he knew he was in his element. Super excited for next book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
“You belong to me now, boy,” I told him, pulling him through the door and out toward the parking lot. “You will call me ‘Master’, because that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I’m going to master you in every way.”
I've always loved the Bangers and Mash series, but so far I might be loving this series a little bit more. Great world building and wonderful characters. I liked that Simon took charge of what he desired and signed up for his first Fantasy. And even though it would make me cringe if I was in that position, I liked that he was able to talk to his brother a bit at the beginning- even if he didn't want to and Hayden was happy for him. I loved both Simon and Victor. The chemistry between the two of them was hot! What Simon wanted from an alpha wasn't what I usually care to read, but I really loved it here. I liked how Victor's view of what the experience meant to him changed as he grew feelings for Simon and the two really made a perfect match. It was a journey for both and suspenseful in dealing with Victor's family. This ended up being one of my favorites in this series. 5 stars.
Simon decides to do what his brother did and signed up on the website for a fantasy he wants for the week. He picks Victor as the alpha for his fantasy but Victor doesn’t realize who Simon really is and that he has seen him at Simon’s brother’s house until his uncle accuses him of kidnapping an omega that is the brother of the one his uncle had kidnapped. Simon admits it then he tells Victor what he can do to get the uncle back and his brother’s husband tells the cop the real story about that kidnapping and they had bonded so the detective knew the story was wrong. Victor asks his cousin to help him with her father, Simon’s father’s help Victor change the bylaws so the uncle could be taken out, the changes were all highlighted except for one. His cousin had the two voted out Victor and her father but she hadn’t seen the bylaw that if he was outed he could start a business the same as one of theirs and she couldn’t stop him.

Wanting to be a sex slave was something that omega Simon desired most of all. But he felt so wrong in feeling like that because modern omegas weren’t submissive and were assertive. Simon wasn’t like that. He wanted to be used, humiliated and treated like a slave. Signing up for a Dark Fantasies Club experience. The alpha he chose was someone who had caught his eye and now he had the opportunity to play out his deepest desires.
Victor is trying to change from his old ways. His past included abusing omegas in play settings and not treating them like he should. But stress relief has him doing playtime with a delicious smelling omega. From the first scent a bond started forming between them. The first few days of play were glorious for both until Victor’s uncle starts making trouble for him. Events happen that draw Victor and Simon closer together until the bond is complete,
Low angst, med high heat, kinks that might put some people off.

This is the third book in the series “Omega After Dark”. I am usually a bit OCD about reading in order but it sounded like I could jump right in with this one….I did and it was great. The previous characters do show up and you’re told more than enough about them to understand what is going on if you didn’t read the first two like me. If you did read the first two I am sure you will enjoy this one as well. It all revolves about a sexy “app” where you can fulfill your sexy fantasies. This is all set in a omegaverse that actually has evolved to giving Omega’s all kinds of freedom. Simon is the quiet Omega with subby desires and Victor is the Alpha with strong dominant traits. Let’s say they come together like fire and quickly it turns into something even more than a forbidden desire. I loved both of these MC’s and all the side characters. It is one HOT book. I highly recommend this book. Enjoy!
I have enjoyed this series so far, and I highly recommend the whole series. I really enjoyed this book where Simon has joined the Dark Fantasies Club to live his fantasy of being the slave to Vincent Woodbury who is part owner of Victory Holdings. They both start their fantasy and three days in Victor discovers that his uncle is trying to shut him out from the business. it kind of gets really exciting from here with they are fleeing for their lives and trying to keep Victor in the business. Simon wants to have Victor as his master permanently which is made possible by the bond that they have developed between the two of them. Everything moves forward and eventually Victor resigns from the business and sells most of his shares and Simon and Victor are married and go onto live happily ever after hopefully.

I've never read this author before, but reading the blurb and the title was enough for me to pick up this book, and I was so glad. I really, really enjoyed this. In my opinion, there's not enough TPE dynamics, and I greedily hoard everyone I can get my hands on. I loved Simon and Victor's relationship. I loved how they jumped in, even with their doubts. The kink scenes were great, and the corporate espionage had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the world-building too. I know that this world came from a previous series, but I hadn't read it. It didn't matter. I was able to follow everything. I also always find it interesting when omega rights go to the other extreme, where culture tries to compensate for the past so much that being submissive becomes shameful. Seeing them battle that, and learning that he wasn't as alone as he thought, was beautiful. I highly recommend and can't wait for Artemis' book!
There was a lot that I really liked about this book. Simon and Victor had brilliant chemistry from the outset and things between them just got steamier and sweeter the more I read. I thought they were very well matched and I liked how the plot was interwoven within their dynamic- it wasn't like they had their fantasy experience and then something happened. I enjoyed seeing some familiar faces from the previous two stories I the HEA for the couple made me smile. The final twist at the end regarding Victor's job was surprising but I think I'd have preferred that there was either less or more detail about his future plans rather than the glossed over summary of what had happened within the company since the drama (this comment probably won't make sense unless you've read it, I just couldn't think of how else to word it!). Overall though, this is a great, dark mm romance with plenty of steam.
Merry Farmer continues delving into the dark with this series and this one hit me in the feels so hard. I empathize with Simon so much because the omega rights that he talks about parallel our fight for rights for women in real life. He so wants to uphold what all of the older generations had fought for. Neither Simon nor Victor feel good about what they most desire at the beginning of this story, but like a lot of us we still want it. I like the way Ms. Farmer has of taking current trends and fitting them into a story about alphas and omegas in an alternate earth. Her books, even the lighter ones, have always had something to say about society and how we interact with each other. This series does have a higher angst level and a greater amount of heat so be warned. They still are terrific reads and I have enjoyed reading them.
This book is very spicy. So, spicy. This is an alpha/omega relationship with strong Dom/sub and BDSM elements. Be warned. This may not be for everyone. But I loved it. This is definitely a page turner. The dynamic between the two characters was perfect. It’s about knowing who and what you are and being true to yourself. There is also an underlying story that starts in the previous books and continues in this installment. While this can definitely be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the other two books first. This book also sets the stage for book 4 in the series. We’re introduced to one of the next characters and there’s story elements that are left unresolved. Our main couple does get a HEA.

Victor and Simon are matched on a kink app. Both feel the visceral need for Master/slave play, but they also feel somewhat apprehensive because society sees it as demeaning and holding power over others. I loved that they were both able to ease each other's mind about that aspect and realize they're absolutely perfect for each other. Seeing them recognize the bond forming between them and nurturing it was beautiful. There is some sense of danger as Victor is vying for ownership of his family company with his uncle making things very uncomfortable for him and Simon being caught in the whirlwind of it all. Even more proof of how perfect their bond is, the fact that Simon and his family are experts in business law. The epiloge was beautiful and I can't wait for Artemis's story.
