Caring for those nearing the end of their lives

This book is very helpful! I believe everyone, and especially Catholic, would benefit from reading it. It concerns end-of-life issues that we all will face in our own lives and most probably with those we love.
The author makes a very good case that Physician Assisted Suicide would not be an option people would choose if they were accompanied by and treated by a Palliative Care team that upheld the dignity of the life of their patients.
The book describes the benefits of palliative care, and gives examples about how care options are to be carefully considered with the specific situation of each patient in mind.
Great book and very encouraging for those serving as caregivers...
