When John Whitmore unexpectedly started growing at forty-one years of age, he understood that bad things can happen when you become oddly different. But when total strangers started spreading distortions and lies, the obvious physical constraints of his rapidly increasing size became only one of his concerns. How can it be otherwise when social media makes you the target of unwanted attention and you’ve become too famous? John, however, did not face his troubles alone. He had a caring wife, two great children, a best bro, and an attentive personal physician. A fam. His squad. With their help and a bigger helping of wit and humor, he soon discovers ways to cope with society’s reaction to his bizarre affliction. When there’s nowhere left to hide, you might as well turn the tables, get involved, and go on the attack. With everybody and everything being fair game.
Fascinating plot, good characters with lots of variety. I enjoyed reading this book. However, there were some misspellings and word choice errors: Reverand instead of Reverend and ratchet instead of wretched come to mind right away. Otherwise Too Big is well worth reading.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the book when I started reading it. It definitely kept my interest - strange happening in a persons life but very intriguing to learn the story.
