From the first few scenes of this book, I was so in love with this story. He's for sure a boy obsessed and will do anything to show the heroine that he's all in. She is the president's daughter and had someone betray here in the worst way, so she's very wary to trust anyone and has a hard time breaking out of her comfort zone. The hero is soooooo swoony and so obsessed with her, and he'll do anything to make her feel safe and protected, but also to live life again.
I really adored their romance and how much they fell for each other. The found family aspect of this book was so perfect with the hero's teammates and how fun they were living together. I love this world so much and couldn't recommend picking it up enough!!

What an original story! I can't remember reading a book about such a high profile FMC with an also high-profile (not as high) of an MMC. Well done Lulu! These characters were great. I was able to read this as a standalone but do plan to go back and read Jupiter and Ace's stories as well. I have found myself DYING to know what happened at last year's opening day with Ace LOL. I really enjoyed watching Radley come out of her shell and the mental health rep with her. It goes to show you that if you have the right person in your life supporting you and pushing you that you can overcome more than you think. I LOVED Lux. What a SWEETHEART!! He was so patient and kind and supportive and loving and just everything you would want in a partner. I am curious to see how he showed in other books. It didn't seem like he was this reformed playboy but that he had previous experience but never with a girlfriend. I loved the touch her and die vibes. I loved how he was protective of Radley but also let her do her thing. I loved how he pushed her and helped her security detail recognize when she was going through something. He helped her realize her strength which was AWESOME!! I did enjoy the pace of this one. It was realistic- boy meets girl, they start texting, then going on dates and things evolved. I liked that there wasn't a lot of drama per say but more internal conflict.
Radley is in one of the most unique situations a person can be in. She is the daughter to the President of the United States, and she has decided to venture out and go to Columbia. Her guard is up because of a traumatic experience she just had with a guy. She is moving forward day by day but currently has constant shadows in the best way. She is comfortable with her bubble until it gets popped by a hottie with a body. Said hottie shows back up and is determined to get to know her while seeming to not really know who she is. Should she trust him? Let him in? That didn't go well for her last time- but there is something about this guy that seems different. So she gives him an in. And slowly but surely he helps bring down her walls. He helps her see how amazing she is and all of the things she can accomplish if she puts her mind to it. Oh and did we mention that he is an outfielder for the local baseball team who her family happens to hate because they are die hard Phillies fans? But he doesn't seem to pay attention to the noise- instead focusing on Radley. But will all of these things stand when she runs back into the one guy who ruined everything for her? Will she trust Lux completely how he is for her?
Lux is on cruise control. Baseball season just ended, and he wants to go on vacation with his boys. But he can't stop thinking about the honey eyed bombshell he saw at the bookstore. The same one he ran into in a hilariously embarrassing way again. He reached out but hasn't heard anything back until he does. And now he is feeling all kinds of things in his chest. He is excited and shy and hopeful and encouraged. This girl who seems to not care one bit about his level of fame because guess what hers is HIGHER. He hates how she closes in on herself sometimes. He wants her to recognize all that she can do. So he gives off touch her and die vibes while also building her up. He makes it his mission for her to feel safe with him and smile with him and all of the things. But will he be able to keep himself in check when they run into the bane of her existence? Bad press wouldn't be good for either of them.
I highly recommend this one if you want to smile and laugh while falling in love with these two falling in love. Like I said I have not read anything else of hers but BOY I can't wait.

Lulu always writes the swooniest heroes and I swear I eat them up every single time. Every single time. And Lux Weston is the soonest of them all... and yes, I know she wrote Jupiter Reeves and I still stand by this. Lux is in a whole different tier.
When a man (unknowingly) attacks a secret service agent for a girl and literally tells her " I licked it so it's mine" you know he is an absolute keeper. This man is 11/10... no notes. perfection.

Radley and Lux meet in a bookstore where neither of them recognize each other, but both feel a spark. He is a professional baseball player and she is the President's daughter. When they run into each other a second time, he accidentally attacks her protection detail thinking that he is saving her. It's the most precious thing to ever happen, and I knew from that point on that I was going to eat this book up.
And eat it up I did. Radley is a great FMC and I instantly wanted to protect her from the world, she has demons and is trying to overcome trauma, and Lux is there every step of the way as she begins to take her life back and figure out what she wants. The way he cares for her made me kick my feet with giddiness and absolutely fall head over heels for this man.
I loved that they were just Lux and Radley to each other, no matter how the rest of the world saw them. I loved the sweet dates, the nicknames and the way that Radley found a place among Lux and his friends.
This books was absolutely adorable, it had all the feels, and seeing Radley overcome her past really healed something in me that I didn't know I needed healing from. I highly recommend this one, and will forever be a Lulu Stan.

Third in the New your lion series and my god I loved it Lux Weston centre field for the New York lions was dream to read bring in Radley the president of the United States daughter it made me not want to put it down read it within 24th our of getting my hands on it.
Both main characters you will love you also get to see the other young lions ace tanner and parker there relationship is fantastic the banter between them all made me lol, Loved how there relationship developed
Radley bf Millie she is one sassy girl loved her banter with Tanner and my god the secret service character don’t think i have smile more read there parts
Again lul has written another fantastic book for me it a 5 🌟 read

The Baller is Book 3 in The New York Lions series, and while it happens in the off season, there is still a strong team dynamic. The banter and antics between Lux, Parker, Tanner and Ace are unmatched. My perma grin was in full effect the entire time.
Lux meets Radley in a bookstore and the attraction is immediate. It turns out that she is the First Daughter and hilarity ensues in one of my favorite scenes with her Secret Service detail.
Radley is attending Columbia University with her best friend Millie. She’s had a rough couple of years and is trying to take back her life while dealing with being in the public eye. Lux is the perfect person to stand by her side while she does it. The man smells and tastes like happiness. He supports and cares for her in a way that doesn’t overshadow the fact that this is her journey. And Radley? She soars. I had nothing to do with it, but I am so proud of her 🥹
These two are next level SWOON 😌 I tried to think of some clever words to describe how I feel about them, but sometimes simple is best. I love them with all of my heart.
I have too many favorite scenes to list in this limited space, but stay tuned. I will be talking about this one for a long time.

Lulu nails it every single time and this was no different!
I loved the aspect of the presidents daughter and a MLB player. Lux was the absolute cutest when it came to Radley. He didn’t care that she had bodyguards around her all the time, he just wanted to get to know her better.
These two were meant for one another. It was a delicious slow burn and when the spice hit, it was so good.

This book was so good, but so good that it's now my favorite book of all time, and I won't allow anyone to speak bad of it. I used to think that Lulu couldn't write a better book than the previous one, but here I am eating my words and afraid that the next one will be even better.
The story of Lux and Radley is one of those that you want to keep reading forever. It's one of those beautiful relationships that make you sigh, and believe me, while I was reading I had a constant smile on my face because of how lovely they were. She, being the daughter of the President of the United States, and he, a baseball player during the offseason...unlikely couple? Let's just say yes but they meet in the most beautiful way and reunite in the funniest way too, honestly, I need the author to write my life and create my own Lux Weston (sorry, Jupiter, you've been dethroned), because that man is everything good in life.
One thing that enchanted me was their incredible support network that they had, their friends played a crucial role throughout the story, and I loved every minute spent reading about them.
There's no unnecessary drama, and that's what I loved. Just two people getting to know each other, falling in love, and being happy. It made me happy, made me dream, and made me fall in love. They're soulmates, the kind of couple you know will last until the end of time, and I'm here for it.
Okay, I might be a little (okay, a lot) fan here, but I simply loved it with all my heart.

La historia de Lux y Radley son de esas que quieres seguir leyendo y leyendo de por vida, es de esas relaciones tan bonitas que solo te la pasas suspirando y créanme que mientras leía solo tenía una sonrisa por lo hermoso que eran. Ella siendo la hija de la presidenta de los Estados Unidos y él siendo un beisbolista en temporada baja ¿pareja improbable? digamos que si, pero se conocen de la manera más hermosa y se reencuentran de la manera mas chistosa también, a ver que yo necesito que la autora me escriba la vida y me escriba a mi propio Lux Weston (lo siento Jupiter, te han destronado) porque ese hombre es todo lo bueno que hay en la vida.
Una cosa que me encanto es la increíble red de apoyo que tienen los dos, sus amigos fueron una parte primordial de toda la historia y amé cada minuto leyéndolos.
No hay drama y eso me encanto, solo dos personas conociéndose y enamorándose y siendo felices y eso señores me hizo feliz, me hizo soñar y me hizo enamorarme. Los dos son almas gemelas, son esa pareja que sabes que durarán hasta el final de los tiempos y aquí estoy para ello.

I couldn't put this down, as these two were just perfect. My book girls, this story is for all of you. The book dates and a man who reads pride and prejudice. Lulu wrote such a fun, sweet, and beautiful story on mental health. Lux was a caregiver and such a gentleman. Radley, the once quiet girl, riddled with so much hurt and pain, was able to find inner strength and gain her life back. These two had wonderful communication, love, respect, and patience towards each other. I teared up, laughed, and left with the biggest smile on my face. Lux and Radley became my favorite in the Luluverse.

Obsessed ❤️🔥 I loveeee this book so much 😭
This is the third book in the New York Lions series, and it's probably my favorite one so far.
We meet Lux and Radley in this one, and their chemistry is instantaneous.
I love how sweet and caring Lux was with Rad. He showed her from the moment they met the type of guy he was. Their official meet-cute is hilarious, and from there on, we have fun banter, sweet moments, and sexy times.
Radley was such a unique character in that she's recovering from a traumatic event in her life and needs to get better by herself and put herself first, and I like how patient Lux was and didn't rush her. I also love that LOVE was not the cure for everything but a tool to get better.
In the same way that i like that, we got to see therapy sessions and that they felt real.
As per usual with Lulu, the side characters were amazing and played their part in the story. My favorite was special agent America because I love grumpy characters, but everyone was amazing.

LUX IS MY NEW STANDARD
If I thought I loved the first two books, this one was PERFECT.
Lux was never a character that I was excited to know more about (idk why, to be honest). But once I started reading his story, I knew it would be my favorite book in the series. Firstly, they meet in a BOOKSTORE - did I need to say more or are you convinced already?
This book brought to the tablet a few important topics about mental health, and I loved the way Lulu aboard the theme.
The couple was completely perfect with an indescribable chemistry, and I loved the way Lux treated Radley.
It’s the slowest burn book in the series, but the wait was so worth it. The way we meet the characters deeply and how we start to love them together and individually make the book even better.
I loved the setting in this book - WE HAVE THE WHITE HOUSE, GUYS!
It’s also fast-paced in the best way, and it’s a book that you do not want to finish EVER. I would read about this couple forever.
Radley’s family was so funny and the security team scenes were some of my favorite parts.
I want a Holiday book btw!
I can’t wait to read more about these characters and this team and I’m so excited for the next book.

If I thought I loved the first two books, this one was PERFECT.
Lux was never a character that I was excited to know more about (idk why, to be honest). But once I started reading his story, I knew it would be my favorite book in the series. Firstly, they meet in a BOOKSTORE - did I need to say more or are you convinced already?
This book brought to the tablet a few important topics about mental health, and I loved the way Lulu aboard the theme.
The couple was completely perfect with an indescribable chemistry, and I loved the way Lux treated Radley.
It’s the slowest burn book in the series, but the wait was so worth it. The way we meet the characters deeply and how we start to love them together and individually make the book even better.
I loved the setting in this book - WE HAVE THE WHITE HOUSE, GUYS!
It’s also fast-paced in the best way, and it’s a book that you do not want to finish EVER. I would read about this couple forever.
Radley’s family was so funny and the security team scenes were some of my favorite parts.
I want a Holiday book btw!
I can’t wait to read more about these characters and this team and I’m so excited for the next book.

::sigh:: the way that I am absolutely in LOVE with Lux and Radley. This book was absolute perfection from the start to the finish. I always had been curious about who Lux would end up with and Radley was just IT for him. They were so sweet together...and the banter was so SO good! I think that Lux was meant to be with someone that understood his lifestyle but also didn't care about it, if that makes sense.
Watching their relationship play out on page was nothing short of amazing and I loved every single second of it. I mean...hello...presidents daughter? It's just spot on.
And let's not forget Jake...LOL...I remember last year Lulu and I talking about this and her saying she was going to put Jake in her book...and she did and I can't stop laughing. My Jake still thinks it's the best thing that has ever happened. ;)

Move aside Jupiter and Ace because Lux “I licked it so it’s mine” Weston has entered the chat 🫠 Seriously, if you loved the first two books in the New York Lions series, then you will fall head over heels in love with Lux!! 😍
This was one of my most anticipated releases and to get to read the ARC was so special! This book was everything I hoped it would be AND MORE!! I am firmly in my ✨ Luluverse Era ✨ and I have zero plans on ever leaving it!!
First up, Radley was such a freaking badass!! I loved how her brothers teased her about that, but she truly was. Her confidence got knocked in the worst possible way, and it hurt my heart to see her struggling with normal college girl things. But she was so damn strong, and I loved watching her grow into herself and get her confidence back. I loved how patient Lux was with her, he didn’t push her but he just stood by her side and encouraged her.
Lux is definitely one of my favourites of Lulu’s MMCs (don’t worry Drew and Oz, you’re still up there too 😉) But Lux has definitely burrowed his way into my heart 🫶🏼 He’s such a caretaker, always cooking for the guys and standing up for Radley, but I also loved his goofy side 🤪
Their relationship was so sweet 🥹 Starting out with the Bookstore Meet Cute, and just the gentle way Lux pursued Radley. He was so considerate of her feelings and her past, and once she let him in, he fell hard and fast! 🫠
Millie was such an amazing friend. That girl would have fought anyone who tried to hurt her girl, and I just loved the bond they shared. I’m so excited for her to get a book (hopefully with a certain player 😉) because I just NEED more of her in my life!!
Casa Greyskull banter was top tier *cough* Glitter Bomb *cough* I love all of these boys so much! As usual, the found family was amazing, and I loved seeing the little snippets of what Tanner and Parker’s books might include! 😍 The Luluverse all ties in together so well, and I just loved that we got to see Kitt as a professor and Barclay doing his Bat Dog thing!! 😍

We start this book with the sweetest little meet cute. Radley is trying to reach for a book, and a tall handsome stranger helps her get it. "that voice- a deep baritone vibrating over my skin caused tiny electrical pulses, bringing me to life." This is certainly no frat boy. As luck would have it, Lux sees this girl again, eyes the color of fall, lips like summer peaches. Lux shoots his shot, and fails, until he tries to stop a campus creeper from following Radley, only for him and the guys to land on their asses by the Secret Service.
We already knew that Lux was a caregiver from The Shake Off, always there to feed the guys, helping them with lady problems, an amazing friend. Lux knows Radley has gone through some trauma in her life, and the way he is with her is so sweet, and romantic, giving her the space she needs to feel safe and comfortable with him is really special. I love that she made the first move "I didn't know someone could taste like happiness, but that is exactly what it was when my lips pressed into hers, smile on smile."

Ahhhh I really enjoyed this book! It was the sweetest read that I absolutely needed!The LuluVerse is one of my favourites; it seamlessly links together and I love all Lulu’s characters so much.
This book follows Lux, pancake connoisseur at Casa GreySkull and Radley, the First Daughter. They have the absolute sweetest meet-cute in their favourite book store and they have an instant connection. The interactions that follow lead to a laugh out loud scene involving Radley’s security detail!
I really enjoyed this; it was super cute and fun, low angst. The main characters were the best match for each other. Lux was an absolute sweetheart, building the most genuine friendship with Radley. He was so focused on keeping her comfortable, safe and gaining her trust. He was so thoughtful and he portrayed this so well through his actions; the dates were just 😍😍😍 I loved Radley so much; she is on a personal growth journey, finding herself amongst the chaos of past trauma and being in the public eye. Her growth and development was such a lovely journey to read and I was absolutely living for the support and love from Lux.
As expected with Lulu’s work, the banter was epic between the GreySkull boys; they have such a strong dynamic and despite their shenanigans, their support and love for each other never waivers.
I’m so excited for book 4; the sneak peak was everything!

I’m not sure why but this age gap felt strange to me, the fmc was almost described like a very sheltered child, which maybe was the point, but I just didn’t vibe with it. I get the character arc of the fmc but this story just felt a bit overly cheesy and I didn’t think Lux had much of a personality. Just a bit bored and felt it was a tad cheesier than I’m used to. An easy read and it was fine. Some great friend moments when they weren’t over the top. One of my pet peeves came back in full force in this one (characters crying laughing at jokes that didn’t seem that funny or warranted that kind of reaction in my opinion.)

Radley and Lux are the PERFECT addition to the Luluverse! I completely swooned the entire time.
The Luluverse is such a magical place and one of my favorite fictional worlds to come back to. Radley and Lux fit seamlessly together and added so much depth to this world.
Radley and her struggles broke my heart, but the way her anxiety and panic attacks were depicted, and the way therapy and support were shown made me emotional. Lux was incredibly supportive in her healing journey and a pillar of calm strength for Radley. He was perfect, and I’ll hear nothing else. I love this man. He was a total caretaker who constantly showed his love in any way he could.
From the first interaction, you could see the chemistry. Radley’s unique situation makes dating more challenging, but Lux didn’t let it deter him. Their journey of getting to know one another through texts, dates, and friendship was so well-rounded that I believed in their love. We love to see a healthy, supportive couple with amazing communication.
As always, the friendships and found family that Lulu writes about were TOP TIER. Their dynamic and support are so strong, I cant wait for Parker and Tanners HEA.

Have you ever wanted to read a book where two people just instantly connect and have such a beautiful relationship??? This is it.
This is the third book in the New York Lions series and you can read it as a standalone!
This book was giving me all the vibes from that late 90’s Disney movie My Date with the President’s Daughter!! I had so much fun reading it and I absolutely giggled my entire way through!
Lulu’s books are always ones I can binge read because I just fall in love with the couple and world she creates!
I have loved Lux throughout this series, and loved getting to have his book!! We love a guy that reads, cooks, and is willing to (unknowingly) take on the secret service to save you!
I loved Radley. I loved how she found her spark and confidence throughout this book.
I loved how these two just went together so perfectly. They both loved pancakes, would show up to dates accidentally matching, they both loved to read, they both had such fun fashion sense, and I loved them both so much!

“I’m a Lux fan”

I feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to read this wonderful book early, thank you Lulu. There are so so many things I could say, but I don't want to spoil any of the very best bits, so just make sure you read this as soon as you can!
Whilst The Baller can absolutely be read as a stand alone, if you've read The Shake Off you may have had an idea that Lux would be the next New York Lions player to get a book. His girl is none other than Radley Andrews- daughter of the US President- who has moved to New York to study. Given who her mother is, she is accompanied by her 24/7 security team too.....who cause a little bit of confusion when Lux first meets Radley and notices them!
Radley hasn't had the easiest few years, so this is a fresh start for her. She is really likable from the start- I couldn't help but feel drawn to her. She is very relatable and I think we all can identify with some of her feelings and struggles. I loved watching her growth and how much stronger she became. Lux was amazing at supporting her, and her BFF Millie is very funny- a great side character, I really hope she gets a book too!
Lux is such a sweetheart and gets more and more swoony as this story goes on. As well as his and Radley's relationship, I also liked how his relationship with her bodyguards developed too. He gave me Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift's bodyguard vibes! Their code names and book store dates were perfection.

The Baller is (to put it lightly) a MASTERPIECE!
Lux and Radley were EVERYTHING!!! I loved them so much!
I swear Lulu writes the best men! I need her to write me a man!! Sometimes I find in a lot of series the men can feel the same but every damn time Lulu Moore slaps us with another completely different (and completely swoon worthy) man!
If you know me you know I’m obsessed with this series so please please please read it! You will not regret it!!!

i’m really struggling to articulate how this book makes me feel. i have only positive thoughts so let’s start there. as my first lulu moore book i didn’t have any prior expectations or experience going in, but as i’ve finished, i KNOW ill be reading the rest of the series.

a primary focus of this book is the anxiety that the main female character has. this is it to say that it’s not portrayed well, rather, i would actually say it was extremely realistic and relatable, and in no way romanticized (which sometimes can be found in romance books). instead, it follows a very real journey of someone who is working on their anxiety or is recovering from some sort of personal battle.
the journey that radley takes in the story, is extremely inspiring, and - from the perspective of someone who struggles with a daily anxiety - it is really nice to see a proper form on representation, along with showcasing what it is like to have a good support system in struggling with mental health.
now, i wouldn’t say this is the entire plot of the story which (if you were hesitant about reading this book because of that) i think you would still enjoy it for the story that it has. you have found family, it is very funny, and the characters that you meet are ones that you just can’t help but fall in love with.
truly I could talk about this book forever, but I will leave you with this: it was fantastic. i absolutely recommend it and i absolutely absolutely absolutely cannot wait for tanner‘s book, and to go back and meet all of the other characters.

We have retuned to one of my favourite sports romance series’ The New York Lions, this time following the adorable story of Lux and Radley.
Radley is the US Presidents daughter and has moved to NYC to study and build a life for herself, which is a challenge with being who she is, an incident which has caused her family to become extra protective and being followed around by four Secret Service Agents.
Lux and Radley meet in a bookshop and Lux becomes instantly smitten…and as the situation involves the New York Lions’ boys, it becomes out of control and is absolutely hilarious.
Radley really is a badass!!! Strong and brave, despite everything - I loved that she overcame what she was dealing with bit by bit and was able to lean on not only her bestie Millie, but Lux and the other boys.
Lux was just such a softie - he was just right for Radley and there when she needed him steadfast and comforting! What a man 😍
The anxiety represenation in this book was so relatable, which can sometimes can be so hard to get right - but to be able to read those feelings was in fact quite comforting.
Each and every time I read one of Lulu’s books, it is better than the last!
I have thoroughly enjoyed being back with the boys, the banter and antics were on point as always!! Loved catching up with what’s happening in their world and can’t wait to get back there and see who’s Happily Ever After is next.
Radley is the US Presidents daughter and has moved to NYC to study and build a life for herself, which is a challenge with being who she is, an incident which has caused her family to become extra protective and being followed around by four Secret Service Agents.
Lux and Radley meet in a bookshop and Lux becomes instantly smitten…and as the situation involves the New York Lions’ boys, it becomes out of control and is absolutely hilarious.

However, fate is on his side with this one. Both dragged to the dive bar by friends, their paths cross again. He knows he isn’t leaving without talking to her again but their interaction doesn’t go as planned. See the reason she looks so familiar is because she’s the president’s daughter and he just interfered with her security team..not his best decision but it does land him her number so totally worth it. The two get close but run into their fair share of issues as an MLB center fielder and president's daughter trying to date while keeping a low profile.
Lux is so protective over Radley from the moment they meet, even before he learns about her cumbersome past and it is the most precious thing ever. His support and comfort help to give her the security to heal and grow from her past trauma on her own and it is completely empowering to read. The relationship between Lux and Radley, while deep and healing, was also such a sweet, fun romance. The cuteness of these two had me smiling from ear to ear throughout this read. Like always, Lulu keeps me obsessed and wanting more from this universe. I can’t wait for book 4!

This is my first book of Lulu and I'm so exited to write this review because it was THE BEST BOOK OF BASEBALL EVER.
I've laugh, I've loved, and even cry.

A masterpiece! It’s giving My Date With The President’s Daughter if it was written for the female gaze and with so much more funny moments.
Lux is the perfect mix of sweet, spicy and hilarious. AND he’s in a bookstore when they meet. After their meet cute, he can’t get her out of his head. When they run into each other again at a bar, it’s fate and his teammates are along for the ride.
Hadley is rightfully timid. She’s the president’s daughter and can’t live a normal life without being taken advantage of. She doesn’t want to let Lux in but he earned the right for her to consider him. I love how she represents the everyday struggle with mental health. She’s everything and I adore her.
I flew through this and didn’t want it to end. Lulu has such a way with words that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy.

This was a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure I'd like Lux based on the beginning of this book, but he turned out to be a great mmc. Not quite Isaiah Rhodes status, but that's the top of the baseball MCs for me now.
Lux and Radley had a meetcute that I enjoyed and it was fun reading how their relationship progressed. Radley had some past trauma to work through and Lux was sweet while he helped her through it.
There were a number of little grammatical errors throughout, but I still enjoyed reading this one.

I really like sports books, so I obviously wanted to read this one. I was lucky enough to receive an e-copy thanks to Valentine Pr and Lulu Moore. Thank you!
We get to follow the baseball player, Lux Weston and the president's daughter, Radley Andrews. Their first meet was super cute and funny, in a really cool setting - surrounded by rare books. The funny part is that Radley almost hurt herself while doing some little forbidden things. That's when Lux makes his appearance and there were instant sparkles between them. Even though Radley found him attractive, she had some trauma regarding romance and she was determined to not date anytime soon. But Lux was a very persistent man and he went beyond and above to warm up to her. Including getting his a** kicked to protect Radley - this was such a funny part!
Because Lux was playing baseball, his teammates often made their appearances throughout the story. They were so funny and I enjoyed every single part of their silly interactions. I love when band of boys trope is present in a book. It makes a story really fun to follow. Of course, there were sensitive subjects touched too, mainly about Radley, who had to face multiple things - the fame of her mother and the responsibilities which came with that and an older trauma, caused by her former boyfriend.
I just love the protectiveness shown by Lux for Radley. It was that good, positive kind and that helped Radley find herself again. He also supported her and was always ready to offer her the most beautiful and amazing words and advice. He truly believed in her strength and was decided to help her in any way he could.
So, this book definitely won me and it made me have a great time while reading it. For me, the characters played a major part in this story and stole my heart, Each of them bringing something different to the hole vibe of this book.

radley's first boyfriend was someone she was madly in love with, enough to accept any and every attention that came with it; however, that quickly changes when he decides to leak her private pictures online. turns out that they weren't the only ones that would experience their first time together. for years after that, radley had to live with the nightmare and embarrassment of other men harassing her for those pictures which in return, made her trust fall into the depths of all that was left of dignity within herself.
lux weston is a famous baseball player, someone that is willing to sacrifice anything for the people he loves; weston didn't have much of a family growing up and that changes when he finds himself surrounded by his teammates, his brothers. everything changes in his life on a random afternoon at brown when he's trying to help this random girl that caught his eyes.
lux and radley's story is a slow one, patient, yet kind. there isn't a single time where he forces her into crossing the boundaries she's not yet ready to; but he supports and cheers her all the way through, igniting in her a hope that had been long lost due to the atrocities she had to face by herself. radley is not only in a healing journey but also finding herself and the things she lost before, giving chances to things that she would never have experienced were it not for the faith of the people that surrounded her. at the end, she wasn't something easily broken or fragile like a flower, but she was strong and resilient as a bomb.

The Baller is the third book in the interconnected standalone series by Lulu Moore. This is a fun baseball romance series that I’ve had the best time with! While this one is less baseball-centered (takes place during the off season), the romance was the sweetest between the baseball player hero and the heroine who happens to be the U.S. President’s daughter!
Radley and Lux first meet at a bookstore when she almost falls grabbing down a book and he steadies her fall. He is immediately smitten with her but she ends up taking off quickly, so when he runs into her again later in the night he makes sure not to miss out on getting her phone number! Since Radley is the President’s daughter, she has secret service protection detail assigned to her and has been working through her feelings on that while attending Columbia. The romance is very sweet and easy and things fall into place for them quickly. He definitely falls first and we get some cute moments like their running dates, spending time working out at the Lions gym together, and his nickname of Goldilocks for her. Another cute installment to this fun baseball romance series you need to read!
