Truly an underwhelming mystery, but yet I’m still hooked to Jane and Kennedy and Arthur! I think this was a great book of the series character wise. Story wise, it just felt bland.

I gave it a 3 stars because I was extremely excited to see both sides of Jane and Kennedys family interact with one another and it was very cool to see!

I also loved that we finally got to hear about a pregnancy for the two! I’m just sad it basically was rushed through the entire first part of the story. We basically only really got to see one full day at the end of the pregnancy. I was looking forward to having at least something.

But overall, I’m hoping to have more Jane and Kennedy and little Morgan eventually!

Discovered On Easter is a fantastic addition to Daisy Landish’s collection. It’s an enjoyable read that will definitely leave you wanting more; I know I’ll be returning for sure.

Jane and Kennedy are expecting a baby and wanted to create something memorable for Easter, so they decide to host a murder mystery dinner party for their entire family. The excitement kicks off as everyone starts hunting for clues when suddenly, a scream pierces the air. Jane and Kennedy immediately realize that the scream is genuine and not part of their mystery dinner party.

They rush to investigate the source of the scream, only to discover a real dead body in the shed alongside a fake one. It seems someone has been murdered on their property. Jane and Kennedy must race against time to uncover the identity of the murderer before one or both of them are implicated in the crime.

I’m eagerly looking forward to diving into more of the Jane and Kennedy Daniels Mysteries to see what thrilling mystery they encounter next.

I wholeheartedly recommend picking up a copy of Discovered on Easter today! I also suggest any book by Daisy Landish!

I was gifted this book by a friend who assured me I would love it as I love most cozy mysteries. Well, it was ok, but I didn't love it. Let me explain. First off it was short, just under 50 pages and the crime isn't mentioned until over the half way point. That meant the entire thing was rushed and tied up too neatly and not much of a mystery at that. Next, it could have used some editing. And I'm not talking differences of vocabulary and phrasing British English vs American English. There were several times when describing a female character, the gender switched to male, (Denise had changed after his mother left her...) and that's only one example. But those kinds of errors distracted me from the story. On the positive side, I enjoyed the characters from the main ones to their families and friends we meet. Perhaps with a little more time spent solving the crime and better editing, it could have been more enjoyable for me. That said, I'll be happy to give MS Land ish another try.

Discovered on Easter (Jane and Kennedy Daniels Mysteries Book 5), my twelfth enjoyable short (49 page) read from author Daisy Landish that I finished in under an hour. The fifth in her Jane and Kennedy Daniels Mysteries. “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author, next up Arrested on Boxing Day (Jane and Kennedy Daniels Mysteries Book 2). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018.

A homicidal murder mystery?

An Easter holiday gathering at Kennedy and Jane" 's house takes a serious turn when their murder mystery dinner becomes too homicidal. They wanted a fun get-together for family and friends before the birth of their child but instead, there is a new case to solve.

I wish the Kennedy and Jane novellas were full-length books. I went rainy them but they are or too soon. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

I love these Jane and Kennedy stories and this is no exception. A good short story, lovely characters, a murder to solve, this time in their own backyard and then there's a baby too. If you like good, clean, easy to read mysteries then you'll enjoy this, I did, and look forward to more.

Daisy Landish has made this series absolutely fantastic, my favourite couple Jane and Kennedy , their relationship is wrote so well it simply flows , here’s my review
Awesome! Jane and Kennedy Daniels are thrilled to be adding to their little family , so as Easter was coming up , what better celebration to have than a murder mystery theme dinner party to gather their whole family and friends together. The only trouble is nothing is ever that straightforward where the pair are concerned so why did they think they’d escape the drama this time? With a dead body in the shed and the whole dinnerparty guests list as suspects ,what are the girls to do…..great writing as always from Daisy Landish
