Paxton
Bugs. Well, beetles, but it doesn’t matter because they keep disappearing. Poof. Insects, bugs, or just creepy crawlies, Paxton doesn’t care what they’re called because they’re the most fascinating creatures he’s ever seen, and as an entomologist, that’s saying a lot. But since he’s currently in the most frustrating town he’s ever seen, there might be a connection.

Fraser
Bugs. Fraser is fascinated by the adorable bug doctor who’s running around town digging in the dirt and playing with bugs. He also agrees with the rest of the nuts in town that Paxton has to be a little. But there’s one big question on everyone’s mind. Does Paxton know he’s not as vanilla as he seems to think he is?

When the bugs are vanishing and the locals are perplexing, falling in love just might be the easiest part of Paxton’s magical discoveries.

This story of how Paxton and Fraser met and fell in love was typical of the craziness that exists in this series. The people in the town were suitably crazy and made me laugh out loud several but as did the two littles who invited themselves for an impromptu tea party and their cum observations. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Funniest series yet!

I am a 50 years old vanilla, straight, married (for 37 years) mother and grandmother who is so in love with this series it's scary. I have always believed to each his own in politics, love and life in general. Even if I was slightly homophobic I would still read this series for the shear enjoyment of laughing out loud that I get from almost every page. I enjoy sarcasm and using it to make life less stressful just as this author does in every way with this series. Even the sex scenes have a humorous undertone that makes the entire "scene" worth reading. This is a lighthearted and easy pick me up read after a long week at life. The premise is just crazy enough to lose yourself in but gives you the insight to understand the lessons of trust and unconditional love expressed by the main characters. But my favorites are the nosey townspeople. I live and work in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountain Range and let me tell you, this characterization is spot on. As an "outsider" who moved here from Southern New Jersey, I can relate to believing most of the town must be aliens...lol!

Paxton is an entomologist and his search for a new strange beatle leads him to a small town where more weird things keep happening. The trails in the forest are disappearing and the locals ask him confusing questions.
Fraser agrees to be his guide and help him find his way around the town.
Paxton soon makes many interesting discoveries. Like that Fraser is a dragon shifter and his fated mate.
This book was really really fun. Paxton's confusion was entertaining and I loved his curious mind, he was adorable. I absolutely loved his chemistry with Fraser, they had a great dynamic, it was different.
There was an unexpected twist towards the end of the book regarding the world building. It wasn't resolved but we got some information and I loved everybody's reactions. I can't wait to read the next book and find out what's going on. I'm super intrigued.
The couple's storyline was completed and Paxton and Fraser got their happily ever after.
This was a fantastic addition to the series, I had a fun time reading it.

Wishes and Research was another cute book in the Blue Ridge Magic series. Paxton is a human who is new to the area. He's in town searching for a very unusual type of bug. Fraser is the local wildlife guide who also happens to be a Daddy and a dragon. Both of these facts are big surprises to Paxton, and the magic aspect isn't necessarily the biggest shock to him.

They're adorable and silly together. The confused, nosey older residents of the town are getting even more involved in other people's business than before - but they mean well. They're just really determined to help anyone they perceive as a sub, whether they like it or not. And all of their information comes from Littles or the internet, for all the confusion that causes.

Overall this book is so funny and sweet. There is a big surprise at the end but I wouldn't consider it a cliffhanger because there's nothing dire happening and all of the people in town are doing just fine. There's just some big new things geared up for the next book and I'm looking forward to see where it leads.

I am afraid to ask if the people in town could get any more nosy and weird. The answer is probably yes. The townsfolk are a bit pushy (I’d probably get mad and punch them, not that it would do any good) and the Daddies even more so. Paxton is convinced everyone is just very strange. Talon didn’t really help very much but he does eventually set him straight about everything. Paxton just needed the right person to show him how rewarding being little could be when you find the right Daddy. This series is so sweet it might give you a toothache but it can be a fun little read.

Everything in this story flows without effort.
Fraser knows Paxton is his mate and is willing to do everything to be with his bug doctor.
We see Paxton discover his needs and wants and how they are fullfilled by Fraser so perfectly. How he discovers Fraser is a dragon and that there are mages too living among humans.
And everything is calm, I found this book soothing, because they talked and listened. There`s not any bump in their road to happiness except the weird people they live with.
Till the end, then innes leaves us with hell of a cliffhanger...
So I liked it and want more!

Paxton was so dramatically adorable, and his fascination with the science behind everything in such a magical town was hilarious. The way he treated everything Fraser did as an experiment—complete with hypotheses, theses, and note-taking—was such a creative way for a sub to learn the roles in a new relationship. And Fraser? The fact that he tried so hard to keep up with Paxton's endless questions and wild train of thought just proved they were the perfect match! Because let’s be so for real—Paxton’s mind was ALWAYS working overtime, but Fraser somehow always had the answers.

This was a great addition to the Blue Ridge Magic series. Paxton was quite a bit different from the previous littles, but he was still fun and quirky. Fraser was fascinated by the cute entomologist, and they were a great match.
I've enjoyed every visit to this town full of crazy dragons and mages, and I was excited at the twist near the end of this one. I was also very satisfied with Fraser and Paxton's sexy and funny romance and their sweet HEA.

I love this town! The people who live there are wonderfully nuts, but they are so well intentioned. This book features an entomologist who is chasing down teleporting beetles and the local trail guide. They fall in love while having adventures as they fend off the local little population. I wish we had gotten a peek at Paxton’s reaction to Lorne’s beetle collection, but it is still a fun, cute, silly story with an HEA.

I really enjoyed this book and thought the characters get on well together.

Paxton is fascinated by all things bugs and is on the search for bugs that can disappear in blue ridge.

Like everyone else in town Fraser thinks Paxton is a cute adorable little, but what kind is the question.

Go on a wonderful journey with Paxton and Fraser as they figure out what works for them in their mating.

Another great read in the Blue Ridge series.

Such an adorable story

I really enjoyed this story and having new characters come in play. This was filled with so much cuteness and adorable moments. I got some good laughs as well because these two together, you can’t help but laugh at their moments. I love how both of them come together and really get to know each other along with trying to figure things out.

I am hoping for an update with these two. I want to see more of them and the rest of their friends.

Another Amazing Book

Paxton and Fraser's book is no angst, sweet, steamy, fun, and funny. I love this book as much as the rest of the series ❤️. I loved seeing previous couples and "helpful" locals. I especially loved how being fated mates means they are exactly the perfect person for each other.

TLDR: This book is great you should read it!

Paxton and Fraser were fun to read about. Paxton never having a good relationship, due to his job , Bug Doctor!
He loved the idea of having a daddy who would look after and care for him.
Fraser had been waiting for his mate so did not date . He was amazed that Paxton fell into being his mate and being a little so easily.
Absolutely loved the surprise tea party that was thrushes upon Paxton

3.5 stars ~ definitely my least favorite of the series so far. It could be me, but there were so many times it seemed as if both MCs were littles and I got frustrated. Not to mention the long, loooooong, protracted discussions in the beginning. Ugh.

Enjoyable

I enjoyed Paxton and Fraser’s book. It’s sweet, low angst, and a fun addition to the Blue Ridge Magic series. I’m looking forward to finding out what is happening with the disappearing beetles and the reactivated portal in future books

oh what fun!

I love Paxton and his little middle ish mind. He is such a shy sweetie who has had some stupid boyfriends but his Daddy helps him learn just how perfect he already is.

This is an adorably funny series and I’m super excited to see what’s happening with the portal.

Not my favorite of the series, I wish we were given a bit more depth for the characters. Paxton was cute though and it seems like the book's main aim was to introduce a new plot element. Low angst and comforting like all the books in the series so a nice book to read when I need a break from life.

really liked it

I really liked this book. 4 stars for rating, 2.5 for spice. Seeing the ridiculous townspeople through an outside humans eyes was entertaining. The old folks really need a hobby.

When Fraser rescues to Paxton from the inquisitive town folk, he finds himself becoming a guide to Paxton as he investigates bugs.
But as they spend more time together, Fraser becomes more than guide as he helps Paxton discover new sides of himself as well.

An engaging instalment in this series as we get cameos from previous characters, meddling townspeople, exploring of new kink and a good setup for more in this series.

Book 5 in this paranormal community and apparently the mages messed with nature and have the beetles disappearing. Can't have the humans finding out about that!
