We all have our wars within. There’s always something that gets to us. For me it’s not something I talk about. It’s not something I ever want to deal with. No one needs to know the story.
I figured because of this; I’d live life the way I’ve always done. Free and easy. What I didn’t expect is to find my mate or find that my mate was human.
Finding her out in the middle of the night, on a deserted road, trouble surrounding her, I had to do something. When I did, something inside me shifted. I don’t know what, all I knew was I had to protect her.
Nothing else mattered.
To make matters worse, she was raised by shifters and is the sister to a member of another club. I didn’t know what to do about her. What I won’t do is let her reject me. No way will I let her make assumptions without knowing who I am. What we can be.
Now I’ve got two wars on my hands. The one within. But that’s nothing as important to keeping her safe when she needs me most.

I always love a good PNR romance! I've been loving this series from E.C. Land along with the books from Darlene Tallman that accompany this series!
This book follows Dane who's a bit of a playboy and Raine who is a human in a family of shifters. When Raine's brother Bandit mated her best friend Sloane, she's left feeling like a third wheel.
Raine has recently moved back home in order to escape her ex who's become abusive. When she declines an invite to the clubhouse, she finds herself on her own leading her to be attacked by men her ex have hired. Dane then finds her and discovers Raine is his fated mate. Problem with that? Dane hurt her best friend Sloane leaving her unsure of what she wants to do.
Dane definitely has his work cut out for him to convince Raine he's a changed man and is the one for her. Especially when we find out that Raine isn't completely human like we once thought.
Super excited to see what comes next in the Spiked Raiders MC!

In a world of shifters Raine stands out because she is part human part dream walker. Dane is a full-on wolf shifter and realizes that Raine is his mate. Now all he has to do is convince her that she is made for him. As Dane unravels Raine’s past more questions arise. Raine’s ex has returned to her life so it was up to Dane and the club to help protect her.
This story was packed with action and even though I usually don’t read PNR when it comes to this author, I knew it has to be good.

DANE’S WAR is the third instalment in EC Land’s contemporary, adult SPIKED RAIDERS MC erotic,paranormal, MC romance series. This is wolf shifter and MC Road Captain Dane, and Raine’s story line. The world building focuses on the search for the truth. Raine was adopted as a baby but herein lies a twist to the story, our heroine is more than what she appears to be. With her ex on the hunt, Raine will need the help and protection of the Spiked Raiders MC, protection that threatens the man with whom she will fall in love.
The relationship between Dane and Raine is one of fated mates. As Dane succumbs to the probability of of his own happily ever after, it will take some time to convince our heroine, that he is a changed man. Dane is a wolf shifter, whole Raine stand out as she is part human, and past dream walker, and she is the sister of a member from another club. Dane knows instantly that Raine is his fated mate and will do whatever he must to keep her safe and protected from her past.
This is a well written action packed story, with family, friendships, emotions, suspense, intrigue, undeniable chemistry, PNR romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable, addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Dane came in the nick of x 2 find a women being beaten by 4 men. He saved her. But the unexpected happened she is his mate he didn't think he'd ever find. When he tried 2 find out the truth he learned a few unexpected things 2 and so did she about herself. With trouble coming 4 them cause of her ex what can possibly go wrong especially when they hear the info from the horses mouth sorta speak? Will she accept her bind with him and know what it means? Read and find out. I loved it. There was a few things I didn't quite understand but overall it was awesome!!

This is book three and I am reading the series. This book features Dane, the brother of Karsyn. Dane is a good guy sewing all his wild oats, not wanting to settle down. A surprise for Dane is that Bandit’s little sister Raine is his true mate. This does not make sense to Dane and it takes a minute for his human side to accept Raine. Raine was adopted by Bandit’s parents and she is a human female. Dane meets her as his wolf stops some shady characters from beating her up. Their journey begins there. This was a vital piece in the on going saga off the SRMC story. Dane the player finds his missing piece and boy does Raine come down on Dane like a sledgehammer. You will enjoy the banter and antics of the family, friends and action galore. This story is evolving, so it's important to read in order. A five star, must read. Dane and his crew will provide you with a great time and intriguing mystery. Have fun. Peace out.

I'm trying to figure out how to write this without giving anything away. Dane is a wolf shifter and is waring with his wolf instead of bonding with him.The reason why is because of Raine his mate. She has to accept them, or Dane will go insane. I was not a fan of Raine through the first part of this book. She actually annoyed me. After she got together with Dane, I saw her kinda change. This one had action, drama, romance, and a paranormal twist.

This was an extremely good read. Not my usual genre but I found myself very immersed in the story and the characters and E.C. Land was very thorough with her explanation of shifters and dream walkers. Lots of action, suspense and romance and the chemistry between Dane and Raine was undeniable. Would love to read more in this series as it has really piqued my interest for the Spiked Raiders MC and it’s members.

Her ex did.a number on her and she barely made it out alive but she is now back with her family. Her brother is none too happy when he finds out that Dane is his sister's fated mate, not after how Dane treated Sloane, Bandit's mate.

Dane & Raine
Consuming. I definitely read past my bedtime with this one. I simply couldn’t put it down. There are so many different battles going on in this book. Dane and his wolf, Dane and Raine, good and evil. I wasn’t sure Dane and Raine would actually make it, but wow did they ever. So much happens! It’s dark and stormy and very steamy.

This was a good book. Rainy is sweet but ends up in a terrible relationship. She runs away and is attacked. Dane finds her and saves her. These two were great together. They end up saving each other. I loved the action and the mystery behind what Rainey is. A good read!

Dane was a total dick to Sloane (Bandit’s mate) and the only reason he apologized was because his sister told him to. Total POS. Just because he found his “mate” does not erase all the asshole behavior towards women previous to that.

This was a great third book in the series. Danes story is a little different that the first two books as a curse is involved and a very tough sentence if his mate rejects him.

An excellent paranormal and mc story that ticks all my boxes. Characters are extremely likeable and love that the women are the ones who take the lead on many occasions. Highly recommend reading.

From beginning to end I couldn't put it down. Fate has brought Dane and Raine together and their story is full of mystery. This was a great read.

This story kept me engrossed. The connection between Raine and Dane was strong and wonderful. I enjoyed learning about who and what Raine was along with the changes in Dane. I had tears in my eyes when the connection was fully completed between Raine, Dane, and his wolf. I look forward to the next in this series to see where it goes. I felt that it was well worth the read.
