This was the perfect conclusion to 죽이고 싶은 아이 that I didn't know I needed. As the author says in the note at the end, the tones of the two books are quite different: Book 1 deals with the distinction between lies and truth and is a thriller/mystery. In contrast, book 2 focuses on the aftermath of the murder case, the destruction of people's lives, and how they move forward in the face of such events.

This book was gripping in a different way from the first one. The beginning was more of a mystery, but it shifted into a human drama with elements of the supernatural, mental illness, and the duties we have to ourselves and our families. The characters felt complex and fully realized, with logical dilemmas and difficulties in communicating and making choices, despite the story's unique setup.

I was quite satisfied with the book's conclusion. If you enjoyed book 1, book 2 is a must-read! 5 stars.

Açıkçası ilk kitabı daha çok sevdim ama ikinci kitabında olması gerekiyor gibiydi çünkü ilk kitapta yarım kalmış şeyler ikinci kitapta en azından bir sonuca vardı. Daha çok kore kültürünü yansıtıyordu, özellikle o yemekle ilgili kısımlar. Bunu da izlediğim kore dizilerinden dolayı biliyorum. Ama okurken acaba kitaptaki bir karakter olsaydım, ben hangi tarafta olur, kime inanırdım ya da söyleyeceğim şeyler nasıl olurdu merak ettim. Her gün maceralı bir hayattansa, sade ve normal bir hayatın önemi... Denk gelirseniz okuyun derim. Güzel ve anlamlı bir kitap. Çok yormuyor anlatımı ve aşırı derinlikli bir anlam da yaratmaya çalışmamış bir yazar ama vermek istediği mesajı vermiş kendince. Kısacası, yazarın dediği gibi her gününüz parlak olsun.

Thực sự cái kết cho phần 1 không hề dễ viết, dù HE nhưng vẫn có đôi phần khiên cưỡng. Vì vậy tui sẽ vote 5 sao cho nỗ lực chịu trách nhiệm cho số phận nhân vật Ju Yeon của tác giả.

우는 소설은 되게 오랜만이었어요. 거의 매 장면마다 울었고, 특히 마지막에 서은이가 떠나기 전에 "너는 살아"라고 한 게 너무 감동이었어요.ㅜㅜ
진짜, 올해 최고의 소설인 것 같아요. 이런 소설을 이제서야 안 제 자신이 싫어지네용...ㅎ

ilk kitap daha iyiydi tabii ama anlatmak istediği farklı olan iki kitap olduğu için yine de iyiydi
