Christina I’ve always fought my own battles both in the courtroom and in life. But when I suspect my sister is being held against her will, and I’m staring down ten angry bikers, I have to admit, I might be in over my head. Enter Will, a former special ops soldier turned bodyguard, sent by a friend to protect me. Despite my best efforts to keep him away, somehow he’s breaking through my defenses.
Will Leaving the army didn't mean leaving my protective instincts behind. Starting a bodyguard business was the natural next step. But dealing with stubborn lawyers who reject my help? That's a new challenge. However, keeping her safe turns into more than an assignment. She claims she wants only a casual relationship, but I want more. And I'm determined to show her just how much I want it. In "Protecting Christina," danger and desire collide as Christina and Will embark on a mission to rescue her sister. Can Christina let down her guard enough to let love in, and will Will's determination to protect extend to guarding his heart?
"I loved every second of their back-and-forth banter and how they helped each other along the way to heal and grow stronger not only as individuals but together. The fist pumps I threw in the air at their wins, and the hand that I held to my heart at the emotional moments, I went through ALL THE EMOTIONS, and I want to get back on that d*mn rollercoaster. - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book contains coarse language, scenes alluding to human trafficking, and DV. This is an open-door romance with descriptive intimate encounters.
WOW. WOW. WOW! After reading Jake and Nikole’s story I was so excited that we were going to get Christina’s! I couldn’t wait to dive into the fiery best friend, and what was in store for her. I was also extremely happy to have little pop-ins from Jake and Nikole and of course they were JUST THE CUTEST. Not to mention the mysterious William, HE I needed to know more about.
From the get-go, Christina as always, WHAT A SPICY LITTLE DEVIL. Her independence and her don’t-need-no-man attitude as well as herself confidence were PURE BAD ASSERY. Especially how she put Will in his place… ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS *cackles*. Regardless, as much as Christina is a powerhouse on the outside, her trust and her hard time with accepting help makes my heart break for her. Which in her time with Will, her shell cracks little by little and it just warms my heart. But good god, Will… oh William. I want to just squeeze all my love into him and never let go. He is the absolute cutest, and he is fucking adorable. I love him so much. They ARE SO FUCKING CUTE. Oh, and YOU ALREADY KNOW THE SMUT IS ABSOLUTE FIRE.
But I FUCKING SCREAMED at those convenient coincidences, and I loved every second of their back-and-forth banter. And how they helped each other along the way to heal and grow stronger not only as individuals, but together. The fist pumps I threw in the air at their wins, and the hand that I held to my heart at the emotional moments, I went through ALL THE EMOTIONS, and I want to get back on that damn rollercoaster. I CANNOT WAIT for the next Billionaire Bodyguard book in this series, and you bet I BECAME FUCKING FERAL at who was next. AAH. I love this series so much!
Who needs there next five star read??? Well look no further this could be the book for you!!! The main characters are Christina and Will. Christina is the fiery, fierce and strong minded FMC of my dreams. I loved her so much. Will is a complete softy at heart that loves to help people. So Christina is a lawyer and is great at helping her clients. Will is a strong bodyguard who also helps people get out of bad situations. Will and Christina are brought together by a unique situation. Christina’s sister needs help so she reaches out to Will for help. Upon first meeting they don’t get along. Christina doesn’t like asking for help and doesn’t want to open up. Over time they share there pasts with each other and really start to fall in love. Such a cute story with some spicy parts.
This is the second book in the serious about a groups of ex-military men who started a security company when they left the military. I loved the first book and knew that there would be a bodyguard included in the second but it took me by surprise. I was expecting the protection to be the same as Nicole but I was pleasantly surprised by the differences. These two main characters have great banter and connection. The mmc knows who and what he wants very early on but it takes time for the fmc to accept that it’s her and it’s real. This book made me feel happy when they “cleaned up” the mess with her sister and talked about their possible relationship.
When I finished Protecting Nikole I didn’t think it could get better than Jake, then along came William Nash😍
Christina- a lawyer with severe trust issues stemmed from past childhood trauma, is desperate to rescue her sister but refuses to ask for help.
Will- bodyguard/ex military badass who has some childhood trauma of his own. Known as the black knight, Will swoops in and rescues scared and battered women.
When Christina finally decides she needs help from a certain bodyguard the race is on and Will and Christina are willing to go to any lengths to rescue Donna.
badass woman who didn’t need anyone - how we all want to feel right? However, we need that little lovin’ too! Will proved to her that he could be exactly the man she needed and wanted. I always love a good billionaire romance + a mystery! The spice in book 2 was bumped up a notch and I’m here for it!
It was a good book. I loved Will. It started really good but somewhere along in the middle. I got kind of bored it did get better towards the end. I love the female character, but she was frustrating in some parts. The story just didn’t fully connected for me, there were parts that I wanted more, and there were parts where I thought it was too long.
Will, an Ex Military bodyguard who helps women get out of abusive relationships. Christina, a lawyer who helps women in the courtroom. What could be better? But the walls that Christina has built up are pretty high. Good thing Will is patient, but can he break down all of the walls?
