Remember those PTM days? The nervousness, the forced smiles, and the endless wait in line for your turn? And when your turn finally came, you sat there, sweating bullets, hoping your teacher wouldn't bring up that one time you accidentally called her 'Mom.' PTMs, or Parent-Teacher Meetings, often left both students and parents feeling like they’d just been through a mini-interrogation. It was like having your performance review at work but with your parents watching. Not fun.

Honestly, not every child has a great experience in school and are just glad to have finished it. It's the case with majority of the students. To find a solution for this situation, it is necessary that there are some changes in the education system and the school is made a place where the students find it a comforting and safe place to share their thoughts. The start of this can be done by developing a good student teacher relationship. Once a child joins a school, the first interaction is always with a teacher. So, why don't we change the trend and make teachers their best friends with whom they can feel safe to talk about anything.

The author has made an attempt to circulate and implement the ideas suggested by her in this book and hopes that she receives the same cooperation from her readers as welll. I found the book highly informative and will definitely suggest this to my fellow readers.

I was kinda skeptical about how someone's Aviation and education experience would work in her favour, but Astha has totally rocked it. Her research and self-critical approach show she's serious about making STMs work. She definitely deserves a shout-out for this fantastic book. Let's hope it hits the right spots and becomes a staple in our education system!

Well as I also was a teacher before so I can kinda relate to the atmosphere that the author has described. Teaching is itself a noble job but in order to have the 100% we need to empower them all together and for that the most important thing would be the openness between the teachers and the students. To give importance to their mental health is necessary which will eventually guide them towards achieving good academic records .
The author in this book despite PTM ( parents teachers meeting ) focused on STM ( students teachers meeting) which i felt can be a great shift toward more acquired results.

As an ex-student, I wish this book had come out sooner! My school life would have been much better. The author’s scenarios are so spot on, I almost laughed out loud remembering my own PTM nightmares. Both -My parents and the teachers used to have conspiring meetings, scaring the hell out of me. And the best part is that the author explains Student-teacher meetings so well that even a principal couldn't mess it up. PTMs were like a bad date you couldn’t escape, but this new concept sounds quite valid. They’re the new cool hangout spot. Fingers crossed that schools wake up and make this happen!
