The first rule of touring? Don’t fall for your crew.
Especially not the grumpy, emotionally caged, impossible-to-read sound guy who acts like tolerating pop-country singers is pure torture.
Patrick “Patty” O’Shannan clearly doesn’t want to be here. He does his job and barely looks at me unless it’s to scowl. But my last sound engineer quit days before the start of my first tour, and Patty? Well, he was my only option.
The deal is simple: he helps me survive the tour, I help him save his family’s bar, and then we go our separate ways. No complications. No getting attached. No wondering why a small-town bartender is so impossibly good at music.
Only, things get complicated fast.
Like when a rowdy fan gets too close, and Patty steps in before security can. Like when I struggle writing a new song, and he mumbles the perfect lyrics. Like when a booking mix-up leaves us with only one bed, and suddenly, the space between us isn’t enough. Like when I admit I’ve never been kissed, and the label wants me to kiss the famous Connor Nash—and Patty looks at me like it might just break him.
Now, every glance is charged, and every accidental touch lingers. But Patty has secrets, and the closer we grow, the riskier things get.
Can I really fight for the man who refuses to fight for himself? Or should I walk away before I lose everything—including my heart?

Such a fun and swoony read! I flew through it and loved every second. Being back with the Janes always feels like a treat, and I was especially excited for Lou’s story and it did not disappoint.
We’ve seen Lou around in the Janes books, but she’s always kept some mystery about her. Now, we get to dive deep into her past, her family dynamics, and the walls she’s built around her heart as she goes on her first tour as a rising star. And then there’s Patty. Ohhh Patty. The grumpy sound engineer who’s got some secrets of his own. He starts off as a tough nut to crack, but he’s a total cinnamon roll deep down. I was swooning before Lou even knew what hit her!
The tension between Lou and Patty was so good. They protect each other, tease each other, and slowly let down their walls. It was honestly a blast to watch them figure it all out.
Also, confession: I’m not usually into rockstar romances, but if they’re all like this one, I’d be obsessed. Even if this isn’t your usual vibe, give it a try. You might just fall head over heels like I did!
❤️🔥 Protective MMC ❤️🔥 Grumpy x Sunshine ❤️🔥 Hidden Identity ❤️🔥 Only One Bed
I finished it in less than a day. It made me snort, chuckle, swoon and cry. It made me feel seen. It has delightfully sizzling kisses. The Banter is Top Notch. It helped me realize I need to reprioritize some things in my life. It set the standard for a Grumpy/Sunshine Romance. It made me understand my music loving, guitar playing, lyric writing husband more.
It is just truly a 10 out of 10. Easily a favorite closed door romcom ever.
If you want romcoms that will always cover hard topics and go deep mashed with levity and laugher Kate Watson is your author.
Lou was so relatable in wanting to prove her worth and yet struggling to see it herself. She was truly sunshine wrapped in Diet Coke and I adored her pushing Patty's buttons.
Patty was everything I want in a grump. He had a past, a cinnamon roll heart hiding, and he was soo protective. I loved watching him get Lou's walls lowered so she could see what he did in herself. And that through Lou's help he could forgive himself for past mistakes.
This book will heal you in ways you didn't even know you needed healing with. It's just a truly special book I will never forget.
Well done Kate!
Physical Intimacy Level 2 (Longer Non Descriptive Kisses) Zero Swearing Dual 1st Person POV
This was everything I've come to love in a Kate Watson book. Relatable characters, great cast of secondary characters, and a storyline that grips you from beginning to end.
If you're looking for a book that heals your heart while you laugh and smile then this is the one.
Patty has so much hurt he needs to heal from and I adored his journey.
Lou is a force to be reckoned with but I love how she learned and grew, and how all of her relationships in this book improved.
I wish there was a playlist to go along with this book before the songs they wrote, it's like I could almost hear them. I loved every single thing. And my only wish was to have MORE. Because I can't get enough of the Janes.
This book will tear you up and then make you whole again. Oh my, I didn't expect it to be so good going in but oh the emotions.
I just finished so it's a little overwhelming but oh Kate does it again. The characters have deep insecurities and scars that haunt them daily and I loved how they grew together.
There's so much to say about this book but somehow I am unable to put it in words, but for everyone who doesn't feel seen, who doesn't feel enough, go read this book. It just might be the dose of upliftment you need.
I’d like to note first off that I haven’t read any of the previous books in this series and didn’t have any issues. There are many moments with the characters from the other stories and I think that would have meant even more to me had I read them though.
The sweet and satisfying moments woven throughout brought some swoony moments. What really sealed the deal for me was the communication. Before things got wildly out of hand both Lucy and Patty would take a beat and actually lean on the trust they had been building throughout the book. It was sincere and well written and gosh I love when couples talk!!
I have some minor quibbles with a few plot points that didn’t quite work for me. Which is fine. I did like the little touch of mystery because hidden identity is one of my favorite tropes. The sass and banter between Patty and Lou worked well and I did feel the chemistry between them.
I don’t think I’ll go back and read the previous books from this series but I do want to continue reading Watson’s new releases.

🎹~Characters~🎹 (Lucy Jane "Lou") FMC I really liked her!
(Patrick "Patty" "Paddy") MMC i actually really liked him. He was so caring and considerate of Lou and her needs, he also respected her very much.
(Ashley Jane) LOU'S FRIEND I still really liked her.
(Rusty) PATRICK'S FRIEND I still really liked him he was a really good friend to both Patrick and Lou.
(Jane) LOU'S FRIEND I still really liked her.
(Tripp) JANE'S HUSBAND I still quite liked him, but he grew an inch in height. In the first book he was 6'4 in this book and 'dont go faking my heart' he is 6'5. Mind you Tripp is in his late twenties to early thirties, how did he grow?
(Millie Jane) LOU'S FRIEND still really liked her, the amount of diet coke she drinks though.
(Duke) MILLIE'S HUSBAND I still really liked him.
(Lottie) MILLIE AND DUKE'S DAUGHTER she was still so cute.
(Jimmy) TOUR BUS DRIVER he was ok.
(Alicia) LOU'S ASSISTANT she was a little weird.
(Sean) PATRICK'S BROTHER he was ok. He gave up on his NHL (National Hockey League) dreams to come home and take care of his dad so that's nice.
(Kayla Carville) TRIPP'S COUSIN I liked Her I'm excited for her book in Kate Watson's 'Catching Feelings' series.
(Danny) PATRICK'S DAD he was a good dad I guess. I don't really know what else to say.

"Patty, I swear, if you don't admit it right now, I'm not gonna make a scene; I'm gonna make a crime scene."
"How can you know me better than anyone?" "Because our souls are made of the same stuff: chords and rests, verse and refrain, song and silence–" "Melody and harmony," I whisper.
"Sean's coming to Memphis?" She smiles. "Your dad, to. Hot Strings Hall is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so I got backstage passes for all my friends and family." "But they're my family." She leans up and kisses my cheek. "Same difference."
🎚️~What I liked~🎚️ Millie and Parker's argument, Seeing all the Janes with their significant others again for the last time, The songwriting scenes, when they got to the antler hotel, the teddy bear, The ferris wheel scene, Ash's news, The Memphis TN concert, the epilogue

More 4 1/2 🌟 This was such a fun, witty wholesome rockstar romance! We return to the Sweet as Sugar Maple series for Lou’s story. Lou is a lawyer turned rock star and Patty has a musical past and secret identity and becomes Lou’s monitor engineer for her upcoming tour. I loved Lou and Patty’s dynamic and the way Patty supported Lou. Loved all the returning characters and the girls friendship group is just the best. I really enjoyed this one! I received a complementary copy from the author.
The “Sweet as Sugar Maple” series has come to an end, and I’m sad to say goodbye to the Janes and their male counterparts. However, Truly, Medley, Deeply is the perfect conclusion to the series! Getting to see Lucy Jane aka Lou find love with the grumpy Irish bar owner, Patty, who has his own secrets, made me SO happy!
Their tension-filled banter had me swooning, and even more, the way they could both read each other was so sweet. Patty is the definition of “if he wanted to, he would.” I loved how he paid attention to Lou’s preferences, anticipating what she may need in the everyday moments. The little things really are big things!
Without giving anything away, the amount of satisfaction I had in the last 15% of the book was huge. You’ll know what I mean when you read it. Perfection in so many different ways!
Also, we get a little bit more of a setup for Kate Watson’s next book, Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend, which releases in August and follows Kayla Carville, wealthy baseball-team owning spitfire. I loved how this book tied into the next book, so hopefully we’ll be able to see some of the Sugar Maple gang in August as well. Definitely don’t miss Truly, Medley, Deeply and the rest of the Sweet as Sugar Maple series. The entire series is amazing!
I knew I was going to enjoy this story, but it was even better than I anticipated. Absolutely loved it!
It was an emotional read, with a perfect balance of humor, heartache, pining and romance, and character growth.
Lou and Patty were fabulous characters, and they completely stole my heart. The banter, sarcasm, and back-and-forth between them made me so happy.
I loved Lou’s strength and spunk, and I adored Patty’s protective side and his beautiful heart under that grumpy exterior.
I really loved the musical elements of the story, and how important music was to Lou and Patty. It added a lot of depth and richness to the story.
You can expect: rockstar romance protective hero hidden identity forced proximity one bed trope grumpy/sunshine plot twist dual pov swoony kisses flirty banter great chemistry & tension healing hearts closed door sweet ending
This is the last book in the Sweet as Sugar Maple series and can be read alone, but if you haven’t read them already, do yourself a favor and check out this wonderful series!
I received a complementary copy, but a positive review was not required.
Thank you to Kate Watson for my complimentary copy of Truly Medley Deeply. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is book 5 in the Sweet as Sugar Maple series, but it may be read as a standalone. Be forewarned, there are spoilers for couple relationships.
I really enjoyed this country music based romance.
There is a bit of a mystery and I totally missed all the clues. There is no sugar coating all the feelings between Lucy and Patty and Lucy and her family. There is a deep dive into all the relationship ups and downs. Were there tears on my part at the end? I’ll never tell ! (Yes)
Perfect if you enjoy: Grumpy Sunshine Only one bed Secret identity
Ahhhh, this book was so good!!!! The romance is literally so cute, and I love the music setting!!!! The FMC reminded me a bit of Taylor Swift because of he physical description and the type of music she writes. (Don't worry, non-swifties, she's not actually Taylor.) her character was complex, relatable, and so sweet!!! The MMC was the traditional dark and brooding hero, but with more layers. He's hurt and struggling, but he's also actively trying to atone for his past mistakes. He really is a cinnamon roll underneath it all. The plot was literally so good!!! I appreciated how the couple actually communicated!! While they aren't perfect (because no one is), there is no third act break up!!! I can not tell you how thankful I am for that!!! Overall, I loved this book and highly recommend you read it when it comes out!! *This is an ARC review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.*
You guys, this book stole my heart from the struggle with the IEMs. 😂 My husband is an AV Tech on the side & I related so much to that tidbit at the beginning. I loved everything about this book—the banter, the healing, the grumpy/sunshine vibes, and the themes of healthy priorities and forgiving yourself. Add in a splash of rock star romance and it was sealed as my favorite in the series. What a perfect end to the Janes’ stories!
So so good. There was so much depth and both Lou and Patty were so relatable in their hopes and struggles with past mistakes and regrets, being enough, insecurity and comparison, betrayal and trust… I felt their emotions and struggles, and the character development and writing was excellent. The mystery in Patty’s background also added such a great layer.
This book relied more on both their families rather than the Janes, and I really enjoyed the different take on Lou’s and Patty’s peripheral relationships with it. I loved both characters so much throughout the book. There was a tiny bit of a plot hole at the very end that I wish was fleshed out a little bit to fill the gap but it didn’t bother enough to change my rating.
It was also a fun tie in with “Since There’s No Place to Go” and am looking forward to that expanding more with Sean on the next book.
I had such a hard time putting the book down and loved it a ton. Thanks to Kate Watson for the advanced copy of this book. All opinions are mine.
Adored this one! The story, the details, the writing, all done so well. I am sad the series is over because I have loved getting to know these characters but I am excited for what comes next by Kate Watson.
Patty and Lou were great together! I love that enemies to more vibes and Patty's protectiveness. I was so curious about Patty and his back story and I loved how it all unfolded. So mysterious! Patty was so mysterious but so perceptive when it came to Lou. She was feisty and strong and I loved getting to know her more in this one. The swoon and the tension in this one is off the charts! I loved Patty and Lou's flirty banter but also how Patty soothes her when she is overwhelmed. They were each other's safe spaces. And that first kiss 🔥🔥🔥!! Even through the conflict, Lou didn't run away. Showed her growth throughout the story, she learned so much. I also loved seeing Patty slowly open to Lou.
Those twists at the end! I didn't see all of them coming and this definitely kept me on my toes. I loved the added layers and mystery to this one. What a wonderful way to end the series. I loved this series so much!
Lou's hidden identity is no longer and she is starting her first tour as a musician. in hiding, her music stood on its own. Now she can't escape the shadow of her mother's career and the ceaseless comparisons. All she needs though, is a sound tech, and she's good to go. Lucky for her, she just happens to find a gem at the bar and Patrick needs her tour to right some wrongs from his past just as much as she needs him. I read the first book not too long ago and haven’t yet picked up the ones between but my reading of TMD didn’t suffer at all. Kate did an amazing job of giving it the legs it needed to absolutely stand on its own. The chemistry is fantastic and the characters so lovable. I adored everything about it. I set it down so many times because life was kicking my butt and every time I picked it back up, my interest remained piqued and I regretted having to set it down again. Read for characters who feel real in their mistakes and triumphs, a down to earth celebrity romance, and friends that are always in their corner. Thank you to the author for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.
CONTENT -🤬: none -❤️: just kisses -⚠️: parental abandonment, car accident (recounted)
Okay, well, it's official: I'M OBSESSED WITH THE JANES, AND I'M MOVING TO SUGAR MAPLE, SOUTH CAROLINA, TOMORROW.
This was the perfect end to one of my favorite series of all time! Lou is about to begin her tour when she finds herself in need of a monitor engineer. How delightfully coincidental that grumpy Patty (It's Patrick.) is available to help.
Patty and Lou have both been hiding things from, well, lots of people. It's so satisfying to see them let their guards down with each other!!! Patty: oh sweet, injured Patty. He was so thoughtful, quietly noticing things that Lou needed and ensuring she got them. And Lou! Lou-- I loved how Lou helped breathe life back into Patty's soul and the way she challenged his view of himself. AND HER FREAKING AWESOME MOVE NEAR THE END OF THE BOOK!!! Karma is a beautiful thing, or it is in this case anyway.
I loved their nicknames, I loved the southern feel of it all, I loved when Lou found Patty at her family's piano and realized the depth of his musical genius, and I loved when Lou's forgiveness of her dad played out. And their first kiss?! THEIR FIRST KISS!!!! I melted.
Y'all, when I say I binged this book...I BINGED THIS BOOK. I adore these characters, and I adore Sugar Maple! What Kate has created here is really something special. I know that I will revisit this fictional town time and time again!
Favorite Quotes: -"Is this really how the next ninety minutes are gonna go, Queenie?" "Sugar, this is how the next six months are gonna go."
-I'm marching across the stage to my grand piano when I hear him in my ear. "You could be an assassin in that dress. Grown men all over this theater just had heart attacks."
-"How can you know me better than anyone?" "Because our souls are made of the same stuff: chords and rests, verse and refrain, song and silence—" "Melody and harmony," I whisper.
-"Too often, we women put pressure on ourselves, feeling like we have to be everything and do everything all at once. I know, because I've done it, too. We feel like we have to hold every note, play every instrument, and carry the harmony and melody at the same time. And heaven forbid we make a mistake. Hit a bad note. Get behind a measure. We don't notice when someone else misses a chord, but we beat ourselves up when we do, comparing our worst instrument to everyone else's best. We act like we have to be able to play the entire song at once, forgetting that no song—no life—is built that way. It's built piece by piece, moment by moment; a lifetime of layering instruments, of playing verses and choruses that sometimes feel too repetitive and sometimes sound messy, but that are also beautiful."
-For so long, I thought the way to stay safe from being hurt was to hide. But being know isn't a liability—it's a strength.
Truly Medley Deeply (Sweet As Sugar Maple #5) @katewatsonbooks
-I give 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
~The first rule of touring? Don’t fall for your crew…
“I don’t want anything or anyone. Except to prove myself. To show I belong.”
Friends, Truly Medley Deeply, is a secret identity, forced proximity, rockstar dear story with such heart! It is the the fifth book in the Sweet as Sugar Maple series. While those who have enjoyed the previous books in the series will enjoy catching up with familiar characters, it could be read as a stand alone but, it is worth reading the whole wonderful series, which I am all about at the moment. This dear story is blended wonderfully with such humor and heart, while also covering harder topics. In turn, paving the way tenderly with depth and helping dear characters be more relatable with their hopes, dreams, insecurities, comparisons, betrayals, and trust. This story has the ability to have you feel all the feels with these characters and their own emotions and struggles. You can’t but want to see them happy and be able to grow. Seeing them rise above, take courage, and be stretched was lovely. Seeing walls so high slowly come down and them being able to know who to trust completely, was thrilling as it wasn’t an easy feat but, so worth it. I love how this story shows the value about finding oneself, learning to let others in, reaching for all your dreams, and forgiving. This is definitely a story that is worth the dear read!
“Life is built piece by piece, moment by moment; a lifetime of layering instruments, of playing verses and choruses that sometimes feel too repetitive and sometimes sound messy, but that are also beautiful.
-Content: injured from car accidents. References to off page drugs and addictions due to touring and the music star lifestyle, dealing with trust and abandonment issues, no language, only kisses (longer in length; some makeouts).
“You gotta let yourself move forward.”
-I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
Kate Watson has a knack for making me fall for every single one of her men in different ways and Patty (Patrick) is no different! Likewise, every one of her women are relatable even with their chronic illnesses or less than stellar upbringing, and with Lou being migraine prone using Dr. Pepper Zero as the fix, love it!
I absolutely love that Lou is the last of the Janes to get her story, since she had to allow herself to be seen before she could be truly read! Lou, aka Lucy Jane, is ready to make her mark on the world and with “no distractions!” The contracts she had drafted up for her band/crew were very specific to that end. Having grown up somewhat around the industry, Lou knows how she wants things to run and doesn’t need anything to trigger her migraines (if possible)! As prepared as she was for the tour, one thing unexpected thing that she didn’t see coming is that a primary sound tech quitting and now the panicking sets in!
Enter Patrick (Patty) O’Shannan! Lou approaches him at Donegal’s and asks if he would consider joining her crew, cue his eye roll! He helped her out once before but can’t stand her music, but when she explains that Connor Nash will be there for the second half of the tour his head starts to turn. Patty needs the money to help repair the family bar but also to cover the expenses for his dad’s surgery, so he reluctantly agrees! As the tour gets underway, he starts to see Lou as more than the “Queen” that she acts like, but rather the extremely talented songwriter and musician! She isn’t just Winona Williams’ daughter either!
The banter between these two was first rate! The push/pull dynamic of who knows best is so silly sometimes, but ultimately, they are both right and perfect for each other! This was a fun adventure and felt like we were right there on the tour bus right alongside them! I also enjoyed the incorporation of their families and friends was perfect! Not to say that some of the relationships are, but just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the layer of depth gets thrown in! Oh, my goodness, I loved this book so much! Such a perfect wrap up to an outstanding series!
I have been anticipating Lucy Jane’s story for months!! And let me tell you it did not disappoint!💜 It was so fun watching Lucy Jane (Lou) switch career roles from lawyer to rockstar and go on her first tour. I loved Patrick’s (Patty) character and how protective and attentive he was to taking care of Lou and her needs and safety even if he does come off grumpy but deep down he’s a softy. He also has a big secret but I don’t want to give any spoilers! The “Janes” group texts were the best. And it was so fun getting to know Patty's brother, Sean, and of course his hockey game scene was 🔥! I can’t wait for His book to come out in August! **I absolutely loved this story. I was drawn into the narrative from beginning to end. 🥰 One of my favorites for this whole series. 👏🏼👏🏼

This was a great story of slow-burning love and trusting someone to love you no matter what. It was also a good example of believing in yourself, knowing you’re good enough despite what others think or say.
Lou is headlining a new tour, but she’s constantly reminded that she’s her mother’s daughter and is struggling to prove she’s just as good without a famous name to hold her up. FYI, she is and the only one she’s trying to prove it to is herself, although the industry is trying to manipulate her. Patty is battling his own issues from his past and doesn’t want to open up his heart and himself to trusting anyone again. He’s there to earn the money for his dad’s surgery, spurred on by the guilt he’s inflicted on himself about the accident that put his dad in a wheelchair. FYI, he doesn’t need to.
I was so glad to see more of Patty. I remember him from Rusty and Ash’s story and I thought he was interesting, although back then I pictured him older. I also loved Lou, she had so many layers and also many fears and demons, much like Patty did.
The chemistry between Lou and Patty was electric, the harmony between them was beautiful. They were both so good for each other but they were both holding back with each other.
I loved the fact there was never really a third act break up, just a couple of minor misunderstandings but guess what, they talked about them and resolved them quickly.
Looking for a celebrity, hidden identity, never been kissed romcom? Look no further! This adorable story won me over so fast.
I simply adore Lou and Patty (and I adore their gender-swapped nicknames). They are both brillantly talented, and her sass complements his grumpiness spectacularly. They are so good together, pushing each other to be better (as people and as musicians) and supporting each other unconditionally. And their chemistry and first kiss? Get ready to melt.
I also love the family and their backstories. Lou figuring out how much her parents' past and her misconceptions of it formed her into the person she is and also helped her grow is so well-written. Similarly, Patty being shaped by what he and his family have been through and the mistakes he's made is so real and raw. And I am beyond excited for Sean's story to come out later this summer.
I'm not going to give any spoilers, so just know that the twists and connections are so fun! I always enjoy and good mystery sideplot, and this one was perfect.
Thank you, Kate, for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book so much! All opinions are my own.
This was Book 5 in the series, and it was even better than the four previous books. Romance. Chemistry. Character Growth. Everything I want from a romance and more. I loved the entire series. One scene felt a touch unrealistic where Lou pulled a stunt in the middle of a concert that would've violated any music contract. It would've landed her in deep trouble with her label in the real world, but it's brushed over like it wasn't a big deal. Despite the lack of realism, I enjoyed her sticking up for herself and her man.
Also, I'm not a fan of the "red flag/green flag" terminology popular in today's culture, and the story includes it, but overall, I loved this book. Paddy was absolutely swoon-worthy. I especially loved all the little things he did for Lou without seeking acknowledgement—getting her comfortable shoes and whispering encouragement (or sarcastic barbs when he thought they would help her focus). What an amazing guy. He kept his secrets longer than necessary, but given his past, I found it plausible rather than obnoxious.
This might be my favorite book in the series. I'm looking forward to Sean's story in Kate Watson's upcoming series.
This is the 5th book in the Sweet as Sugar Maple series. It is a kisses only contemporary romcom. It is a standalone story, but I enjoyed having read the previous books and knowing the friend dynamics prior to reading this one. Maybe especially because this is the final book of the series and Lou was the biggest mystery to me.
I really enjoyed learning more about Lucy Jane and what drove her, even though I don't really have the similar drive that she has. When I read books, I rarely ever have distinct visuals of characters or places. Having said that for some reason in my mind I had Patty as older than he was, and I kept having trouble picturing them as a couple. That was completely on me though!
Other than that, this was a story that was just what I needed to read right now. I was given an advanced digital copy of the book by the author. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Finally, we get Lou’s story! I have loved reading each of the Jane’s stories and falling in love along with them, and Lou was no different. Both Patty and Lou had walls up and didn’t think they could have love, but they learned and finally listened to what those around them had been saying. The way their musical souls spoke to each other and connected was perfect.
The writing was fantastic and the music themed analogies were beautiful. I’m not a musician or writer but it spoke to me. Here’s just a small part of a great paragraph: “My fingers dance over the keys like a storm, each note a drop of regret. The chords slam down like fists, pounding out guilt in the hollow of my ribs.”
One more great quote: “That’s not her 2000s Frat Boy. That’s her natural state. Parker has texting bro face.”
-Rockstar/celebrity -Protective MMC -Only 1 bed -Hidden identity -Never been kissed
I loved this one! I knew I was going to love Patty after meeting him in Don’t Go Faking My Heart. I wish I could hear him sing and play the piano! I love how strong Lou is. Patty and Lou are so great together, and their banter is the best!
If you haven’t read this series, you need to change that asap! I cannot wait to read more from Kate Watson!

I knew it. I knew it. And then I almost threw it. Cause I was so mad at Lou. Now, I know why she did *it*, but at that moment, I was ready to throw my iPad!
*sigh* rant over
I love Patty (read it correctly, please. With the D sound, not the T.) and Lou. The high emotional level of their story was absolutely perfect. I’ve read rock star books before, but this one took me deeper, let me see more. To see more of the industry, but also see more of how much Patty and Lou really had to trust each other.
Patty and Lou’s story has such rich characters arcs, with walks being broken down, trust being built, and forgiveness given and received. I love watching all of the other characters with their growth and redemption as well! I just need to know if we’ll get a story for Sean some day 🤭
Thank you so much to Kate for the chance to read and review early!
