This steamy book is Hot with a capital H for a reason. It's full of kinky exploration in to the BDSM world, and some readers may not be into it. This book is great, and I thoroughly enjoyed the content and eagerly anticipate reading more of Chloe's work.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and short stories. They were easy to read and fast-paced, which I greatly appreciate. I would definitely recommend them.

Kindly be informed that there are trigger warnings available on Chloe's website. I recommend reviewing them before proceeding further into the world of BSDM with Chloe as it is very graphic and at times extreme.

You’re going to learn some things about yourself while reading these, probably, well mostly. Who knows. But it’s exciting. Honestly I usually read right through books no matter what, but this I needed a bit of a break between the stories. Cause just wow.

Sexy stories and a lot of fun. Brenda and Wendy are adventurous and the sexcapdes (if that’s what you want to call them, but are they really?) are exciting. Taking themselves to different heights and exploring themselves. Such a fantastic read and fun with their adventures. It’s great to see how they are before The Mansion and how they come into their own. I love how in each story they show care for each individual in the scene. Beyond just spicy and erotic, these stories show different ways things can go. ARC review.

I read this as an ARC reader, and can I just say, WOW 🥵🥵.
I didn’t know what I was going into with this collection of short stories, but it was so hot that I had to read the stories at different times because I was so into them.

Please make sure to read the trigger warnings for each of the stories on Chloe’s website! Some of these are really intense and I can imagine they could be hard for some people to read without the warnings.

Reading the progression of these stories was amazing! I loved the first one (Pet) and didn’t know if they could get any better, but just keep reading! The last story (Home) was even HOTTER!

This is a must read for anyone whole loves sapphic BDSM stories.

This book is pure filth, and I mean that in the best way possible. We get six absolutely perfect scenes following the dommy mommy alter egos of Brenda and Wendy from The Erotes Circle series. In Club Cresent, they go by Mistress Morrigan and Aosoth- and they’re ready to set your soul on fire. I would suggest reading The Mansion first so you have a better understanding of their dynamic, but I think you’d still enjoy going in blind. You do get more context for their relationship and how they built their dominant personas.
Be aware, these stories contain intense BDSM dynamics. While there is enthusiastic consent and safe practices, some depictions may be triggering. My favorite thing about the way Chloe Slate builds a scene is how conscious she is of continued consent and safe words. She uses the traffic light system and has her characters check in frequently, often using yellow to pause a scene.

This is a collection of six BDSM scenes featuring pro domme couple Mistress Morrigan and her assistant Aosoth. Mistress Morrigan is the altar ego of Brenda featured in Slate’s The Mansion and The Startup. Aosoth is her lovely wife Wendy. There isn’t an overall plot to this book as it is a collection of unconnected erotic scenes. The scenes were wonderfully spicy and each one was the perfect length for me. Safe, sane, and consensual was definitely practiced throughout the scenes but some of the safe word breaks took me out of the scene and frustrated me. There are extensive trigger warnings which can be found on Slate’s website. If you’re familiar with more intense BDSM you won’t be too shocked by the content, but you should definitely check them out. I really enjoyed this collection and would love to read more of Mistress Morrigan’s escapades.

Chloe slate definitely knows how to write erotic works. She does a great job putting you into every scene. I appreciate that her characters are well Intentioned and have check ins with each other but I do think it can take away from the scene. While I did enjoy this book it was hard to read much at one time because of how intense and lacking in plot this book is. It took me much longer to get through than a typical book of this length. I would definitely check trigger warnings for this book as it will not be for everyone. But overall I did enjoy it and will be looking forward to what Chloe comes up with next.

Honestly, this book wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but I can OBJECTIVELY see that it was worth 5-Stars.

If you are looking for a funny, well written, kinky, and ultra spicy book, then you would likely also be giving it all the stars.

Another selling point: It was obvious throughout the book how well thought out every scene was, the author paid attention to all the details here. I especially loved the check-ins between the characters.

So like I said, not the book for me personally but this book is going to appeal to SO MANY out there who want some humor and dialogue with their smut.

This book did NOT disappoint. Getting into Brenda’s head while she’s domming in different scenarios was just so delicious. She was one of the ones I was most intrigued by in the Mansion, she’s so complex and interesting.

I appreciate the care and detailed play, the aftercare, just everything about the details.

This was my first shorts book and I was very impressed. Chloe kept it fun, interesting and not predictable in the least!

I love the way the banter is written, it's spicy but also definitely made me laugh a few times. I also love that consent is always noted with check-ins. This book is definitely a green light!

Just when I thought I couldn’t love Brenda & Wendy any more than I already do, this book makes me OBSESSED with them! Every single story is filled with lust, passion, spice and more! There is something for everyone in this book! Exploring sensory play, power dynamic, and one’s inner desires @chloeslatewriter left no stone unturned! As with all of their writing that I have read, it was fluid and immersive in a way that made the reader feel like they were witnessing every single account! I truly love how they explore the taboo and embrace it, surely making everyone feel seen at some point in the best way! And for those of us who have read the first two books of the Erotes Circle, there is even a Easter egg 😉

This was a super fun read!
I loved getting to see Wendy and Brenda in different situations, and with new characters. The dynamics in each of the mini stories were so believable and worked so well. The only thing that would have made this better was getting a bigger glimpse into Wendy and Brenda’s start to their relationship.

This book was My first book by Chloe Slate. The two main characters throughout the entire book are Brenda and Wendy. They are featured in Slate’s romance books The Mansion and The Startup. If you love Sapphic reads as much as I do, you will love these. The book consists of 6 spicy scenes. This book is perfect for someone who wants something short and spicy. Make sure you check your trigger warnings which can be found on Slate’s website.

For starters this was way more intense than I anticipated. Definitely check the trigger warnings before diving in.

You will learn things about yourself reading this. If you're looking for a super erotic sapphic BDSM story, this is it. But let me tell you there is no plot aside from Mistress Morrigan and Aosoth just being incredible, and I loved it.

This is by far the most intense BDSM read I've done. Just when you think the scenes have to be peaking they keep going.

I really appreciated the emphasis on consent throughout the whole book and the insight into what is going on for Brenda in her head as she's running scenes. It emakes everything feel authentic because it is not always perfectly executed and that adds a real humanness factor. I also think so many BDSM books (and even dark romance) are mostly in the subs POV so to get so much of Brenda's own perspective is just great.

You could read this without having read Chloe's other books featuring these characters ("The Mansion" and "The Startup") but I think having read those you'll enjoy it more since you'll already have that background info and context on the characters and their story. I'll definitely be bookmarking some pages to come back to when I need some "inspiration" in the future.

This is a collection of several (6?) separate scenes of the protagonist couple working as a professional dominatrix and assistant. You should be able to predict exactly what to expect from that description and this novel delivers on the premise. This is straight-up smut without anything else, so set your expectations accordingly.

The writing is good; honestly the best that I have read from this author at this point. There is no plot to speak of (obviously) and so there isn’t anything to remark on in that regard.

I actually didn’t really like certain elements of the style of these scenes in a lot of ways, but that’s more of a “me problem”. It was objectively well done, so I’m rating it as such.

I did like that what is being depicted were objectively healthy scenes/scenarios with a lot of communication, expectation-setting (off screen but referenced) and respect for boundaries, etc..
