This book is an unusual mix of patterns and does not have the cohesive feel of many other books. While not the most visually delightful of books it does have several patterns I turn to over and over as dependable doers with satisfying results. I have knitted one sweater in particular four different times and have used the techniques learned to branch off into designs of my own. I would definitely recommend it as worthy of a close look.
