Despite being in the midst of the big battle, this volume started slow. But it definitely made up for it later, wow!

Yayoi, Kei, Eiko, and the sketchy guy from earlier can only watch as their seven graduates square up to fight actual god Yin Jiao.

Get ready for an all out brawl because losing means total annihilation. Not death (they’re already dead).

I’m not going to say any more about the plot because ew, spoilers; but I do want to talk about The Hellbound Sergeant. He’s such a cool character and I want him to stick around for the whole series, but at the same time I want him to be able to pass on and rest in peace. Just… argh! Damn you Kenichi Kondo for giving me feelings about a fictional ghost!

Another volume of straight battle. I cannot believe how many graduates Yin Jaio was able to take out. Such a crazy series and that is what I like about it. So next issue is supposed to end the Kyoto arc I am curious what we are going to do after such a massive plotline. Plus what are we going to do with the big guy from the end of the volume?
