ADDICTION is the outstanding 3rd of 4 books in Ms. Brandon's SAVAGE AFFECTION series detailing the rocky journey taken together by Tucker & Ella.
In order to appreciate this book, you must read the 1st two.
Ms. Brandon (IMO) has crafted a superb series which is a superb & stellar example of literary character development. In this series the reader is treated to both Tucker & Ella's POV, wherein we are slowly given peeks & hints into the true reasons behind their actions as well as their responses & feelings. We learn in layers about the character's backgrounds & traumas, experiences which created their extant personalities, triggers & lifestyles. We learn that neither Tucker or Ella are truly the person they present to the world at large but yet to some degree they are. A beautifully complex as well as intriguing conundrum for the reader.
Ms. Brandon in making this a 4 book series has allowed herself (and the reader I add) the rare luxury of true, deep, enthralling character development not often experienced in today's novels.
I personally, love this. Intensely.
Yet there is no dragging, no 'padding' of the story, there is a skillfully steady & subtle unfurling of a plot perfectly balanced with the right amount of scorch, lust, tension, suspense, betrayal as well as mystery to keep the reader deeply invested & immersed while on delicious tenterhooks.
This is a reader's delight: superbly written, fascinating & enthralling characters bound together in a mesmerizing plot.
And I loved it.

This was an entertaining read and thoroughly enjoyed the captivating characters and scenario
Ella and Tucker have become larger than life characters in the pages of this wonderful addition to the series and I have to say that the way there association has changed is quite dramatic and without a doubt the scenes have been written wonderfully and I was captivated by this third book in the series.
Tucker has become very protective now where Ella is concerned and he has learned so much about the woman that had been so sheltered and who now is more worldly and has become far more attracted to her and I guarantee that you will be as captivated by this read as I am.
I hope that you enjoy this book as thoroughly as I have and look forward to future book by this wonderful author.

Why has Ella’s whole outlook on life changed? How can she so easily accept Tucker’s humiliating and denigrating acts? What has made her crave his touch? Her feelings for Tucker are complex and confusing. How can Ella have gone from hatred and loathing to acceptance and craving? She yearns for his commanding presence and his strong authority and dominance.

Dam, this book is erotic and sensual and even surprisingly consensual! The more he humiliates her, the more willing she is to surrender to his demands. I never thought I could read a book so full of degradation, humiliation, depravity, and subjugation; yet sprinkled with willing consent. Oh my gosh, this series has taken me down a long trail full of deep and burning desires that actually enthrall and astound me!!!

Addiction by Felicity Brandon is the story of Tucker and Ella. She was just security…for what was due him. But, things have a way of changing…morphing…transforming into something altogether different, dark, and shocking.

Ella has no idea what she’s about to be subjected to…and how much it will change her. He is battling his own demons and she is there…for him. Deliciously dark and decadent read!!! I loved it!!!

Ella and Tucker have grown so much she was payment but now craves his every touch and word, degrading humiliating scenes that have her on top of the world almost being worshipped but she has to see the demon in Tucker though she craves him still. She was so sheltered and now with Tucker and his undivided attention and protection how could she not.

This is so exotic and steamy with scenes that will have your toes curling, and I'm here for it. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

So crazy to fall for someone who took you as payment! And yet, so fitting for the strange courtship of these two characters. Tucker would never be someone you brought home to the parents. But I can see where his take-charge attitude would appeal. I cannot wait to see what their future holds.

Is he beginning to have feelings for this young woman? Feelings he's never had before.

All I can say is that book 4 isn't going to come soon enough. This whole series is amazing and I couldn't put this one down. Ella and Tucker's relationship has all the delicious darkness I crave. It's extra hot, fast paced, and I'm definitely addicted.
