Join the Games to give humanity a fighting chance to survive...OR ROLL OVER AND DIE.
Too bad for them, Warren isn't the rolling over type.
Warren is on the Battle World and, in order to survive, he needs to summon his inner diplomat.
Warren is NO diplomat.
But despite lacking a mouth filter, he's forming very unlikely allies.
Will they last? Or is Warren just setting himself (and humanity) up for a knife in the back?

Obelisk System Integration is the start of this epic LitRPG Apocalypse series. This action-packed LitRPG/Progression series has our heroes facing off an alien invasion, academy politics, PvP and tower ascension, all to save Earth from being destroyed.
I wasn't a fan of how all the different rivals were dealt with. Turned one into a maybe friend, killed another, and a third party kills another before getting killed themselves. The fights dragged on way longer than they needed to. I actually skipped pages because the fights just kept going. Overall I wasn't very impressed. There is no believable way for Earth to topple a galaxy spanning empire. Just not seeing it, but other characters seem to think it's possible, so what do I know? Editing wasn't the best. List will be on Goodreads.
Wow what an absodamnlutely awesome book! And wow Warren the MC is AwesomeSauce. (Well I think so anyway.) As Warren and his well honed team are searching for the best prize BattleWorld has to offer, the aged and sick humans picked by the corrupted Gameing Dev who built-in a flaw designed to guarantee human failure. Only the humans are succeeding. The prize though was The Fountain of Youth. And of course finding this Fountain is of great import to Warren too because again the cancer has flared up within his core and he's about to be unravel as wild mana is running rampant!!! All the while Warren has been fighting and powering up. And wow his Beast Companions are som'min else 😳 leveling and growing into the kaiju they were meant to be. The bed won't be big enough Hahaha 😆.
Here's some quotes that amused me:
"It’s a filthy, hostile place where everything, even the trees themselves, try to kill us.” “So it’s Australia,” Warren commented. Ani blinked. “There’s killer trees in Australia?” “I mean, they had a whole war against emus and lost, so who’s to say they don’t have killer trees?"
“I want you to do so much more than that, but you are putting yourself at great risk by doing this.” Warren shrugged. “We call that Tuesday around here."
“I am so confused right now.” “Me too!” Warren leaned forward. “Because let me tell you, making gay jokes at the expense of a living toaster was not on my bingo card this year.”
“Well, for a big boulder, this guy’s actually done his homework. Too bad he’s still dumber than a box of rocks.”
Pretty good continuation of the story, although by the end, it was getting a bit odd, or interesting, depending on your point of view. I'll continue reading the series, but not sure I like the direction the story appears to be going. Nonetheless, the story is still a good one, so I'm good for at least one more book in the storyline.
Another great book in this series! The action keeps coming with several twists and turns. The scope of this book expands in the battle world with new enemies that make survival nearly impossible. Waiting for the next book!
I find that the characters are different from other books of this type. The read is not full of skills up here and there, but are more condensed. I actually enjoy the story line.
