I usually read Our Daily Bread for morning devotional. However, my mother gifted me this book for my birthday (January 8). I really enjoyed the passages on my morning commute by bus to work. I could read, then meditate on the faith step and have my mind prepared by the time I got to work. I will continue to incorporate this into my regular practice in the New Year. Hopefully, she gifts me another book. By the way, I adjusted to read Our Daily Bread during my lunchtime now.

Varied and uplifting messages of hope and praise

I enjoyed this year of morning meditations from various authors. 365 days to meditate on things that most of us can relate to as we start our day with Jesus. I highly recommend it. Who knows…in a year or two I might read it all over again.

Daily blessings
