I found this book in a little library on January 28, 2025. Obviously someone got this for Christmas but didn’t want to take the time and effort to read it daily. Each day a new bible verse and each day a new writer with a short essay. Easy to read and very enlightening stories. I’ll see you on December 31st when I wrap this up. It’s now the last day of 2025 and I finished my last devotional reading. Thank you to the many authors for opening my mind to see things in a joyful light. Wishing everyone a blessed and healthy 2026.
Walking in Grace 2025 I tend to read in the evening. Each page has a Scripture reference and a commentary. Some will uplift you, others will make you think. Some will confirm what you believe, some will encourage you. Many will be just what you needed to hear that day. The authors are from Guideposts. This and Mornings with Jesus are an essential part of my day. In the back is a space to write your thoughts on the day's reading, room for a sentence or two.
The focus of this daily devotional book is God's everlasting love. A Scripture is given for each day, along with a thought-provoking message from one of the writers. They share blessings and struggles they have as they continue their faith walks. Well worth the read. The writers begin to feel like family.
Enjoyed these daily devos with interesting stories and relevant scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments. Loved having it on Kindle so it was always with me.
I have been reading this daily book for years, even when it was Daily Guideposts. I love starting the day with the short inspirations here! It’s become a part of who I am. My adult sons get a copy for Christmas every year!
The authors write from their hearts about every day experiences that have a spiritual connection. I frequently find guidance for dealing with issues in my own life in their stories.
While the stories are still enjoyable I find most are written by authors that are looking for a way to promote their books. I used to enjoy reading the life updates of the authors in the back each year. Now they are connections to web sites more than brief insights.
I have been reading this devotional for years. It brings me joy, love, happiness and peace. I love devotionals, they are inspirational and bring God’s word to life.
I have read these annual devotional collections by Guideposts for years - they are thought provoking, endearing, faith encouraging and supporting and soul lifting.
