Bluebell Falls is best read in order as there is a connecting plot throughout.
How do you accept love when life has never been kind?
Lennox
Life will never be the same. I pushed myself too far, but it was the only way to survive and escape, so one day, I could heal and recognize the man I saw in the mirror.
That’s all I wanted, but now, I’m too damaged. I can’t help but run and hide, living my life as a recluse in my cabin. Being a burden was never the plan and never will be.
That is until an unwanted guest shows up on my front porch with an overly bright smile and a determination I’m unprepared for. I never saw Roxie coming. She digs under my skin without even trying, and although I don’t want to accept it, the loneliness I felt…
It’s all but gone.
Roxie
My daughter and I don’t stay anywhere longer than six months. That has never changed, and I don’t anticipate my newest assignment being any different.
Then the grumpiest man I have ever met answers the door, and after a battle of wills, he reluctantly lets us stay. The façade he puts on is just that, a mask to hide who he truly is behind the pain and confusion of figuring out who he should be after the trauma he has endured. Something about him and his past makes me want to dig deeper and find the spark I know he once had.
Lennox tests my professionalism at every turn, making me wonder if we could have a future here, but with my daughter’s stability at stake, I can’t take any chances. When my past comes back to haunt me, the decision is made… I have to leave him behind.
Oh my gosh my heart is just BURSTING after reading this!
This is the final book of the author’s Bluebell Falls series. Although it could be read as a stand-alone, it’s best if the series is read in order.
This is Lenny’s story. Lennox is the youngest of the Hutton siblings (Ledger, Rina, and Willow). He worked as a Park Ranger until he was abducted and tortured by a serial un-aliver in a previous book whose main character was one of his siblings. After multiple surgeries and being lost in thoughts that get darker and darker, Lenny is just not getting better. His siblings decide it’s time to intervene and a physical therapist is hired.
Roxie is a physical therapist who doesn’t stay long in any one place. She can’t, because otherwise the family members she’s running from will find her and her five year old daughter, Ivy. She accepts the job in Bluebell Falls as a live-in PT for Lennox, thinking it’s perfect for a new start.
What to say about everything that happens next? Followers of the series know how much the Hutton siblings love one another and are always in each other’s business (in mostly a good way). They also know how devastating it was- and still is- for Lenny to have been attacked in his favorite place - the park trails. To also be so physically restricted with his injuries is just as torturous as the thoughts of what the serial un-aliver said and did to him. Falling into deep depression, Lenny just isn’t himself, and his family worries he never will be.
Roxie and Ivy bring some much needed light into Lenny’s darkness. Roxie pushes him not just physically, but emotionally as well. There is no smooth path for Lenny. His physical pain is significant. His emotional pain possibly even more so. This book was full of so much raw emotion. I had tears at various points as I watched Lenny try to get better, BE better, for Roxie, Ivy, and his family. It was amazing to read. As someone who suffers from depression, I felt so seen when the book said that the state of Lenny’s room reflected how he was really doing, and how little by little Lenny forced himself to expend the energy to clean things up. Day to day stuff can be exhausting for those in a depressive state, I can’t imagine how difficult it would be with the leg pain Lenny was dealing with.
I loved the characters of Roxie and Ivy in general. And I definitely loved them with Lenny. This book had the author’s typical great slow burn, and wonderfully spicy scenes mixed in with the more serious, deep emotional moments. This book was so fulfilling. What a wonderful resolution for Lenny, and a great way to end the series!
Oh my gosh, where do I even begin with Redefining Strength? This book had me gripping my heart and sobbing like a baby! It's the final installment of Samantha M. Thomas’s Bluebell Falls series, and while it can be read on its own, I seriously recommend diving into the whole series for the full emotional ride.
We meet Lennox (Lenny), the youngest Hutton sibling, who’s been through the wringer—abducted, tortured, and left to face the darkness that now envelops him. Honestly, my heart broke for this man. He’s isolated himself in his cabin, trying to heal from wounds that run deeper than the physical scars. The portrayal of his struggles with depression was relatable and heart-wrenching.
Enter Roxie, a feisty physical therapist on the run with her daughter Ivy. She’s the light to Lenny’s dark, grumpy storm. Their dynamic is pure magic, and I was captivated by the way Roxie dug beneath Lenny's tough exterior. Their initial clash was comical, but as they peel back the layers of their pasts, I couldn’t help but cheer them on. It’s like watching a grumpy bear transformed into a gentle giant—who also happens to have an adorable sidekick in Ivy!
Roxie’s strength was seriously inspiring. She’s not just a mom; she’s a woman facing her own challenges. And Ivy? That little girl is a bundle of sunshine! The bond between her and Lenny had me swooning.
Samantha has a knack for blending deep, emotional moments with her signature slow-burn romance and spicy scenes. The pacing was spot on—just when I thought they were getting ahead, a plot twist made my heart race. The representation of men’s mental health was top-notch, and watching Lenny confront his past and embrace his future was pure magic.
If you enjoy stories tackling trauma with tenderness, blending suspense with spice, and featuring found family dynamics, then Redefining Strength is a must-read! I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you, Samantha M. Thomas, for this beautiful story. This is a book I’ll read (and reread) over and over again.
This book was so freaking fantastic. It was really good. I loved Lennox. All the pain he carried, phsysical and mental, I felt so bad for him. He was a sweet man who had some bad things happen to him and he was trying to live in the aftermath. Roxie was a very strong woman. Doing everything she could to protect her daughter, no matter what. And the way she "saved" Lennox. I mean, in a way, I guess we could say they saved each other. They both didn't want to cross the line when they working but the moment the contract was over, all bets were off. I loved the way Lennox and his family just loved Roxie and Ivy and just embranced them in the family, without a second thought. It was all Roxie wanted her all life, a family and she finally got it
Redefining Strength is the fourth and final book in Thomas' Bluebell Falls series. Each book is a standalone, ending in a HEA, and should be read in order. This book is a slow burn, grumpy/sunshine, romantic suspense featuring the youngest Hutton sibling, Lennox.
Lennox (aka Lenny) worked as a park ranger in Sam Houston National Park, a job he adored, until he found himself in a horrific situation. He was abducted and tortured by a psychopath named Alfred Tennison. While Lennox was rescued, the trauma and the scars endure. He has a very close-knit family (siblings Ledger, Rina & Willow) who have been patiently waiting for their brother to come back to them, but he is lost in his memories. Feeling the need to do something for their brother they hire a physical therapist to assist him in getting back on his feet following a recent surgery.
Roxanne (aka Roxie) Moore is that physical therapist. She's very good at her job but her own personal history has led to a transient life. She is perpetually running from narcissistic family members who keep tracking her down and threatening her. When she accepts the job in Bluebell Falls, Texas she was told there was no issue bringing her 5-year old daughter, Ivy (aka Pixie) along, and that they would both be able to stay with Lennox. Too bad nobody told him.
When Roxie and Ivy arrive on Lennox's doorstep, they come face to face with the grumpy patient. But Lennox quickly realizes that no matter how much he wants to hide, this is something he needs. He cannot save himself. He cannot dig himself out of his darkness on his own. He needs Roxie's light.
What neither of them anticipates is their mutual attraction. While they try to fight it, and respect the therapist/patient boundaries, they both take comfort in the other's presence. Lennox takes strength from her fire, and it makes him want to heal not only for himself, but for her and Ivy. When he learns her backstory he wants to be able to protect them and help them stop running.
This is a beautiful and moving story. These two damaged souls are able to offer each other a much needed place of acceptance, understanding, and ultimately healing. They see the good in each other, and lift one another up. There is so much love, not only for each other, but for a darling little girl who, like the Pixie she is, sprinkles happiness and joy wherever she goes.
While Lennox's experience is not one I can ever understand, his depression is highly relatable. His need to self-isolate, to hide in his cave, to ignore his living quarters... this is something I can understand. I loved Roxie's spirit and her energy, and was so happy to see her pull Lennox out of his cave and spark some light in him. And Ivy was an absolute delight! She is just a gem that not only helped bring smiles to the Huttons, but to me as well.
While I am sad that this series has come to an end, I'm looking forward to seeing what Thomas has in store for us next.
Let me start out by saying I could NOT put this story down. This book was full of tropes and micro-tropes that I adore: single mom, found family, grumpy/sunshine, he falls first, he doesn’t want kids but wants hers, forbidden relationship (she’s his PT and he is her patient), not to mention traumatic past and romantic suspense.
Lennox is in need of a physical therapist after being brutally attacked. His brother decides to hire him a live-in PT to help with the extensive amount of rehab he will require on his leg. Lennox has been withdrawn from his family and they are at a loss of how to help him get back to himself — physically, mentally and emotionally.
Enter Roxie and her 5 year old daughter Daisy. Roxie packs up her life and moves to Bluebell Falls without a glance in the rearview mirror, but her eyes are always checking her side mirrors for any trace of her terrible aunt and uncle. She’s been through some trauma of her own at the hands of these family members, and a fresh start and new assignment are just what Roxie and Daisy need. Roxie is hopeful that her past will stay in the past.
Another relationship that is so endearing is Daisy’s relationship with Lennox and his entire family. His family is very present throughout the story and they take such a liking to Daisy for her adorable 5 year old spunk…and Lennox falls head over heels for her. I think it’s safe to say he loves her first, and it made me swoon every single time.
From Lennox and Roxie meeting on the doorstep for the first time, to the first of many “family dinners” and a few awkward up-close encounters…this book has a perfect build up of intimacy and trust. What I especially appreciated was the male mental health representation (Lennox goes through it for the entirety of the book and it is written so well). I also loved that Roxie stands up for herself and has her own personality outside of being a mom; she is a strong role model for Daisy and it was refreshing to see.
It’s a little bit of a slow burn, and the tension & trust builds chapter by chapter. I really like how Samantha let her characters have conflict. Just when I thought they were getting ahead, there would be something to stir the pot. They find their way through their own hang-ups to an HEA.
Tropes: 💚 single mom 💚 hurt/comfort 💚 Small town 💚 Age gap 💚 Romantic suspense
I can’t tell you how long I’ve waited for Lennox’s book! Ever since I read For The Thrill of It, I wanted to learn more about Lenny and see him heal and get his happily ever after. And I’m happy to say the wait was totally worth it. This book wrapped up the whole series perfectly.
If you read For The Thrill of It then you know what struggles and trauma that Lenny went through. Lenny is the youngest Hutton sibling (Ledger, Rina, and Willow). He’s a park ranger; the strong broody type, who is super closed off especially after his incident. After a mishap hiking a trail, Lenny finally agrees to let Ledger help and hire a physical therapist for him forgetting to disclose a tiny piece of information, she’s a live in PT with a 5 year old daughter. Roxie is a physical therapist who is a single mom. Roxie and Ivy (her daughter) never stay in one place too long, until Bluebell Falls and a certain man.
This whole book is about healing and love. From the moment Lennox and Ivy meet there’s an instant bond forming between them. The banter between Lenny and Roxie is phenomenal. I loved how Roxie saw past the broody exterior Lenny showed and really broke down his walls. Between Roxie being there for him, Ivy’s sunshine personality and finally letting his family in, he’s able to heal and work through all his issues from Tennison. Roxie is patient and loving with him and helps him not only physically but emotionally and mentally as well. Roxie finally finds a place to call home and friends and a found family and she doesn’t want to run anymore. Roxie and Ivy were the much needed light into Lennox’s darkness. Watching both Roxie and Lenny’s characters go through so much growth and development was epic. Seeing the love and compassion they showed each other was fire.
There was soo much raw emotion in this story. The small suspense Samantha adds to her books make them so much better. It's not your typical romance with suspense; it doesn't highlight the whole book but adds that little extra plot to it. If you enjoy small town, age gap, found family, single mom, grumpy/sunshine, and add in a little romantic suspense this book is for you. In fact if you haven’t read this series yet start with Second First Impression.
I love @samathamthomasauthor and her Bluebell Falls Series. I was so excited to be back in Bluebell falls. I want to live there so bad! I am so sad the series is over but what a way to end it! This was perfection. I have wanted Lennox’s story forever but specifically from when he was caught up in the suspense of book 2 - For The Thrill of It. To finally get to see his struggles mentally and physically while watching him grow back into a better version of the original Lennox was just AHHHH - (chef’s kiss).
Lennox is struggling mentally since his run in with Tennison and physically since he pushed himself and fell - tearing his quad. He is on a self-destructing path. But thanks to his 3 siblings and their fight to not give up on their baby brother who used to be the life of the party and funny one, he can’t quit just yet.
The combination of Roxie is bossy PT and her adorable daughter Ivy he is on a new path of healing, not just physically from his work with Roxie but mentally both from her but more importantly from her daughter Ivy.
The chemistry between these two as they fight their own battles and overcome so many obstacles together is amazing. The suspenseful romance and slow burn to “no longer being professional” and giving into what they both want pulls at you every step of the way.
Just like her previous books, all amazing btw. . . you will need tissues! Because this is a journey of both our MC’s fighting their demons, healing, mentally and physically, falling in love, an important little girl who wraps everyone around their fingers and finding your happy ever, your forever!
This is a MUST ADD TO YOUR TBR TODAY!
Thank you @samanthamthomasauthor and @theauthor.agency for my ARC.
ARC review for 'Redefining Strength' by Samantha M. Thomas
Having not read the previous installments in the series, I found this standalone novel to be a delightful fusion of my favourite tropes—a reverse age-gap romance, a single mother narrative, and a backdrop of romantic suspense set in a charming small town. It truly captivated me.
From start to finish, I was completely engrossed in the story. This emotionally charged and redemptive tale follows Lennox as he grapples with the aftermath of a harrowing encounter with a psychopath, supported by the compassionate physiotherapist Roxie and her lovable daughter, Ivy.
As the youngest of the Hutton siblings, Lennox's traumatic past continues to haunt him following his abduction and torture by a serial killer featured in a previous installment about one of his siblings. Despite undergoing numerous surgeries, Lennox struggles to heal both physically and emotionally, wrestling with increasingly dark thoughts.
Just when he needs them most, Roxie and Ivy enter his life, bringing warmth and hope to Lennox's shadows. Roxie not only encourages him to regain his physical strength but also helps him confront his emotional turmoil. Lennox's journey is anything but easy; while his physical pain runs deep, it is the emotional anguish that truly resonates. The novel is rich with raw, heartfelt emotion, drawing tears and empathy from readers as they witness Lennox's courageous quest for healing and growth, spurred on by his newfound connections with Roxie, Ivy, and his family.
This book beautifully illustrates the power of resilience and love in the face of adversity. It delivers a message of hope and leaves a lasting smile on the reader's face.
An emotional and redemptive story which sees Lennox recovering from a brutal experience at the hands of a psychopath with the help of physiotherapist Roxie and her daughter Ivy.
I hesitate to call this a grumpy/sunshine because Lennox wasn't grumpy before his experience, and he sure as anything deserves to behave any way he wants to be after what he lived through, but he is certainly in a dark place, and Roxie's calm, positive manner, and Ivy's delightful naivety work together to help him on the road to recovery. Along with a huge dose of love and help from his family and their partners who have been the main characters of the previous books in the series. It is a (smallish) reverse age gap of about six years - Lennox is 29 for most of the book and Roxie is 35 and we see a little of Roxie's insecurity about her being older and therefore not so desirable, but this is far less of an issue than Lennox's own insecurities about his visible and invisible scars.
I loved the depth of emotion (though wow does everybody cry, A LOT!), the sweetness and good intentions of the two main characters, the honesty and kindness between family - Bluebell Falls sounds like a wonderful place to be, despite all the terrible things that have happened! The baddies in this book are more wraithlike, the sense of them is so disturbing to Roxie that we hardly need to see them, but I love how she gets a little sense of closure at the end.
This can be read as a standalone - I did and enjoyed it immensely, though I'm sure I would have enjoyed it even more if I had the full context of the previous books.
This book had me crying at page 1. If you haven’t read the books prior to this one I highly suggest you do so you can understand what happened to Lennox and what he is going through.
My heart absolutely broke for Lennox. To see what he endured in the previous books and to understand where his mindset is at in his own book was so heartbreaking. Lennox wanted to look strong to those on the outside but also shut himself off from the world so that he could just push through the pain on his own terms. It took Roxie and her daughter Ivy entering Lennox’s life to help heal him.
This was a beautiful story about strength and healing. Ivy and Roxie helped Lennox to heal in ways he wasn’t expecting. Lennox felt he was so unworthy of the love Ivy and Roxie showed to him. I loved how Roxie was determined to bring Lennox out of those thoughts and show him that he is worthy of everything he wants.
The moments between Lennox and Ivy were so cute! I loved him reading to her every night. It was something that they both needed and didn’t realize they needed it. I also adored the spaghetti dinners and Lennox and Ivy cooking together. The family dinners with them including Roxie and Ivy was so perfect.
This was a perfect conclusion story for Lennox and watching him slowly heal and open up to Roxie and Ivy was just perfection.
I highly suggest this series if you love the found family, large family, forced proximity and single mom tropes.
Thank you to the author and the Author Agency for the arc of this book.
I'm sad to be leaving Bluebell Falls because I have enjoyed this series so much. Samantha M. Thomas sure knows how to get me in my feelings. She delivers such raw and emotional stories that will tear at your heartstrings in the best ways.
Lenny has physical and emotional scars that run deep after his abduction and torture, and his siblings know they have to intervene if they ever want their brother back. They hire single mom Roxie as his live in physical therapist, and she jumps at the opportunity because she's running from something (or someone's) and thinks Bluebell Falls is a great place to hide from the scars of her past.
After a lot of push and pull, angst, and tension for days, Lenny and Roxie cross the lines and that's when the real healing begins for both of them. Sweet little Ivy added so much joy to the story and the connection she and Lenny shared was adorable. When Lenny found out what was going on with Roxie, and what she was running from, he knew he had to get better to protect his family because that's what Roxie and Ivy became to him. His strength and determination was admirable after all he had been through. But that's what love will do to you, make you fight.
The healing journey these two went through together was so beautifully written and my heart was so happy to see them get their HEA.
Lenny's story was everything and more. I could not put this story down. The crying pictures are proof.
Lennox might be a little hard to understand because he truly went though something so utterly terrifying and traumatizing he just cant shake it. His family though does not give up on him no matter what, even though he does nothing but shut them out and cant shut the demons inside his head off.
After an accident Lenny is told he needs physical therapy and thank to Ledger is older brother he gets that asap. Insert Roxie and her daughter Ivy knocking on Lenny's door without his knowledge of who she is, but he cant turn her or her daughter away. Roxie needs this physical therapy job as much as Lenny needs the physical therapy.
Watching Roxie help Lennox heal in ways he never knew he would was so freaking pure and heart felt, but not only did Roxie help Lennox heal Ivy was a big part of that too. The bond Ivy and Lenny formed together was *oh my ovaries* swoonie heart melting.
Lennox however wasn't the only one dealing with things from his past, Once he found out his girls were in trouble he did everything he could to improve his physical therapy and their safety.
I absolutely loved the male aspect of mental health in this story and how well it was portrayed and how there was no shame to it. Everyone deals with it one way or another if they realize it or not.
The Hutton family bond is something I absolutely love as well as the Bluebell Falls series.
Samantha M. Thomas pulls out all the emotional stops in the fourth and final instalment of the beloved Bluebell Falls series, Redefining Strength. This is not a book for the faint-hearted, and fans of the series knew Lenny’s story would be gut-wrenching from the start. His journey to recovery is as heartbreaking as it is inspiring, but the depth of emotion here is something no one could have anticipated.
Lenny, broken by past traumas, seemed unreachable. His family, despite their best efforts, couldn’t bring him back to the man he once was. But then comes feisty physiotherapist Roxie and her adorable five-year-old daughter, Ivy. Together, they become the unexpected cure Lenny desperately needed. However, this isn’t an easy or simple road to healing—the emotional battle is hard-fought, but the reward is nothing short of perfection.
Roxie is no mere saviour; she’s a complex character with secrets and fears of her own, adding another captivating layer to this already spellbinding slow-burn romance. Their chemistry builds gradually, drawing readers into a love story that feels raw, real, and unforgettable.
If you’re ready to feel all the feels and witness a story of vulnerability, healing, and the beauty of love, Redefining Strength is a must-read. Prepare for tears, but trust me, it’s worth everyone.
Redefining strength by Samantha M. Thomas. 5/5 stars
Now I've only recently found Thomas when I stumbled across the first book in the Bluebell Falls Series. I absolutely adored that book and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Now, the books may be part of a series but they can easily be read as a standalone, but i'm not about that life so OBVIOUSLY i went and devoured the other 2 books before even starting book 4. I highly suggest reading in order!
I cannot even begin to express how much my heart ached in this book, it has a slight continuation that happened in a previous book (which is why I recommend reading in order). This book follows Lennox and Roxie, who both have some troublesome and complicated back stories. There is nothing that will prepare you for the pain and agony you will face whilst reading this book.
Thomas clearly has a passion for the absolute raw emotions of broken characters who come together and heal each other. That's the best way to describe it. You will feel pain, sorrow, agony, kindness, love, and everything else in between. It's a book that grabs hold of your heart, rips it from your chest and then cuts it into a thousand pieces whilst later picking up every piece and gluing it back together.
I'm so sad to be leaving this small town and family behind. Lennox might be my favorite Bluebell resident/Hutton sibling. Watching him work thru so much pain--physically and mentally--was heartbreaking but beautiful, and I was so proud of him. The poor guy just seemed to never be able to catch a break until Roxie and Ivy show up to bring some light into his self imposed dark world. Watching these Hutton siblings (and partners) try to figure out how to help him get out of his funk was how every sibling relationship needs to be. They were hurting along with him, but tried everything in their powers to heal everyone and everything. Hence, Ledger hiring Roxie as Lennox's physical therapist. Roxie and Ivy! Man, they were just what Lennox, and the whole town of Bluebell Falls, needed. The bond these two had The way Roxie would do anything and everything to keep Ivy safe. I loved watching Roxie finally get to a point where she wanted to stay put. Where her safe place became Lennox. Where she found a family. And I absolutely loved watching Ivy steal the show and everyone's hearts. These two together were perfection. Roxie pushed Len thru his physical pain and his emotional pain...She was there to hold his hand for the entire rough journey. I had to bite my cheek at the end of every Lennox pov chapter because the man just wanted to start and be better and get back to his old self before Tennison and he wanted to do it all just so he could be the best version of himself that deserved Roxie and Ivy. His chapters will no doubt pierce right thru your heart so just be ready. Thank you, Samantha Thomas for writing these characters, not just Lennox and Roxie but the entire series. They most definitely needed voices and the world most definitely needed to have them. Thank you for ripping my heart to shreds in the best way and then healing it by the end of the book, only to do it again with each sibling. Thank you for trusting me with an early copy (sorry things are way late with posting). I can't wait to see where we go next.
ARC Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 🌶️🌶️ I was so happy to go back to Bluebell Falls for Lennox’s story and it was absolutely beautiful and more than what I could’ve ever hoped it would be.
Lennox went through so much in the previous books and we finally got to see what was going on underneath the surface. His struggles, internal and physical, were heartbreaking to read. After reluctantly accepting he needed help, we get to meet Roxie and the precious little Ivy aka Bug or Pixie. Their backstory pulled the emotions out of me. The individual character growth we got to see with Lennox and Roxie was astonishing. The way these two healed each other was perfect. The bond that grew between Lennox and Ivy was just the sweetest. Lennox needed some pixie dust in his life.
That Hutton family bond is another thing I absolutely adore in this series.
If you enjoy romance with suspense, spice and overcoming trauma, this book is for you. I highly recommend reading the whole series.
I would like to thank Samantha M. Thomas for the opportunity to read and review Redefining Strenght.
Redefining Strength ( Bluebell Falls ) Have you ever come across a series that just hooked you in a way no other has for a very long time ? That you found yourself not only falling completely in love with from the very first installment and page but had the ability to make you feel so many different emotions you never saw coming? Everything from being speechless to yelling outta frustration, to smiling, laughing, crying and rooting so freaking hard . Kinda like being on the craziest ride at the amusement park !!! you know that feeling you get in your stomach from being excited and nervous at the same time - the anticipation of whats to come next ? Well this series has done all of the above in spades . And man am I so sad that it is ending . Redefining Strength is Lenny and Roxie’s journey ( a journey I definitely was not prepared for because it is anything but easy . It’s extremely emotional and at times dark , it’s filled with love and passion and pain / tragedy/ struggles , drama , healing, secrets , family , friendships, second chances and much much more .
I hate starting a series in the middle or in this case at the end. This book is about Lennox he is the youngest sibling, he is extremely grumpy and closed off toward his family and others following some incident. His sibling hires a very transient physical therapist to help him heal. Roxie comes to town with her young daughter Ivy. Immediately upon meeting them sparks are flying between Roxie and Lennox. This book is a very emotional journey of two people who under gone trauma and need to heal. Now Lennox needs to physically heal as well too. The attraction between them seems to open them up to dealing with their issues and Lennox’s interactions with Ivy certainly don’t hurt. Great story of how the power of love can conquer all. I felt very lost at times because I was coming at the end of this series and the incident that occurred to Lennox was mentioned in previous books in this series. This book is enjoyable but probably a much better book if read after the earlier books in the series.
Yes, yes, yes! I was waiting for Lennox’s book, and this DELIVERED. I fell in love with Roxie and Lennox. Undoubtedly, Ivy stole the show. She is the sassy five-year-old that I would love to spend time with. But the unconditional love built in the small moments between Roxie and Lennox truly were the show-stopping moments of the book. And then, to see how Lennox grew so much from book 1 to this story, he was put through everything imaginable and came out even stronger with his HEA. The title was so fitting, as both characters showed strength and resilience through their challenges. They showed one another support and love through the dark moments of healing and growth.
This is the fourth book in the series, and I highly recommend reading the books in order to get a full understanding of the Hutton family.
Thank you to Samantha M. Thomas and The Author Agency for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review!
I don't want it to be over 🙎♀️. Yes, I am sitting here pouting like a petulant child, but I'm not okay with leaving Bluebell Falls 😔. I took my sweet, sweet time reading this book, not because I didn't want to devour it, but because I just wasn't ready for it to be over. I have loved Lennox for this entire series 😍. I loved him the most. I waited with baited breath to get to his story. I needed to see if and how he healed, even though in my head I was the one helping him 🤣. For this reason alone, I wanted to hate Roxie. I wanted to, but I couldn't. I loved her. I adored Ivy. Very quickly, I knew these two were exactly who Lennox needed to help fix the broken 🥺. While I am mourning the loss of this series, I am overjoyed at the ending the Hutton family has received. And now I get to reread the entire series 😀.
If you haven’t visited Bluebell Falls…what are you doing with your life? This series is amazing. 🤩
Im sad this is the final book of the series, but it delivers on being such a great ending. I think Samantha might have saved the best for last with Lennox’s story.
I loved the emotions that went into this story. The emotional, physical, and mental trauma this book touches on is heart wrenching. But the way that Lenny’s story takes you on an amazing journey of love, strength, support, a little suspense, and determination is ✨chefs kiss✨
Plus Roxie was a kick a$s mom who did the best she could for her little girl. Seeing her strength and the fierceness she possessed but also the realness (the mom moments) just made me love her even more.
And their chemistry was soooo good!
I loved the story, the writing, the characters. Literally everything was 🤌🏼
I have been chomping at the bit for this book to finally come out and it did not disappoint!! I have been following along with this series and I suggest you do to because each book is well worth it!
Lennox has gone through some serious trauma and has never fully recovered. So instead of possibly getting help he goes the opposite direction and becomes a recluse of the town in his middle of nowhere cabin. He is determined to be left alone no matter what. That plan doesn't quite because Roxie and her daughter coming knocking at his door. Roxie has her own skeletons in her closet that she is keeping locked and closed, at least for the time being.
Samantha M. Thomas has created another phenomenonal book in the Bluebell Falls series! I can't wait to see of what's to come next!!
4.5/5⭐️ Due to his multiple injuries, Lennox has mostly been a recluse, living with severe pain and mental anguish. His family hires Roxie as his live-in physical therapist and this changes his life.
As a single mom running away from her aunt and uncle, she does not stay put in the same place for long. The insertion of bubbly Roxie and her daughter,Ivy, into grumpy Lennox’s life is just what he needs. For them, being welcomed into the big Huttons family gives them the acceptance and comfort which they need.
Besides romance, similar to the previous books in the series, there is an element of suspense here. Roxie is totally awesome and a bad-ass when it comes to protecting those she loves.
This was an amazing end to the Bluebell Falls series.
I knew Lennox's story would hold so much emotion, especially after he survived a psychopath, but I was surprised by the plot when Roxie, his PT ,knocked on his door with her little girl,Ivy aka pixie. Love has its mysterious path to bring two hearts together and definitely the paths of the protagonists of this story were in different realms. Called chance, destiny or Ledger, who made those paths cross. I am overwhelmed by all their tribulations but it was worth reading and enjoyable.
No one ever knows where or when your life might change its course, so be prepared for that twist of events.
Thank you to the author for giving us the Bluebell Falls series. Hopefully, we will meet all of them again.
What a way to end this series. Lennox and Roxie’s story is an emotional and raw book. The mental health representation in this book needs to be recognized.
Lennox, after having been brutally attacked, is in a lot of need of help, both physically and mentally. His family hires a live-in physical therapist. Roxie takes the offered position, needing a new start for her and her daughter.
From their first meeting, Lennox and Roxie have a battle of wills. The way Roxie sees more to this man is amazing. And her and her daughter bring a light that is needed to Lennox. It pushes him to be a better man for them.
What a fantastic series this has been. I really enjoyed reading about Bluebell Falls. This has been one of my personal favorite series with characters that you enjoy getting to know. This book definitely did not disappoint. Lennox & Roxie were two characters that I thoroughly enjoyed reading about. This story was a roller skating rink of emotions that I absolutely enjoyed. Like I mentioned above in my review, this series will definitely rank up there with one of the best series that I’ve read in a very long time. I am looking forward to what this author has to write next. All these characters will definitely hold a special place in this reader‘s heart.
I cannot begin to explain how much I love this book. I adore the entire series. But I knew Lennox would be my favorite from yhe beginning. The things that Lennox has survived. How much Can one man truly go through. Rosie hasn't exactly had an easy life either but these two are prefect together. Watching Lennox open up and accept his past and embrace his future was pure magic. The trauma representation and the growth these two have is nothing short of perfection. Ivy is the must adorable little girl. This is a read/reread over and over again.
This is the 4th and final book of the Bluebell Falls series and I cannot express how much I have loved this whole series. Each book can be read as a stand alone, but why would you? This series is so great, I would highly recommend reading them all, and in order.
I really loved Roxie AND Ivy's characters as additions to the Bluebell Falls neighborhood. I loved the slow burn of this love story. I was able to really dig into the town again and into the characters, new and returning.
Thank you for the copy, this is my honest opinion.
This whole series truly has my heart. The way Samantha wrote all their stories. I will have to say that Lennox and Roxie are my favorites. There was just something that drew me to Lennox throughout the entire series. Roxie is perfect for him. If you want a feel good book that is going to leave your heart and head happy, this is a must read. The way it pulled on my heart strings…ohhh but the journey to their happily ever after was all worth it in the end. Recommend, recommend, recommend. The chemistry these two had from the beginning 💞
