After an uneasy truce with England, Irish rebels send Niall Riordan to negotiate with Queen Elizabeth. But Niall's most challenging opponent is one of the queen's fiery, quick-witted ladies in waiting.
Lady Catriona Sherwood is more than just beautiful. She is an Irish spy. And, once caught, she faces execution in the dreaded Tower of London. Cat's only chance for freedom is to return to Ireland...in the arms of Niall Riordan.
It seems a simple arrangement. Until the sparks that fly between rebel and spy demand total surrender—to the passion in their rebellious hearts.

2.5 Picked this up because I finished my other beach read and I picked this up off the shelf where I’m staying (pickings we’re slim and it made me laugh when I saw it). It was okay, I don’t think I’ll read any more of this series but it was fine for a quick read. It was a little interesting with the England/Ireland conflict with a few plot twists (not hard to guess) and miscommunication galore.
