This is an age gap BWWM romantic suspense with a lot of love, a bit of action, and a pinch of spice.
In Shielded By The Staff Sergeant Mia Caldwell gives us another bite-sized, yet intense romantic suspense story. This installation is the third story in The Brotherhood Series. The stories are all interconnected but can be read as a standalone. When Sage Collins becomes the focal point of a criminal, she runs to the only man she feels that she can trust. Even though it has been years since he last saw her, ex-soldier Viper Conley is eager to honor the vow he made to his old friend. Viper will keep Sage safe at any cost. Calling on his brothers in arms, Viper whisks Sage away to Cooper’s ranch but will her enemies and their burgeoning feelings get in the way? Ms. Caldwell uses the trope of the age gap and ably utilizes suspense and tension to propel this well-written story!.
Shielded By The Staff Sergeant, is a wonderful and beautiful read. It takes from a wild beginning to an everlasting journey. This is definitely a weekend beginner’s read.
The chemistry between Sage and Vance, their personalities are very strong and endearing. Along with their relationship with each other’s in the brother/sisterhood. Makes this book beautiful.

Sage only had one person to run to for help when she witnessed a gang murder. Staff Sgt Vance aka Viper Conerly was whom her deceased father told her she could count on for help. Neither one of them expected to fall in love. But the Brotherhood was there to support them to make sure they would get their HEA.
This was a quick easy read that was full of action and mysteruy
After witnessing a murder by a gang Sage finds herself on the run to escape them. She finds herself at the ranch of her father's friend Viper. He is the one man her father told her that she could go to that he trusted. Spending time with Viper has their feelings flourishing. Will she and her father's best friend find happiness and will he be able to keep her safe from the gang trying to take her out.

On the run Sage runs to the only person she thinks can help her, Viper. Whilst Viper tries hard not to cross that invisible line, Sage too is wondering about why it exists. Trouble is coming their way. Can they stand their ground and put an end to the danger? Or is it best to walk away when the dust settles? A good read.
she showed up at his door, in trouble with danger on her heels, and he did what he does best... protect. he looped all of his brothers in, and they all put it on the line to save another damsel in distress. and in the process of it all, they fell in love.
I have read this whole series and enjoyed everyone’s journey, now I’m just waiting for the last soldier and his story. I do have a question with this story did the others not know Sage father or was it just Viper that knew he. Loved how they all had each other’s back. I will be reading this over again.
This was a very interesting book. I enjoyed it very much. It shows why you never give up. You never know what the out come life has for you. Keep the faith.
