The Witch Within is a great beginners guide. Cerridwen Maeve breaks down many elements of the craft in ways that those who are just starting out will understand. This book serves as a great research source with info to add to your Grimoire or Book of Shadows. I really appreciate that even though Maeve tells use she is Wiccan she does not attempt to convince you her way is the right way. Bonus points for the beautiful cover.

I loved this book. It is on a strong subject, but the author explains everything not in a distant clinical tone, but more like she has invited you into her warm kitchen to sit by the fire and hear her tell you all about her religion, Witchcraft. The book flows more like a friend sitting down for an afternoon of talking about a subject she knows a lot about, as well as feels passionate about. I really liked that, as I am new to Witchcraft and I was able to understand this book more than some of the others out there where you can read it and still not understand any of it because it is just clinical. I will be looking for other books by this author and hope that she continues writing!

This book was filled with so much information that is tremendously helpful to anyone searching for a different path in life. The depth of information was perfect for a beginner or someone looking into this path. I found it to be highly informative and beautifully written. Some of the simple things I can add to my everyday life to make things better for myself and for those around me. I really appreciated the knowledge and research that was put into this book. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new path to follow for self-help and mental health.

As someone who follows witchcraft practices, I found this to be a very good introduction to the craft. The material is presented in a conversational, straight forward manner and includes some practical tips and suggestions to help the beginner get started. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about the craft.

I really like this one it's informative, it's engaging, and it is laid out in a way to actually get new people like me to understand the fundamentals of my craft. I would recommend this to anybody just getting started or to someone who is already into their path.

The Witch Within Volume II is a great step by step guide for anyone interested in witchcraft. Cerridwen Mauve does a brilliant job of explaining everything a beginner needs to know about the craft in easy-to-follow steps and simple learning techniques. Most practices only require items you already have around the house so there are no shopping and expensive purchases in order to put together what you need. Everything you need to know to begin, is broken down and explained in detail and expertly told. It tells how to fit it into your everyday life and explore your inner path in becoming the best witch you can be. Along with Volume I, they are excellent, must have beginner's tools.

It is easy to read and understand. It is expertly written and explains step by step how to find your path and energy. It tells you how to connect with ancestors, the different types of witches, finding your own magic, ways of meditation and a step-by-step guide to purifying your space. It teaches you how to design your own altar and every tool you need to be successful in your everyday life. It is explained in detail where you are comfortable understanding what everything means. This is the guide for your witchcraft practice, and I highly recommend it.

While the odd bit didn’t resonate with me, on the whole it’s brilliant. The complete starter witch package with some very useful and simple spells.
