After the unexpected passing of my young adult son, I searched for resources to help support his sister, my daughter, through our new and unimaginable circumstances. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of books on grieving the loss of an adult sibling. This book is one of the few I found and it is well written. I read it in one day and it could easily be re-read in it's entirety or only specific chapters s needed. There is also a companion workbook that I ordered after I finished the book (it is referenced several times in the book). There is excellent and heartfelt information as well as suggested tools and resources. I recommend this book to parents to read and share with their surviving adult child/children and for friends or other family members who want to support someone who has experienced adult sibling loss.
