Muchas cosas (seguramente la mitad de lo que diré no tendrá sentido, pero allá voy :'D).
Aquí ya inicia el tercer duelo, así que la tensión está al límite y los conflictos internos de los personajes vuelven todo más complicado. La relación de Seth y Anubis ya era muy dolorosa y trágica, con todo lo que pasó en esos años de reinado de Seth. De verdad me duele que todo se arruinará por culpa de Osiris (cactus decrépito, ¡¿a cuantos tienes que joder para estar satisfecho?!!!), porque ¡Seth solo quería ser un buen papá y sigue queriendo mucho a Anubis a pesar de su trauma y dolor y sentimientos encontrados! (El flashback con la espada... casi lloro). Ya en el siguiente volumen se dará este cierre, con eso de la vida de Anubis dependiendo de la flor de Osiris y... no estoy lista para revivir lo que viene T_T
En otros temas, aquí también se revelan con más detalle las motivaciones de Horus. Me parece fascinante cómo lo del exilio de Isis y crecer en ese ambiente influyó mucho en su vida. Se entiende por qué a pesar de sus dudas igual sigue con los deseos de Isis, ese amor de madre es prácticamente el único amor que ha experimentado y conocido, y con la vida llena de carencias que tuvo casi que se aferra a esos breves momentos de estabilidad. De verdad que es mucho que procesar y más aún cuando también mencionan su fijación con Seth. Realmente se formaron unos sentimientos bastante complejos en ese primer encuentro, pero lo que más destaco es que a diferencia de la menta horrible de Osiris, Horus llega a entender que sus anhelos egoístas no deben ir por encima del bienestar de Seth. Que el niño solo quiere que dejen de pelear! (Y también que Seth lo ame solo a él... pero eso con el tiempo).
Lo de la maldición de Anubis y Horus también fue bien sorpresivo, especialmente porque fue algo no intencional de parte de Seth. Se nota que toda esa acumulación de sentimientos (el dolor, la traición, la rabia, etc.) le terminó jugando en contra. A mí me da mucha lástima, porque no deja de sufrir y cuando explota sigue sufriendo, y parece que no se acaba :'D
Otro detalle importante es la reflexión que hacen sobre los dioses tratando de vivir como humanos y cosechando las consecuencias de ello... de verdad que no tienen respiro :'D
En fin, ya solo me queda un volumen para terminar la temporada. Estaré gritando próximamente :'D

Creo que Anubis y Seth son los personajes que me caen bien y sufro mucho con ellos, Horus es como mmm, ve a terapia, te quiero pero T E R A P I A. Y odio al resto.

i love going back and rereading ennead but i usually just reread my favourite chapters or a more recent one. rereading the series physically from the start has been quite a different experience that im really enjoying because i finally understood the plot about a year ago (maybe two) and it’s made it x10 more enjoyable. i’ve been making theories and interacting more with people and their thoughts on it. it also means that rereading from the beginning has helped me to pick up on things that either previously didn’t make sense to me, or i didn’t notice. i’ve only got volume 6 left until season ends and they start publishing those volumes but that likely won’t happen until either november this year or february next year and i’m so excited for it

Woah man, so much family drama it's insane 😭 I loved learning more about Horus's past and his motivations. You can tell he adores Seth, but in such a strange and twisted way. Major daddy issues amirite 🥴

Die Geschichte entfaltet sich auf äußerst fesselnde Weise und führt die Charaktere in neue, aufregende Situationen. Die Handlung ist durchdacht und hält zahlreiche unerwartete Wendungen bereit, die mich bis zur letzten Seite in ihren Bann gezogen haben. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Enthüllung über den Fluch zwischen Horus und Anubis – das ist bisher meine liebste Stelle der gesamten Reihe.
Es war erfrischend, einen weniger „edlen“ Horus kennenzulernen, und ich muss sagen, dass Anubis und Seth zu meinen Lieblingscharakteren zählen. Anubis ist mir wirklich ans Herz gewachsen, und die komplexe Darstellung der Vater-Sohn-Beziehung zwischen Seth und Anubis ist hervorragend gelungen.
Ich hoffe wirklich auf ein Happy End für Anubis.
Außerdem freue ich mich, dass wir mehr von den Frauen in "Ennead" sehen dürfen.
Ich bin schon sehr gespannt auf den sechsten Band, der wohl das Ende von Season 1 einleitet.

La pausa dalle prove finisce e l’ultima prova, la terza, è stata sorteggiata: la caccia viene scelta come metro di giudizio tra i due contendenti. Vista l’inferiorità di potere tra Seth e Horus, il tribunale degli dei decide di dare delle restrizioni a Seth affinché la sfida sia equilibrata per entrambe le parti.
Ciò che è veramente interessante viene dopo a mio parere: finalmente i personaggi di Anubi e Horus vengono esplorati con un dialogo tra i due lungo ma significativo, senza contare che si viene a conoscenza della maledizione che affligge i due giovani semidei ed anche la divinità responsabile (molto bello il flashback di quando è stata lanciata la maledizione mentre Horus racconta).
Quest’opera non smette mai di sorprendermi e di scioccarmi, senza contare i finali illegali, come in questo caso, che portano una decisione che ahimè è rimandata al prossimo volume.

Finalmente il volume con la rivelazione sulla maledizione di Horus e Anubi, probabilmente una delle mie parti preferite.
Ho amato scoprire un Horus meno "nobile" di quello che appare, insieme a Seth è uno dei miei personaggi preferiti, Anubi invece non lo sopporto proprio.
Ci stiamo avvicinando anche alla seconda parte e quindi ai capitoli di cui non ho letto le scan, pensavo ci volesse di più.
Il difetto è che dura troppo poco, scorre così velocemente che ne vorrei leggere di più.

W ogólnej dyskusji "men or bear" na podstawie ennead wybieram bear bo wszyscy men w tej serii są jacyś nie ten teges. Seth zabił tysiące kobiet i dzieci ale wydaje się być najbardziej racjonalnym z nich wszystkich.

I'm so happy to finally have an English copy of this. The hardcover is so beautiful, and the manhwa is so wonderful. This covers some great parts of the series, and it's fun to reread. Seth and Horus' dynamic is just so excellent, and seeing Seth fight is so fun.

This plot just got so crazy that I couldn’t stop! I can’t believe that Horus has been jealous of Anubis the entire time! I’m still trying ti figure out just how these relationships are working out, but damn was this a great volume!

In this volume, I still feel like all the characters are victims of Osiris more than Seth. I also thought the way Anubis’s curse came about was really interesting. And it was cool to finally see why Horus isn’t against Seth like the other gods are.

For me this volume felt a little all over the place but still enjoyed it. Horus started spilling the beans and I still can’t stand Anubis 😂
