This book brings together Dr John Hislop’s informal talks to Sai devotees, delivered over more than twenty-five years. What stays with you is the quiet genuineness of his devotion. There is no attempt to impress, only an honesty of feeling that makes it easy to understand the closeness he shared with Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
In Seeking Divinity, Dr Hislop shares incidents from his own life and from the experiences of others, using them to shed light on Baba’s teachings in a simple, almost conversational manner. Nothing feels abstract or heavy. Many of these meetings took place in Sai centres across the USA, New Zealand, and Japan, and each meeting winds up with questions being taken up patiently and addressed with clarity for the benefit of all seekers.
Overall, this is a gentle, deeply comforting book. It reads less like a formal spiritual text and more like listening to a sincere devotee speak from the heart. There is a quiet beauty in its simplicity, and that is precisely what makes it so rewarding to read.

this book is a compilation of the stories,miracles and philosophy of bhgawan baba . i learnt many things form this book ist of all i knew that we need not 2 go n search divinity anywhere the divinity is withen us, just we have 2 realize.and it is the way 2 realize god as ourself is 2 have swami in mind at all times.swami says us " i am god. but you r also god but difference is that i know it and u don not" Jai sai Ram.
