As the summer begins, Ariella, Arden, and Hazel believe that this is just going to be another one of their normal summers together. Yet little do they know, everything changes the moment the three best friends begin to experience heartbreak and agony that is caused by one single denominator—Ariella. Hazel teams up with her cousin to get rid of Ariella. To Hazel’s dismay, Ariella returns a year later. That next summer, the three of them enter the cycle that began in the last and bloodshed is spilt for love. Ariella wants Arden’s attention off her and onto Hazel, yet this isn’t what Arden wants. He has loved Ariella since the moment he met her, and not even Hazel’s involvement in Ariella’s disappearance can take that away. Except Hazel does everything she can to make sure that Arden sees her, and only her. The three must find a way to handle this triangle of love that is out of reach to each one of them. And they must do so before things fall apart and turn deadly.

i am the author of this book!! i wanted to write this to talk about some things regarding this story. to start off, none of my characters are meant to be liked in this book. in fact, you should dislike every single one of them because there is no character in this story so far that is a good person. the point of this is to display their character developments throughout the course of this trilogy. secondly, the one paged chapters after ariella disappears are meant to be confusing. they are also meant to trick the audience into believing that hazel was the one who made ariella disappear again, when in reality, ariella was behind all of it. she also tricked arden into thinking that she was experiencing a psychosis episode, which is also meant to trick the audience. those one paged chapters are real emotions she went through in the year that she disappeared. it also applies to hazel, in which those were her thoughts during the process of making ariella disappear. so, think about them as flashbacks. i didn’t want to label those chapters as “before’s” because i needed to set up the story as if ariella was in danger because of hazel. and finally, those loose plot lines are going to be tied up in the second and final book!! if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. i am more than happy to respond to them:)

The book is too long for the little content , the story doesn’t really had a plot and makes any sense . You don’t know what happened to Ariella for real and how a mom could send a kid away and don’t bother about her . It’s like the Nelsons are a bunch of sociopaths and the Arden is a stupid dumb that lives next door being played but all the girls .
