It’s a small world, so you have to be careful who you allow to snatch your soul in the middle of the night. A nameless and faceless one-night stand can come back to haunt you, and not in a good way. When fate decides to intervene, it’s almost always cruel.
Modesty and Jamian find themselves being tortured by one another’s presence, but business must go on, and money needs to be made… no matter how uncomfortable things get. Chile I LOVED everything about this read. Modesty had been hurt in the past and was finding it hard to trust and live again. Bless had experienced one heartbreak and didn’t want to feel that way again. But one chance encounter and years later having to work with one another things begin to change. They were spicy and sweet. And the ending was perfect. Great job Melanie 💙

Girlllllill where do I begin. This book was everything and more. Now I completely understand when the other reviewer said It's hot girl and Hennessey season & That brown would definitely make you get down.
I was up until 2am knocking this book down.
Jamian aka Bless was everything. I love a man that takes a life lesson and goes after what he really wants. He came to get his lil Mod Mod (Modesty). I love a good chase followed by straight ACTIONS. Bless had me feeling like I needed a Bless to come and Bless me! Grandma was my favorite character lol. Just read the book. You will laugh, fantasize, giggle and smile like you reading a naughty text and wish it was you lol. In my Keith Lee voice I read it, I day dreamed and it's a 10/10.. But I want another one like this now that we know you are not innocent lol.

This was a great read.. I loved Jamian with his crazy self. Jamian had BDE through the whole book. Modesty was a beautiful soul and didn’t take no mess but was drawn to Jamian. I’m glad they both let love find them again after being hurt.

Melanie I must say you did and awesome job once again. I love the relationship that Modesty and Jamian built, for two people that was only looking for pleasure they found so much more in each other. I’m glad that that they didn’t let their past hurt cause them to miss out on their future together. I was so glad that Modesty got rid of Ryan he wasn’t the man for her. Then for Jamian ex to come back after all these years and think he was gonna receive her back with open arms child please that ship has already sailed. This man has found his true love. I would love to hear more from grandma Netta that woman was to funny. Also Jayla needs her own book she was a mess and I believe that Julius might be able to tame her, lol. Ummm. I’m not normally really trying to gather my thoughts as I am now. Melanie B put some of everything in this book and I truly loved it. Jamian, the A hole and womanizer who turned out only to treat women the way he did was because, he had his heart broken before. Modesty, coincidentally had the same issue except she wasn’t using men, she was settling for them. They cross path, play hard to get on a work trip, trip into each other and became each other’s obsession, him more than her. Anyway, there is the HEA that I love and adored.

Love comes in all shapes and sizes. In this series, you will find 2 opposites that find comparability and pure lust. I enjoyed this read. There was just a little too much sex for me. I have mixed feelings about this one. I enjoyed reading but Modesty basically fought this the whole book. One thing that girl gonna do is jump to conclusions. I was so glad when Jamien carried her behind outta that house. Anastasia was bold and needed to be slapped. Loved grandma Netta. Great spicy scenes. I would recommend.
