This book on widowhood and grief is so well-written, and can even be helpful to those that have not experienced the loss of a spouse. Yes He Can gives practical and helpful strategies on how to deal with grief in general. The author, April Boyce, happens to be my godmother, so I knew quite a bit of her story. Known to be a very strong individual, I’m thankful that God placed this book on her heart and allowed her to open up and share how she was able to grief during a difficult time in her life.

I don’t just recommend this book because I know the author personally, but because it’s a great resource that I know I can turn back to when I need reminders of how I can still be victorious, even while grieving.
