Young readers can join Santa and his reindeer as they journey around the world and fill the sleigh with many different animals, until the sleigh gets too heavy to fly, in a holiday storybook that also includes punch-out animal ornaments.
Once again an overly long book. The idea is there. A baby reindeer sneaks on board the sleigh and collects animals on the yearly trip. But there was a way to put this story in a shorter format with a cadence. The illustrations are lovely but don’t help shorten the wordiness of this story.
Cute book. The kids gave it 5 stars, but I’m averaging that rating with my own. A baby reindeer sneaks on to the sleigh to see the world, adding a new animal or two at several stops. I liked the geography aspect of the book.
Santa sets out on his yearly adventure, but he doesn't notice the adorable little stowaways he is collecting along the way. Great pictures that really humanize the animals and make you think of them as children. A fun read. Who doesn't want to go with Santa on his Christmas Eve visit?
Beautiful illustrations of animals with a wonderful story of a little reindeer that stows away on santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve inviting other animals along for a ride.
Cute children's Christmas read, especially if you're tracking Santa on Christmas Eve on his sleigh to see what part of the world he's delivering presents to.
