The single dad and the doctor...Owen One terrible blind date with the town doctor is not enough to make me get over her. Am I delusional? That’s a strong possibility. Am I guilty of using my adorable toddler to talk to Dr. Daisy Allen every chance I get? Absolutely I am.
Daisy When I moved to the quiet, charming town of Fate to set up my medical practice, I had no intention of finding love. I agreed a blind date with hot single dad Owen Mosley just to appease the well-meaning townsfolk. That was … interesting. As much as I try to put that awkward night behind me, it’s pretty tough to avoid people in a tiny town—especially when that hot single dad is constantly making appointments to see me with his perfectly healthy kid.
Fix Me Up is a standalone story in the "Fate" universe. It is about new town doctor Daisy Allen and single dad and feed store manager Owen Mosley. Owen is the father of eighteen month old Graham, who he never knew about until his mother showed up with Graham when he was two weeks old. She was not ready to be a mother and wanted to pursue her career in NYC. So Owen became a father instantly and since then he has been a mess. He relies on his mother, Google, the internet, and now Dr. Daisy. But these two first met on a blind date on New Years Eve. Let's just say the date was memorable but not for the right reasons. What Owen did know though is that Daisy just keeps proving she is the only one for him, even as she keeps rebuffing him. But in a small town you can't help but keep crossing paths, and boundaries, if you want to have a happy life. I adore the "Fate" universe and this book is a fantastic addition to it. I fell for Daisy and Owen as they were falling for each other, and the the cute Graham, his extended family, and her friends, along with several of the town "characters" all swirl together to help these two find a HEA that is smexy hot and sweet at the same time.
Owen and Daisy has a terrible blind date on New Years Eve but that does not stop him from wanting another chance with the sexy doctor. He even goes out of his way to use his toddler, Graham, to get close to her.
Daisy was not looking for love when she took over the old doctor's practice, she gave into to pressure to go out with Owen. After that awkward night she has avoided dating. Owen keeps making appointments for his son for his healthy little boy.
This single dad is going to pull off all the stops to get the doctor to go out with him.

This is a fantastic book! Daisy is the new doctor in Fate. Owen is a single father of a toddler. Daisy and Owen had a terrible first date and had no intention of repeating the incident. Owen is not beneath using his son as an excuse to see Daisy. While Owen does want to ask out Daisy, he is waiting for the right time. While Daisy has no intention of dating Owen, she does find herself thinking about him and admiring his body. I loved how Daisy was patient with Owen and simply writes off his attention as a nervous father. Abby Knox puts out brilliant books and I loved this one!.

I love this authors books and this one is perfect. Owen is a single father doing his best but is constantly worried about is young son. Daisy is the new doctor in town and Owen is continually bringing his son in but he really just wants to see Daisy. This is a great read, Daisy and Owen have great chemistry and when they finally let go it’s perfect. This is a quick fun read. The dance this couple plays is great. Owen and Daisy had tried a date on New Years and it was a disaster. Yet in a small town you see everyone all the time. Owen has wanted to try again since the first utter failure but just can't seem to find the right way to ask.
Daisy sees Owen all the time as his boys doctor. He frustrates her to no end. She just doesn't realize the real reason she can't stop thinking of him.
Who will cave first.

Owen is a single dad who has fallen for Daisy the new town Doctor. I loved how Owen kept taking his son in to see the Doc and how their first date was a bad one but they kept thinking about each other. This is a sweet, small town romance with great characters that had me cheering for them to get their happily ever after. The writing is well done, the characters are believable and well developed and I loved visiting with past characters from the town of Fate. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This book had me bursting out laughing. The two main characters had an awkward first date (mostly bad luck and nervousness), but Owen doesn’t give up on pursuing Daisy. The family dynamic with his son was so wholesome and sweet.
I’m glad I took a chance on this one because this author is pretty hit or miss for me. There were a handful of grammatical errors, but nothing too distracting, and there weren’t as many as in some of her other books.
Woo hoo, we get to go back to Fate, which ya’ll know is one of my favorite small towns. Owen is a single dad, that has a huge crush on his baby boys doctor, Daisy. They had one date, that uh, didn’t go quite as planned, but Owen is persistent, and always bringing his son in to the doctor….even when he might be slightly overreacting. This was a safe and super cute read with a couple bringing the heat. Sweet epilogue and hea.
Fix Me Up by Abby Knox is an entertaining, steamy single dad romance set in Ms Knox' quirky Fate universe. When a blind date with the new-to-town doctor goes disastrously, Owen is undeterred when it comes to the gorgeous Daisy. He is persistent in his swoon-y pursuit, not above using his adorable young son. How long will Daisy be able to resist her handsome suitor's advances? A fun, steamy romance.

This is a very short and easy read. It gets your attention, and you instantly like the characters and the small town. I really enjoyed this book and finished it in one setting. It's such an easy read. There are some steamy parts. The couple is one I really enjoyed. I'd love to have more about this town and couple. Great book, if you are looking for a quick pick me up romance.
Loved this short novella of single dad Owen, who knows the new town Doc is meant for him, if he can just redeem himself from a disastrous blind first date. This was fun, with an endearing male lead character, and a strong female lead who knows her mind, but doesn’t trust her heart.

The new doctor from a small town and a single pope who spends time overprotecting his little son. The first date between Owen and Daysi was a failure, but in small town, it was hard not to suddenly find each other at every step, Things changed between them until they decided to be together and be happy.
Daisy was loving moving to the small town of Fate. The only bad thing was everyone wanted to set her up with Owen. They already had 1 date and it went horribly.
Owen wanted to be with Daisy, but he kinda messed up the blind date. He wants a second chance, but he has to put his son Graham first. Can they make it work?
Love will find a way to sneak in and show you that you deserve it. There is a cute baby, chaotic family, and a town that wants everyone to fall in love.
