Pilot Garis Blackwood stood on his doorstep, his mind reeling, ready to take off.
He didn't want to be late for his date with Finley, and his father was getting impatient across the hall...

An excellent sequel filled with action, unexpected twists, and danger, which literally sweeps the reader away in an incredible and spectacular race against time and against death.
I really love the interactions between the characters and the Garis/Finley couple. I particularly adore Finley's character, whom I find extremely well-developed and touching.
Furthermore, I was surprised by Garis's final choice at the end of the book. The cliffhanger ending is absolutely and deliciously unbearable.
The action picks up after the first book in the series – Moon Run. Teams have left the desert for the more urban Quantum Circuit. The problem starts quickly – shady groups are trying to control the race. Good characters and lots of action. If you like auto racing (with a bit of Star Wars-style racing) this is worth the read. Lots of crashes, dead racers, and uncertainty not just about winning, but surviving.
