A Run with Charley: 2nd Edition

Rate this book
A Run With Charley 2nd Edition has an all new Epilogue to spice up your afternoon.

I don’t remember bumping my head, but that must be the case.

Why else would I allow a total stranger to take me home after something so trivial as a trip ending in a skinned knee?

Ask Charley, my big slobbering monster of a dog who has decided this sexy as-the-devil man is a safe person.

Watching Randy rub Charley’s belly, I have never wanted to be a dog more in my life.

I know I shouldn’t, but that isn’t going to stop me—I’m getting my belly rubbed.

This story contains sexual content.

I’m an Amazon international top-selling author of Suspense Erotica. Often, I write contemporary, erotic romance novels containing BDSM content, that revolves around real life human issues we often face on a daily basis. Keeping the characters relatable to my readers helps to bring the stories to life.

My books aren't all about sex because our lives don’t revolve around sex, or at least they shouldn’t. The romance, love and tender moments are what keep us coming back for more.

We all want to be loved, adored and cherished, and BDSM gives us all of that and more. I want to show the pain and pleasure associated with the BDSM lifestyle, but also the unbreakable, loving commitment between the Dom and Sub. The trust built by this lifestyle is undeniable, and this is why I love writing in this sub-genre.

That’s not to say I don’t have a few short stories that aren’t strictly hot and naughty. Sometimes we need a little kick to get the juices flowing, so to speak, and why not quick erotica? They make for great bedtime stories.

Sometimes A Pet Can Do Accurately On Sheer Instinct What Folks Fail To Do When Judging Character When They Stand On The Crossroads Between Lust Spilling Into Love Or Vice Versa In Equal Measure.
A Run With Charley Is One Such Quickie Gem From Pebbles Lacasse That Works On This Premise. It Is A Touching Read That Revolves Around Beverley, Randy And Charley. Sure This Is A Love Triangle (If You Want To Call It That) But Of A Different Kind Mind You.
A Faltering Missed Step While Jogging Has Beverly Stumble And Lose Balance Landing In The Dust. The Fall May Have Been Nasty But The Sting Is Taken Out Of Her Fall As Randy Is There To Offer Her A Helping Hand To Get Her Back On The Feet With More Than Just Physical Support.
Thats When Charley Her Canine Pet Comes Into The Picture. The Very Fact That Randy And Charley Connect Instantly Reflects That Beverley And Randy Have A Promising Future Ahead As She Trusts Her Pets Instincts When Evaluating Her Prospective Suitors And Where They Stand With Her And How Far They Can Possibly Travel Together Because Charley Is Rarely Wrong Getting Signals Knowing What’s Best For Beverley.
Running With Charley Is Both A Short And Smooth Adult Love Story That You’re Bound To Love, More So If You Happen To Be A Pet Person Because Then The Connect Is Bound To Be Instantaneous.

This is a short, hot, appealing story of Bev, who is jogging with her dog, Charley. When she trips on a log, Randy stops to help her. At first, Bev is a bit wary, but Charley helps her realize that Randy can be trusted. This story is fun, sexy and an enjoyable read.

Beverly is out for a run with her rescue-dog, Charley, when she glances down at him and trips over a tree limb in the path. A stranger comes over to help her. He squats down to check her bleeding knee and she is afraid that Charley will react badly since he doesn’t like most men. Instead, Charley head-bumps his knee and then drops down at the man’s feet for a belly rub! Trusting her dog’s instincts, she allows Randy to drive her home where a kiss starts them off on a wild fantasy-- and perhaps something more?

It surprised me to see a number of missing words and errors in such a short little story. It wouldn’t take any time at all to have proofread it. The story line is obviously quick, but the characters are likable and the reader is intrigued about how far this hook-up will go. I was extremely impressed with Randy’s comment that he was a long-term kind of guy and if she just wanted the one-time with him, it would be best if he left then before their relationship got deeper. That was honestly the first time a character has ever said that in any of the books I have read! I, of course, melted right then and there. It was enough to make me forget the story was so short.

A well-written sizzling hot read with well-developed characters for a short story. The characters were interesting and realistic in their reactions. She and her dog are out for a run when she trips and he comes to help her. She’s afraid of what her dog might do, as he doesn’t like most men, but when he wants a belly rub from a total stranger, she trusts her dogs instincts and lets him drive her home. Things get interesting from there. A quick, hot, and steamy read.

Beverley is walking Charley, her dog, when she encounters Randy. Immediately Charley acts out of character by rolling over and allowing Randy to rub his belly. Within hours Beverley and Randy are engaged in hot sex. While this action is exciting for some readers, as an older person I find this to be a bit concerning. Beverley has invited a total stranger into her home - who knows what could have happened and in today's society this is pretty dangerous. In the literary world the story was exciting and the sex scene was described in detail. The author has a good imagination.

This short story drops us right into the very fantasy we've all had. Some guy, a truly nice and exceptionally hot guy, offers to help and then takes me home to have his way with me? Yes please!!! Thanks Pebbles, for supplying another heart stopping, steamy, it-could-totally-happen-to-me, story for me to get lost in.

Our heroine trusts her dog and his instincts, so when the handsome stranger wins his approval, things get interesting really quickly.

This is a short erotic story with a pretty straight forward plot. The characters are simple, but nicely done and the story flows nicely for a short read. We also get a nice bit of steam to round things out. Overall, a fun quick read.

Highly recommended.

Time to take up jogging

I've never read a book by Pebbles LaCrosse that I was disappointed by. After reading A Run with Charley I'm still not. A short story about Bev and her dog being helped by a complete stranger who gets the approval of Charley the dog. A great short read.

Out for a run with her dog, Beverly trips and hurts her knee. A muscled and gorgeous Randy rushes over to help her. She thinks her dog is overly protective, but Charley loves Randy, and Beverly has a fast growing affection for him too.

A steamy short story that left me wanting more. Beverly is a good hearted and cautious woman, but she hasn't had a hot man in her bed in a long time. Randy is sizzling, and he has a big heart himself. This is one scene, but it gets the blood pumping!
