Major Carson and his former team of Rangers were home. At least they would be home eventually. Right now, it seemed as though nothing was going his way. Leaving Egypt without Elena was the most difficult thing he'd ever done. Ever bone in his body was telling him to stay; telling him to make her come home with him. But he wanted it to be her decision. All that changed when her best friend called him from the hospital. Elena was in trouble and needed him. That was all he needed to hear. He would bring her home, find out what was happening, and ensure that she never left his side.
Dr. Elena Fayek was in pain and didn't like what the doctor was telling her. It was too much. Too much to think about. Too much to contemplate. Daphne kept trying to get her to call Major, but she didn't want him to feel trapped. In wouldn't matter. He was there, beside her. Now they needed to find out why someone wanted to open a twenty-year-old grave.

I chose this rating because this was a pretty great book. I enjoyed pretty much all of the characters. This was a book of determination, compassion, kindness, acceptance, devotion, understanding, doing what's right, and also falling in love. I enjoyed Major and Elena story. The author did a great job of putting these characters together. I think this couple We're great together. Great read! I recommended this book to all romance readers. I just really enjoy reading Mary Kennedy's books.
This one really went out of control quickly. It's a good thing that Elena's friend called Major and they were there to help her. You would have thought that was the worst thing of the book, but it just kept being crazy! It really brought about questions for everyone at Belle Fleur to think about. And of course right in the middle of things unbeknownst to anyone, were Matthew and Mama Irene.

It is so good to be back in the Belle Fleur world😍 I was put on a self imposed hiatus because I was reading Ms Mary's books too quickly! I was starting to feel like I was going to need a self help program😆 I am back and I missed this world, this big beautiful village! Can't wait to get to the next book!
Mary Kennedy is an exceptional story teller. Major and Elena's story is testament , each story is unique in keeping with The Belle Fleur. Each book we learn more about Mama Irene and Matthew. Each story is a page turner. And always LOVE
The team steps into an ancient problem here, and Major and Elena are caught up in it. Ancient relics, anastou ding premise, and new possibilities sw8rl around the couple, as well as around Daphne and Alistair. Is this really what the archeologists believe it is?
