DNF - this book reads like it was written by AI

If you input “write a hockey romance and a woman who falls for her ex’s brother” you would probably end up with a stilted, soulless read like this one. Found get more than 15%. DNF - which sucks since hockey romance is my fav trope.

Sweet spicy read with an unrealistic timeline

The plot was cute. There were very little misspellings or errors. The book did jump ahead in time a lot which can make it difficult to figure out where you are in the story.

***Spoilers Ahead***

The hockey scenes were so so. The writing made it seem like each Stanley Cup match up was just 1 game against each team instead of winning 4 of 7 games in 4 different rounds. Each round can take approximately 4 weeks. The final round usually starts late May or early June. Not much was mentioned about a celebration for winning or anything.

The pregnancy timeline was a bit weird too. She had her 12 week ultrasound after he won the Stanley Cup. Finding out the gender at that ultrasound is a bit early. That would have been about her 3rd month. To deliver in her 9th month, whether early or late, would have out her about November or December. Hockey Players have started their season long before that. So the only way he would have been on vacation is if it were a holiday, but it would have been a very short vacation. The writing made it seem as if he was still off season after winning the Stanley Cup.

Don't expect good hockey from this book.

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it as a Great Read for anyone that is thinking of reading it.

Mia had been in an 8 year relationship with Ryan. When Ryan decided to move to New York for his business she told him she didn't want to move with him and they finished their relationship.

Ethan is Ryan's brother who Mia knew while she was going out with Ryan. Ethan had a little boy Senna with his Ex-wife Amanda. They just fell out of Love with each other but remained great friends and were co-parenting Senna together. This worked out really well for both of them, lucky enough!

When Mia started working as the Planner for the Hockey Team that Ethan played with, they got to see a lot more of each other and the Chemistry was very evident between the two of them. Ethan's brother was always the catalyst between them.

When Mia falls pregnant, she doesn't know how to tell Ethan as he has told her that he doesn't want anymore kids for a long time because of his very heavy work schedule.

Their story progresses through out the book and is definitely worth a read. Throw in an over bearing Mother and the book has it all....ha ha

OH WOW this was fantastic book. Lexi Landon has outdone herself once again with another great hockey story. It was addicted and a steamy page turner and the suspense was incredible intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Mia had an ex’s boyfriend who was the sponsor and owner of the hockey team. Mia was a caterer and this was her biggest job that she ever worked before. Ethan was the handsome hockey player on the team. And the chemistry and physical attraction between them was spicy hot and sensation. This could be love for her once again but it might destroy Ethan reputation since they were traveling as she use to be involved with the sponsor Ryan . But he and Ethan were getting closer in this moment and they both deserve a romance relationship with each other. I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones

- Ex's brother
- Hockey romance
- Unplanned pregnancy
- No 3rd act breakup

I really enjoyed this hockey romance as I am firmly in my hockey romance era! This book was very unique in the way the characters interacted. Ethan, the hockey player, is the brother of Mia's former boyfriend, Ryan. Mia and Ryan split under amicable conditions and still talk. Ethan is very good friends with his former wife Amanda and co-parents with her.

Mia is an event planner whose company landed the contract to organize all of the events for Ethan's hockey team. Ryan is still involved because his company is a sponsor of the team. So even though they are not together anymore, Mia and Ryan still stay in touch.

Ethan is becoming interested in Mia, romantically. She returns the feelings, but is reluctant to act upon them because of Ryan. But Ethan is too much to resist for long. What started out as a fling soon becomes more. But can Ethan convince Mia he is interested in her for the long run?

Mia spent years with Ryan before she gave up and things ended. Now she is catering a party for the hockey team his brother is on worry she'll run into them both. Its not long before it happens, and she notices a look in Ryan's brother Ethan's eye when he looks at her. Ethan is drawn to her but never thought to make a move until his ex brings up how much Mia loves their son. Its not long after that that he starts talking to her and things start to grow between them. However, neither knows how to tell his brother and soon Mia has a secret that will change everything. Can they find a way to be together? or will her ex come between them?

This is an amazing story that will hook you from the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Twins for my Ex’s Pucking Brother by Lexi Landon is a hockey, billionaire romance. I’ve read quite a few books by this author and I always thoroughly enjoy them and this one is no different. I finished this book in about a day, I was hooked. I really felt for Mia, with her previous relationship being one of familiarity instead of love. Ethan was a good match for her and I thought they complemented each other well. I will say I was a bit disappointed with how long it took her to tell him of the pregnancy. Overall I had a good reading experience with this fun, fast moving story. It was written great with a steady storyline that flowed. The characters and world were believable and relatable. This is a go to author since there is always a happy ending and I love to see how the couple gets there. Definitely recommend this book if you enjoy a sweet romance.

I enjoyed Ethan and Mia’s story. Mia works for the NHL team that her Ex’s older brother is captain of. After wasting 8 years in a relationship that didn’t go anywhere she is guarded and is a focussed on making her catering company a success. Ethan was married and has a son. Although it was an amicable split he hasn’t tried to find love again either. When his ex suggests that Mia would be a good match for him, he decides to pursue it. They have great chemistry and enjoy being around each other. The fact that she used to be his brother’s girlfriend is problem that they will have to face as well as the surprise pregnancy. The book read well but was a bit predictable. Felt the ending was a bit rushed. I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I was sad for Mia, that her eight year relationship with Ryan fizzled, but she should’ve broken it off much sooner. She was comfortable, not madly in love, and worked so much that she was willing to let Ryan just keep her dangling. Maybe it’s a little strange to some that she would get together with Ethan, Ryan’s older brother, but it was completely a case of them being right for each other. The main thing I didn’t like was that she took so long to tell Ethan she was pregnant, leaving him to wonder about her feelings. A good read!

Mia was with Ryan for years, but eventually accepted that he was not her HEA, so ended it and moved on.
Ryan’s brother Ethan noticed Mia a long time ago, but she was his brother’s girlfriend, well, not anymore and he makes his move.
This is a wonderful story: Mia is a lovely character and she and Ethan are a better fit than with his brother; Ethan is a fantastic dad who puts his son first and himself second. Watching their relationship take shape and grow made this a wonderful read; the story flows well and background characters help to make this a success.

I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.

Awkward and Uncomfortable

I love a good accidental pregnancy and hockey romance. Unfortunately, this was not it. I am all for good co parenting, but having Amanda (Ethan's ex-wife) try to set up him, and Mia was weird. I could see if he already had eyes for her, but she wasn't on his radar like that. Everything seemed like it was trying too hard and disconnected. The situation with Ryan and even the other WAGs was uncomfortable most of the time. Now, onto the matter of hockey, this was unlike any sports romance I have read. I know things are not going to be extremely factual, but "hockey" in the book is not like hockey in real life.

Awful, awful, awful. the MMC is told by ex-wife that he should hook up with FMC that they would be a good match. He basically is in his mind like...o, why not? No looking at her and lusting, etc. FMC is so flat and one dimensional. She owns a catering company that follows hockey team around for playoffs setting up food for WAGs and kids? yeah right. so dumb. at one point when they are together they throw a party and invite rival pro hockey teams....another "yeah right". he has no friends mentioned in book from other team start to finish its so mundane and boring. bottom of the barrel on this one.

Catering to the Hockey Team

Mia's new catering job gives her a career boost as well has puts in the sights of her ex's brother. Ethan is extremely attracted to Mia but due to the complex relationship she hesitates. When they finally release their sexual tension, a whole new dilemma develops but it got very interesting without the need for them to separate. I really enjoyed how Ethan wanted to be there for Mia and how the story progressed. What a fun read!

Ethan and Mia were so dang adorable. It's also quite refreshing to see a female not so giddy about a pregnancy and a little scared.

But there is Ethan, who feels like he shouldn't be falling for his brothers ex. But when your heart wants someone, there is no wrong or right. And then there's his ex-wife pushing him to her. By the way, I loved that in this. To see a relationship like theirs was cute. Anyway, back to the love and gushy side of Ethan and Mia. Because there is a lot.

And if you don't believe me, see for yourself. It's a cute, quick, sweet read that you'll enjoy.

Mia was catering for a Hockey team ,that her ex is one of the sponsors of the team.
The first time she begin working for the team she was excited because her brother’s ex Ethan i the star of the center player.
When they saw her after the game to celebrate, they were happy to see her.
Amanda ex ‘s Ethan’s wife’s and his son were there too.
Amanda grabed Ethan attention that Mia is good with their son and he should give a try with her.
Ethan will listen to her advise?

I received an advanced copy of Lexi Landon's book. Twins For My Ex's Pucking Brother is an entertaining romance novel. I found Mia's relationship with Ryan one of convenience for both of them. It was sad to see eight years of investment down the drain but also needed. Then enters Ethan, Ryan's older brother and Mia's life is turned around. Landon's writing is exquisite, as she takes these complex relations and situations, turning them into a smashing love story. You will enjoy it too!

Such a great read by a great author. Ethan is my ex's brother, Ryan who is older. Mia dated Ethan for many years and he was never going to asked her to marry him. He moved to New York and Mia did not. she stayed and built my event planning business. I won the contract for the team Ethan plays on and Ryan, Mia's ex, sponsors. Ethan and Mia have chemistry. So much so that she is having twins.

Twins For My Ex's Pucking Brother

Twins For My Ex's Pucking Brother by L exi Landon is a billionaire hockey romance.
This one is a new author to me.
This book was about an event planner that starts dating her ex boyfriends brother by chance. He has a child with his first wife and is good friends with his current girlfriend. These characters are all well developed. The story is very interesting.

No connection between the MCs or anyone else. Just a whole bunch of soulless robots. The MMC didn’t notice the FMC until his poor ex wife pointed her out and suddenly he couldn’t stop thinking about her. The FMC also had no interest until suddenly she did. The closest thing to an okay character was the ex wife and she was just every man’s fantasy of what an ex wife should be. Permanent free babysitter, kid taxi, friend, hype man, & wing man without an angry or jealous bone in her body.

Sounded interesting, but I didn't feel the "ZING" connection between the MCs, and is it weird that I'm craving angst in this? Everything was going wayyy to smoothly, and while I think it's great that exes can be friends....NGL IT WAS SO FUCKING WEIRD. I mean...can you really talk to your ex- about the person you're currently seeing (fucking) and getting advice from them?

This book was trying too hard to be a goody two shoes.

Cute and funny love story of a girl who falls or her ex's brother. Add in his adorable little boy who just loves Mia. Building a relationship while traveling with an NHL team should be challenging, but our lovers only build on their connection and make time for each other. There is no third act break-up, and the ending is as happy as you can get.

Highly recommend this book. Lexi Landon did a great job of developing not only great characters but I enjoyed her storyline from the very first page. Mia and Ethan were meant to be together and I was glad she had ended her relationship with Ethan's brother, Ryan. This was an ARC copy that Lexi sent me and I freely give my recommendation for readers to add this to their libraries.

I’m having a hard time giving this book three starts to be honest. The description got me intrigued, by 20% of the book I was already checking out. It was so fast paced but it wasn’t and I don’t know how to explain it. The story line has so much potential, it can be better. I honestly want it to love it and feel a connection with the characters.
