This is not my genre at all but I really enjoyed this short read. Imagine having your sleep controlled by someone else; a concept integral to this futuristic novella. If you don’t meet deadlines at work, you don’t earn enough sleep points &, therefore, you don’t get the ‘luxury’ of sleep.

Five new interns at Zenith Technologies are about to face their new harsh reality of having their sleep being withheld- not just for hours but for days on end. Of course, they are not the only ones & the impact of sleep deprivation on the workforce is catastrophic when a coding problem prevents them resting.

A chilling novella which is all too imaginable. The need for sleep is overwhelming & insanity is only a blink away. A chaotic but recommended read.

This book rattled me more than I care to admit. I half enjoyed the suspense and the fear and half thought to myself...I hope some rich and powerful person doesn't treat this as a how-to manual instead of a warning.
