One hundred comics later, what a Mighty Morphenomenal tale of friendship, heroism and adventure! As the Earth Rangers search for a new Command Center, they face new threats, while the Omega Rangers encounter Andros, the Red Space Ranger, and Journey, the rapidly aged adopted child of Zack and Trini from an unknown species. The situation becomes dire when a legendary morpher is revealed, capable of reviving the dead, and brings back the formidable Death Ranger. The Rangers must now rescue their friends from this powerful foe while grappling with their own grief.

This is the most personal and heartbreaking story so far, as the Rangers grapple with grief and an uncertain future. We see a grief-stricken Andros, reeling from the loss of his best friend Zhane and his home planet KO-35, while Jason deals with his own loss, and how their shared grief brings them together and leads them down a dark path in their quest to stop their pain and bring back the Death Ranger who promise Andro made to avenge his loved ones and destroy those who ravaged his planet.

It's both heartbreaking and fascinating to see how each character copes with grief, particularly Kimberly, who is anxious about the future and willing to do anything to protect her friends, leading to a compelling Forever Pink storyline that completely captivated me. Alongside the main storyline, we're also introduced to a poignant side story involving Trini and Zack, who take in Journey, an orphaned alien experiencing rapid aging. This beautiful yet heartbreaking tale highlights that even if you can't find your roots, you can still create a family that loves you for you.

While mostly okay,(I enjoyed the zack/trini arc)it doesn’t really seem to take the story anywhere.

The art differences between the two titles is very jarring, it’s like one of these artists has never seen the characters before.

I enjoyed the side stories more than the main death ranger arc, as it just felt rushed and skirts over things so fast. Honestly, I don’t really understand what happened in the end.

So yeah, while fine for one read, I don’t think this added anything to the lore and the issue 100 ruined any possibility of a decent ending to this arc, in favour of the usual multi artist throwback mess that these things usually become.
So many opportunities to do a good story but the execution was lacking.

With the command centre in ruins, the Power Rangers search alien planets for a new command centre since the Eltarians have built them across the universe. Rocky is baby sitting and decides to take them to the current command centre where they need to guard Zordon with the help from Grace. Some killer robots led by King Aradon from the automation dominion take their opportunity to attack. There are some weird moments like Alpha dressing up in a disguise consisting of a suit and moustache. Kim and Tommy test out some metallic armour in the pocket dimension. Pink emissary restores Kim's knowledge of the events of shattered grid. Trini rebuilds XI. Omega Rangers broadcast a promise they will help all in the universe. "Followers of Vox" the Xurix, hear the transmission and want to attack. Two signals they pick up lead Trini and Zack find a child on their mission who then ages fast and becomes an old woman by the end. Jason and Yale are led to an ambush but find Andros, then go to rescue his people. However Andros is on his own mission, using some kind of death spirit to revive his friend which results in some temporary Death Rangers.So overall, there's a few different ideas here, but it feels a bit disjointed in tone, and is there that much impact/development for the storyline in future? The Death Rangers idea could have been a big thing but seemed quickly wrapped up.

I’ve been blitzing the Power Rangers Boom comics thanks to humble bundle, whilst this edition wasn’t included, the individual issues were. Honestly this series as a whole has been fantastic, a must read for fans of the original show.
