Ron is husband to Jen, and father to three silly boys and one sweet little girl. Ron is the award-winning author of "The Scariest Story You’ve Ever Heard," and "This Book Is Perfect!," part of the popular Finn the Frog Collection. All of his books are illustrated by the very talented and whimsical artist, Arthur Lin, from San Francisco.
“Life with kids is an amazing adventure—one I would not trade for the world. One of my favorite times of the day is when my kids snuggle up on my lap to read a few books before bed. I absolutely love how picture books capture their imagination, make them laugh out loud, and bond us closer together. To be able to provide those moments for other families with my own books has become one of my greatest joys in life.”
Fin the Frog was extremely adorable. And by far like he said, the best babysitter around! An extremely cute book about all the things a frog would do while watching a baby. Up until the book starts to stink. But it is cleaned up quickly. This is a nice morning or before nap time read.
We were so ready for this next installment of Finn and it was an instant success! This book has all the baby and toddler favorite things and it's written in a perfect way to read it in an animated way, which of course the littles love. Finn has once again stole the show, and our hearts, in this house. We will be reading this at night for months!
This was such a fun book to read, and as a parent so relatable. I love when the kid puts stickers all over Finn as my kids love stickers and many days I would walk out the door forgetting I had stickers on me. Very engaging and makes the reader feel a part of the story. I would definitely recommend this book!
I love the frog butt hahaha. All the writing is so accurate lol. Loved the take on how moms just have to give their babies any books lying around. I am guilty of this technique hahaha.
Another entertaining book by Ron Keres! What will he think of next? Children will be thoroughly engaged in this funny book about Finn the Frog who tries his hand at babysitting. Kids will be begging you to turn the pages to find out what happens next. I plan to buy this for my grandchildren. Also if you haven’t read his other books in the collections, check them out. You will not be disappointed!
Upon looking for birthday gifts for my great-grandson, I stumbled upon the Fin the Frog Series on book #4. I’ve never been one to worry too much about the order of things unless the book plot is really skewed, it didn’t throw me off these books are stand alone for the most part. There are a couple of layers to this fun little story: 1) Finn the Frog helps to problem solve with his babysitter “client” as they encounter messes, problems, and poopy diapers. 2) Finn has to teach himself to be a responsible babysitter. Frogsitter? He MUST find a solution to these problems; they aren’t going anywhere; it is up to him. It’s a strong little message in a fun, simple style. My little “great” will receive his own copy of Finn as he turns three.
Hilariously Gross and Delightfully Fun Classroom Read-Aloud!
This Book Stinks! Is a high-energy picture book that is perfect for classroom read-alouds. Kids love the messy humour, exaggerated moments, and expressive illustrations, all of which keep them fully engaged from start to finish.
The story follows Finn the Frog as he tries (and hilariously fails) to be the world’s best babysitter. Each page brings giggles and surprises, making it a great choice for group story time. Beyond the laughs, there are gentle themes of patience and problem-solving woven into the fun.
Highly recommended for early elementary classrooms, this book is guaranteed to get laughs and repeat requests.
Finn the Frog takes on babysitting. This book will have ones giggling, gasping, and begging for just one more page—which, let’s be honest, is the ultimate sign of a great children’s book! The story is packed with hilarious mishaps, delightful surprises, and plenty of fun. Brilliant illustrations.
An interactive book with a frog who is taking care of the "babies" that are reading the book. They do silly baby things to annoy the frog, including pooping..aka making the book stink. Funny and good read aloud for Elementary kids too.
This finicky frog is babysitting and comes across something he doesn’t like. It’s seems there are a lot of things Finn doesn’t like. But we still love him! Oh, Finn, what’s next?
My daughter is having a hard time with reading and phonics, so I’ve been letting her use my Kindle and she picked this book the other night and absolutely loved it. It has became one of her favorites.
Clever entry in this series. Finn has to babysit and this toddler certainly keeps him active. Readers see the many ways a toddler can spoil a book. Keres offers humor along with book care lessons.
