I really enjoyed the story. The isekai aspects were fun and entertaining. It felt like a complete storyline. I feltvlike the MC and supporting characters e a ch had their own personality. I read the whole story in one weekend and stayed up late to do so.

Where I got annoyed was in the last book. It seemed as if very little was done eg .Josh instead of John when everything has been about John Davidson. The he him his her pronouns were really bad in some of the action parts.
But the story was good enough that you couldn't put it down until the end.

One thing I wished had been done in the earlier books was the condensed character sheet. I've been looking at character sheets since 1980. Titles are sufficient after the first explanation. A glossary can be added at the end as an appendix. This way you don't have to skim over redundant paragraphs- unless the author just wants to pad the word count.
Overall I would still rate this as one of the best dungeon core Lit rpg books and recommend reading.

I really liked this book. It's a really good value for the money as well. The only drawback for me was it seemed that it ended abruptly. The final battle seemed a bit rushed, and was over very quickly. Here is something to think about too: The goddess Ellira has invited the MC (John) to a date at a cafe. He doesn't know that she is a goddess, he is just going on a date with someone that he's met online. While eating there she informs him that fate has decided his death. In a minute an out of control bus that is going to hit the table where they are sitting. He can either stay and die or come to her island and become a dungeon lord and go against her sister Fellora and her sisters witch. He decides to live and goes to the island. So here is the part to think about, if she hadn't invited him on the date and chosen that particular table he wouldn't have been about to die.

Anyway, she shows him a vision of the last dungeon lord and his failure at the hands of the Celestials' that were sent to take out the dungeon and the dungeon lord and his harem. She gives him a goal, build a harem and make that harem strong enough to take out the witch. There is another rule, he can only have sex with those women who have loyalty enough to be a dungeon guardian and are part of his harem.

One complaint, there are quite a few times in the first and second book of the series where we are shown character sheets quite a few times. In the third book we are pretty much only shown what has changed in a person particular character sheet and not the whole sheet. Reading someone's character sheet several times, especially when they are long, for only a new skill or ability has been added is a bit tiring. Even still I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

The MC is the type you would expect being asked to be reincarnated in a world of easy women, doesn’t really change much over the course of the series. So as long as you can tolerate that, there is a decent dungeon core story here, very leans into the base building aspect of it so it feels a bit like an rts. The eclectic cast of characters is the best part, really fleshes out the world and adds humor to the mix.

good story

It was a good story, but I have to agree - it ended way too quickly, as if the authors didn’t want to continue the story, but wrap it up quickly. Almost as if different writers ended it than write the rest.
