I had the pleasure of reading this book before it was published. I don’t know that I could even describe how much the book means to me or how it impacted me during difficult months of personal struggles. Being an editor for the author meant I got to read the book numerous times, and with each reading, I felt more empowered and encouraged. So many times throughout the years, I have acknowledged that there are evil forces or things I cannot see that tempt me to do wrong or distract me from what I should be focused on in life. This book reminded me that there are just as many good people and divine interventions, prayers, and support that are making my days better and more purposeful. I need to be thankful for that.

While the plot discusses serious battles and everyday struggles we go through, the setting in Bermuda is so perfect. The characters have serious moments, but there are also happy times enjoying a beautiful place. Even a little dog brings joy and comfort in unexpected ways.

I won’t give anything away, but the book is worth reading. Read it slowly. Read it again. Make it personal. Look for the hidden messages and the deeper meanings. I know personally that the author’s heart went into this book.

This book is a must read! There are so many unknowns in the world and even so, we know that spiritual warfare is a real thing. As I read this book it put so many things into perspective for me. Awna is a warrior and she is on the Earth to fight against evil. As humans, we are so consumed in the world and ourselves that we don’t realize what’s going on around us and how we are all here for something bigger. There is a bigger plan for all of us if we trust God. Our everyday troubles seem so small compared to the bigger picture and the everlasting paradise we will receive one day if we believe. I really enjoyed this book and all of the characters that were put into Awna’s life for a specific purpose.
