Yuval Zommer graduated from London’s Royal College of Art and has worked as creative director for many of the U.K.’s top advertising agencies. This is his debut picture book, inspired by the animals he came across on a trip to the zoo.

Het vogelboek van roodborstje. Door: Yuval Zommer.

Oh wat een leuk kartonboekje! Roodborstje staat vroeg op en wil een dagje op avontuur gaan. Hij vliegt er op uit en maakt kennis met allerlei andere vogels wereldwijd; zo tof!

De tekeningen zijn schattig en grappig. Het verhaal is avontuurlijk en de vele vogels maken het extra fijn. Het vogelboek van roodborstje is een leuk boekje om kennis te maken met de rijkdom van de vogelwereld.

Leuk om voor te lezen voor het slapengaan!

Cute, likes the illustrations, but lol the eyes

Little Robin from morning to evening is flight to visit other bird species. One species, but several birds are illustrated artistically in their native habitat. My favorite double board illustration is of flamingos which the text says are eating pink shrimp and they really do.

Lovely little board book, with beautiful illustrations about a little Robin visiting other bird friends. Perfect nighttime story for my almost 2 year old.
