A STORY ABOUT THE SMOOTHEST CON ARTIST EVEL LIVED.
Greetings! My name is Craig Britton, and I am a multidisciplinary wordsmith with experience in fiction and non-fiction writing, screenwriting, copywriting, and content writing. I love a good story whatever the medium and genre, and though I have been involved in a few books, my main passion is writing for the big screen.
My favourite genres include crime and drama, though I have also written historical biographies and other genres. I also love good sci-fi and some of my favourite books to read are by American and Russian authors from the early 20th century.
Born and raised in the UK, my writing career took off after graduating from the University of East London, where I earned a degree in Creative & Professional Writing and Film Studies in 2015.
My approach to writing is to zoom in on microscopic details and drive the story forward with dialogue, and strong character development. As a child, I used to write up TV series ideas, and as a former drama student, got a taste for writing dialogue.
I have worked on and off as a freelance writer, achieving ‘Top Rated’ status on Upwork where I worked for all kinds of content, businesses, and websites a mix of copy and content.
These days, I make my bread and butter as a blog writer, and you can see some of my work on Muck Rack (https://muckrack.com/craig-britton/po...). The topics I blog about range significantly, though I have a penchant for writing about food and cooking.
