To Hell

Rate this book
The devil owns me now.Ettore Russo is the devil wrapped in scars and secrets. A Camorra Capo with the power to destroy me.

And I have just been sold to him.

The burn scars covering his body are hypnotizing, but not nearly as much as his eyes. Because, in them, I see a darkness that mirrors my own. A pain that binds us.

It’s sick, but I crave it. I crave him.

For fifteen years, I’ve been nothing but a possession for men who thrive on cruelty.

My childish fantasy of becoming a fashion designer tossed in the trash.

Yet, karma finds the most twisted way to reward the unlucky.

My dream comes knocking at my door again.

Ettore is my death sentence in a designer suit.

But his touch is far too addictive for me to resist it.

Can I survive my Master’s darkness?

Faye Pierce

As a teenager, Faye used to read at night with a flashlight underneath her bed covers. She fantasized of bad boys who stopped at nothing to capture the hearts and bodies of their women, and of equally strong heroines. Make no mistake, there are no damsels in distress in her world.

Her addiction is the “enemies to lovers” trope, and maybe that’s why when she first met her husband, their chemistry was just as sizzling as their disapproval of each other. But as in her novels, passion won, and now they live through their happily ever after.

By day, she is taking care of her household. By night, her shadow self emerges to satisfy her undisclosed desires. Literary and not.

Quick read

This book was a hard one to deview. The characters were great the plot was unconventional but it just lacked urgency for me. I got bored of it at times. I didn't get her 15 years of slavery in her quick rise to fashionista.

This is a promising start to a duet, and I eagerly anticipate reading the second part. In this first book, we are introduced to Zoe Gray, a reserved individual at school who develops a friendship with Virgilio. He becomes her muse, inspiring her to create clothing designs. Zoe's ultimate ambition is to become a renowned designer.

Unfortunately, Zoe's father is abusive and keeps her under tight control. If she arrives home late, he subjects her to physical violence. When Virgilio discovers this, he resolves to help her meet her idol in Milan and pursue her dreams. However, as they reach the airport, they spot her father, who is a police officer, and he begins questioning them. Virgilio instructs Zoe to board the plane while assuring her he will join her soon. After reaching Milan, Zoe's excitement about her dreams coming true is shattered when she spots her father and flees. Regrettably, she ends up in a room with a group of mobsters who forcefully keep her captive, using her as a slave in their club. After fifteen years, she is finally rescued by someone who purchases her for her permanent freedom rather than for a night or two. Surprisingly, the man who buys her is not who she believes he is; he is someone she thought was dead. The reasons behind his change in identity are revealed in the book.

Although it takes fifteen years, Zoe's dreams gradually come true. She can meet Valerie, who assists her with designs and getting her career off the ground. Valerie also informs Zoe that Virgilio has come looking for her in Milan.

When Zoe finally receives a booking request, she is overjoyed. Both Valerie and Ettore are there to support her until chaos erupts at the event.

Will Zoe uncover Ettore's true identity? I eagerly anticipate reading "And Back" to find out.

This is a great start to a duet. I cannot wait to read the second part.
In this first book, we meet Zoe Gray. She’s someone who keeps to herself In school until she befriends Virgilio. He’s her muse and she uses him to design clothes. Her dream is to be a famous designer some day.
Her father is abusive and keeps her on a short leash. If she’s home late, he beats her! Virgilio finds out what’s going on and vows to get her to Milan to meet her idol and have a chance to be just like her. Virgilio gets her as far as the airport when he notices, her father in his cop uniform there asking questions. He tells her to get on that plane and he will be right behind her. When she gets to Milan her dreams are about to come true when she spots her father and flees. Only problem is she ends up in a room with a bunch of mobsters who then take her captive and use her as a slave in their club. After 15 years she is rescued when someone buys her for good instead of for a night or two. The man who buys her doesn’t plan to use her as a slave. Ettore is not who she thinks. Ettore is actually someone she believes is dead. He had to change his identity for reasons you will have to read the book to find out.
Zoe’s dreams are starting to come true even if it is 15 years later. She gets to meet Valerie and she helps her with designs and getting things going. She also tells Zoe that Virgilio came looking for her in Milan.
When Zoe finally gets a booking request she is on cloud 9. Valerie and Ettore are both there to support her until all hell breaks loose at the venue.

Will Zoe find out who Ettore really is?
Looking forward to reading And Back!

Took a while to get into it.
I'm not a fan of time jumping in chapters. Just put all the past together then the next chapter write 15 years later. It's not difficult!.
Ended on a cliff hanger another pet peeve 😡 no choice now but to read part 2 so see how it ends.

One thought reading through this is...
A girl sold and abused then used for sex and resold, she doesn't take long to get back into normal life and behaving like a girlfriend.

Isn't really mafia. Its only mentioned a few times and not based on it.
Its about a school girl who was kidnapped and sold into the sex industry. She's found and bought by her school friend who helped her get to Milan 15 years ago after winning a fashion design competition.
He within weeks gets her back to living life almost like the abuse and past 15 years never happened which is strange. For some reason he burnt his face to have a different identity and changed his name. So she doesn't recognise him and he doesn't tell her who he is. Just had sex with her regularly and helps her get her dream back of being a fashion designer.

Okayyyy, I'm giving this 3.5 stars because even though I didn't love it, it wasn't bad either. This story follows a woman named Zoe and someone who let her down 15 years prior. Sold to be a slave for the mafia, Virgilio or who she knows as Ettore, is back to save her and give her all she could ever dream for.

Can he keep her safe? This is a two part series and I only read the first so far, so I can't actually give you that answer.

Though a small bit lack luster with the details, and difficult to keep my attention, I have one solid favorite quote from the entire book that beats anything else is comparison.

"I have fucked up. Again."

I found myself instantly hooked. I loved the back forth having their story unfold giving glimpses of how they got where they are.  The life Zoe was dealt was unimaginable, and to power through and keep rolling through the punches showed such strength.   Faye Pierce and Bryce Keene did an amazing job with these stories and brought them to together beautifully.  Highly recommend checking it out!

This is a dark mafia story that begins with Ettore Russo buying Zoe from a Bratva Pakhan. Zoe Gray has a tragic past and now belongs to Ettore. To Hell Book 1 will be Zoe's and Ettore's introduction into who they have both become after betrayal, kidnapping, trauma and forced servitude. Good read and ends on a cliffhanger.

5* Wow, what an amazing first story in this duet. Our authors write of very disturbing behaviors, cruelty, loss, good and bad choices, and hope. The steam is very hot. The healing progresses and then--- cliffhanger. Noooo.
Great characters and locations and added secondary characters to give more depth and a wonderful story is created

Oh wow, first book I've read after getting kindle unlimited back and first book to bring me out of a reading slump I've been in for months. The suspense in this book was brilliant. Loved each of the main characters. On to the sequel now...

**DNF**

I simply cannot get on with the writing style of this book or the formatting. I cannot handle the styling of the paragraphs, it reads as if it’s designed for Twitter posts in a thread. I just simply cannot do it.

The book was good but not great. The plot was there, but there was no mystery for me. I felt like I already knew what was coming.

Zoe had more potential but was never met. Their lack of communication as kind of made me mad, but to each their own.

Overall was a good book
