This grumpy single dad and upbeat ballerina are both unexpectedly home for the holidays. But is that the only thing they have in common?

Aidan Webb only wants one thing in life, and that’s to do right by his energetic four-year old son, Walt. He’s determined to focus on his business by day, spend lots of time with Walt by night, and avoid romantic entanglements, no matter what. His single-minded focus may make him seem like a grump, but Aidan doesn’t care, as long as Walt has everything he needs.

Kenzie Forrest has been dancing out the romantic stories of the great ballets ever since she was a little girl. But a terrible injury leaves the professional ballerina uncertain if she will ever dance again. Heading back to her hometown to rest and recover, she almost immediately bumps into a gorgeous single dad and his adorable son.

Suddenly, Kenzie is starting to think that all of this could be fate, and her injury happened because it’s time for her to find her own storybook love this Christmas.

But Aidan Webb doesn’t do love – especially with a ballerina who he secretly believes will head for New York again the minute the boot comes off her injured foot. It doesn’t matter that she’s the only one who can make him laugh, or that she has such a connection with his son.

The problem is that she’s already breaking his heart, and he hasn’t even let her into it yet…

Trinity Falls Sweet Romance is all about finding family – one clean & wholesome romance at a time.
From an ex-football star finding out about a secret baby, to a reserved tech genius who opens his heart to a small-town barista and her adopted daughter, you’ll lose yourself in these feel-good books celebrating love, family, and the very special small town community of Trinity Falls.

Carpenter's Christmas Bride is a clean story about Kenzie an injured ballerina who came back home to recover, and Aidan a single father who came back home to have some help taking care of his son. With the Christmas approaching will they find some joy?

Aidan is mostly a grumpy and brusque hero, but he seems like a new man when he is with his son. I can understand he wants to protect himself and Walt from being disappointed again, but at times it's too much and it took me a while to like him. I've loved Kenzie instead, she is sweet, pretty and she doesn't let the adversity keep her down.
Kenzie and Aidan's relationship doesn't start with a spark, more with a bump, but it was a pleasure to follow their journey, and to see how they become essential for each other. They are opposite, but little by little Kenzie manages to break through Aidan's heart.

Clara Pines has a talent to write these lovely stories that warm your heart and make you smile.

This was an engaging fast read, I recommend it.

5 Star Review Carpenter’s Christmas Bride (Trinity Falls Sweet Romance - Icicle Christmas #6) by Clara Pines

I love my visits to Trinity Falls. Whenever I pick up a book I. This series I know I am in for a sweet, romantic story set around the holidays and that it will make me happy and leave me with a smile on my face.

Carpenter’s Christmas Bride was a wonderful addition to the latest series from Clara Pines. I loved single dad Aidan Webb, his son Walt and Kenzie Forrest’s story.

When an injury had Kenzie returning to Trinity Falls she had no idea how that decision will change her life. Meeting Aidan and Walt, Kenzie wonders if fate has put them in her path.

Will Aidan be prepared to risk his heart and take a chance on finding love with Kenzie?

One click and find out.

A single dad and father of four year old Walt, Aidan Webb is back in the town of Trinity Falls where he was raised. After the heartache of his divorce he decided to spend Christmas with family. He also has his own carpenter business. He loves his job. He decides to take a small job for Kenzie Forrest, a ballerina who’s home to recuperate from an injury. She remembers Aidan from school even though he was older. She thinks he’s still handsome as ever. Aidan thinks she’s beautiful, sweet and innocent. Not that he’s looking for romance after his divorce. He knows she’ll go back to New York. Or will she? Her grandmother has offered her partnership with her ballet company where she learned ballet. Will she take her up on the partnership? As Kenzie, Aidan Walt start hanging out together, the more Kenzie is missing, not being married and having children. Aidan is still guarding his heart but he does wonder what it would be like to have Kenzie in their family. Will they both decide to move forward with their lives, like before? Will they both see where their feelings take them? Kenzie has fallen for the grumpy carpenter and his sweet little boy. The characters are wonderful. They both deserve to love and be loved. I was rooting for Mr. Grumpy, the innocent Ballerina and that sweet little boy. Worth the read. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.

Book 6 Carpenters Christmas Bride, Trinity Falls Sweet Romance, Icicle Christmas
Single parent Aidan Webb is raising his 4 year old son, Walt, alone after a heartbreaking divorce. Kenzie, is a ballerina who was a few years younger than Aidan in school, who worked and trained in New York City. Recently she earned her starring role, but she became injured while performing.
Their paths keep crossing to the point they enjoyed spending time together. Walt, especially energetic, comes to love Kenzie, and she loves the energy-filled little boy. Aidan doesn’t want to be hurt again and finds difficulty letting his guard down, and Kenzie fails to communicate her plans for her future with him.
I fell in love with this story again. Clara Pines’ books in this series could stand alone, but they are better read together. They continue to be heart warming, real to life events, and clean! I always love her books. I know you will too!

We are in Trinity Falls for a wonderful story. Kenzie is from here but has been in the New York dancing in ballet productions where she was injured. Kenzie has an optimistic approach to life even though there’s the injury and the possibility of not doing professional dancing again. Aidan and his son, Walt are there for a visit with family between jobs. He is originally from Trinity Falls but moved to the city as he is a carpenter and needed more opportunities.

A Christmas outing brings them together and there is where their adventure begins. As the Christmas season draws near there is a Cassidy farm trip, a surprise Christmas tree, movie nights in and the trip to the mall with the snow globe scene was magical. Will Kenzie, Aiden and Walt get their happy ever after? This story was wonderful and magical! Clara Pines this book was amazing! Very well written and I feel at home in these stories. 5+ stars.

I always know I can count on Clara Pines to leave me with a good feeling at the end of her heartwarming stories, and she did not disappoint. Kenzie is a ballerina who has injured herself and needs to recover. She goes to Trinity Falls, where she bumps into grumpy single dad Aidan. The more they spend time together the more they care for each other, and Kenzie can't resist him and his sweet son Walt. This book is well written,  easy to read and entertaining. You can't go wrong with Clara Pines!

Trinity Falls is the best place to spend Christmas

Kenzie isn’t looking for love. She just wants to heal so she can dance again. Aiden has been burned by love once and he’s protecting himself at all costs. I loved how they met and became friends. I so enjoyed watching little Walt trying to steal the show over and over. But in the end, the sweet romance that blooms will be the shining star.
Every visit to Trinity Fall is like a chance to catch up with old friends. You are guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face and a skip in your step.

A sweet holiday romance. This book had me because I love the Trinity Falls books, but also a singe dad romance set at Christmas time. A great addition to the series. This was also a great grumpy/sunshine romance. Aidan sure is a grumpy guy, but he is no match for Kenzie's sunny personality. Even though an injury has sidelined her dreams at the moment she still sees the beauty of the moment. Don't even get me started on adorable Walt. He's so cute and he melts my heart. Some of my favorite scenes of the book are Walt and Kenzie together. She embraces Walt and knows exactly what his energetic personality needs. The magic of the season sure works on these. Beautiful story. I loved the end of this one exactly what Kenzie deserved!

This is such a beautiful and sweet series and I am loving each and every book. All the stories are feel good and they are set in Trinity Falls around Christmas time. This book is about Kenzie, Aiden and his sweet boy Walt. Although it takes a while for their romance to begin the story behind their romance is well worth the read.

Carpenter's Christmas Bride

She first night as a star ballerina, she gets hurt. Can she get her dream back after she recovers? She is given so many options, choosing the right one might take time. Good clean romance.

Aidan Webb has only two things on his mind, working and make sure his 4-year-old full of endless energy son, Walt has everything he needs. Coming back home to Trinity Falls was wonderful but it was only temporary because there wouldn’t be enough work for him to stay here, soon they would be going back to Philly. So when someone from the past worked her way not only his heart but also Walt’s, he was now struggling to figure out how to make it all come together. Does he go back “home” to the work he has there, does he stay in Trinity Falls or does he follow the woman who he loves?

Kenzie Forrest had dedicated her life to ballet, she lived and breathed it, finally getting her chance at a starring role in New York. But then an injury makes that dream come crashing down sending her home to Trinity Falls to recover. While there Kenzie really looks at her life and what she wants, especially 3 blessings come her way. A romance with a carpenter and his son who will be returning to Philadelphia, her grandmother wanting to partner in her dance company and a fellow ballet star offering her the prime job in another town. Now she just has to figure out what road she wants to travel down.

This is another edition in the Trinity Falls series and it was beautiful. Clara Pines manages to put a story together pulls you in and touches your heart. These are always very clean and simple romances that seems like everyday people, having everyday problems and working through them. Cannot wait to see where the next one will take us. I also hope that some day there will be one of those “finales” that brings them all together and allows us to see where these amazing characters ended up.

I am thankful to 1852 and the author for an ARC for my honest opinion

The author delivers another delightful, clean, sweet romance in Trinity Falls.
This time the story belongs to single dad Aidan Webb and recently injured ballerina, Kenzie Forrest.
Aidan’s priority is his darling four year old boy, Walt. Aidan is not interested in a relationship and his absolute resolve sometimes makes him act like a grump. But in fact, he has a big heart, and would like to bring up his son close to relatives instead of Philadelphia where they currently reside, but jobs in the area will likely not be enough.
Meanwhile, Kenzie has dedicated her young life to the ballet and when she finally gets a part as the principal dancer in a NYC ballet company, she suffers an injury that could end her career . But her sunny disposition , keeps her positive and she’s even wondering if maybe she needs to think of something besides her career.
What happens when a job to build a home studio for Kenzie, brings them together? What happens when together with Walt they form a temporary family-like relationship? Aidan’s fears of both him and Walt getting attached and then having Kenzie go back to NYC are real. What will she do in the end?
The story was engaging and the characters well developed.
From personal experience I can say that the author did her research on the life of a dancer. From starting at a young age, to the dedication and struggles of a dancer as well as the injuries that occur. But I am sure that if you ask any dancer, even one limping, they would say they would do it all over again for the love of dancing.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Media 1852. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Another heartfelt, picturesque romantic storyline set in the quaint town of Trinity Falls. Ms. Pines has this remarkable way of telling a story, They are not only clean, wholesome, romantic as heck storylines but she makes us readers feel every motion (both good and bad) that the characters are. In Carpenter’s Christmas Bride, we follow along with Aidan and Kenzie. Both have moved back to their hometown of Trinity Falls after devastating events in their lives. Aidan is recently divorce and bitter at the world. The only bright spot is Walt, Aidan’s 4 year old son who he will go above and beyond for. As for Kenzie, she finally achieved her dream of being a ballet dancer in NYC. But an injury on opening night has her recouping back home and wondering if she’ll ever dance again. The two reconnect over a mishap with a shopping cart (not either’s finest moment). But when the two end up spending time together, while Aidan is doing carpentry work in her home, sparks start to fly. But will Aidan take a chance on letting someone in and he and Walt both getting hurt again? What will be the outcome for Kenzie: will she ever dance again and if so will she want to give up her dreams in NYC?

This is a wonderfully written heartfelt romance that will have you smiling and rooting for a happy ending. OH and trust me you’ll fall in love with little Walt, at least I sure did. Grab this one up asap, you won’t regret it.

We're back in Trinity Falls and this time it's Kenzie and Aidan's turn to find HEA.

Kenzie came home after a devastating injury and is eager to recover so she can go back to ballet. Aiden came home to regroup after his marriage ended and he's left to take care of his adorable son Walt. With their first encounter neither anticipated what they would mean to each other very shortly in the story. Kenzie has lived and breathed romance her whole life. Being a ballerina is all she knows but being home and spending time with Aiden and his son, shows her that there is more out there than dancing. But she wants HEA like she dances to them, but it takes more than her will to get to that point and she's hoping Aiden is going to be the man to give it to her.

Aiden has his heart surrounded by high walls and getting through them will be impossible. But with his helping Kenzie and seeing her interaction with his son, those walls soon start to crumble. But trusting again is an issue and he'll have to decide if he can put all on the line and hope she feels the same or will she return to the world of dance without a second glance.

This couple had ups and downs but you can’t help but root for them to reach the HEA because they’ve been through a lot and are more than deserving of it.
