Carter
I’ve always chased the temporary high that comes with sex, and lived by three simple rules: no feelings, no relationships, and definitely no love . . . until Griffin Nash. I’d never been with a man until he came into my life and wrecked everything I thought I knew about myself. As if that wasn’t enough to come to terms with, he’s keeping secrets that make me question his true intentions, but I’m so addicted to everything he makes me feel, I can’t stop, no matter how hard I try to fight it.

Finn
From the moment I saw Carter Hayes, I knew he would be mine. If only things could be so simple. His walls are high and heavily guarded. He doesn’t trust easily, has never been in a relationship, and has never been with a man. As if my task wasn’t difficult enough, family secrets are forcing me to choose between the career I love and the man I can’t live without. I want to be the man to break down his walls and show him how beautiful it can be to be loved. But at what cost?

This was my first book in the series, and honestly? I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it and how much I loved Jenn’s writing style.

The beginning felt a little clunky at first, but I have a feeling that’s only because I jumped in without reading the previous books. For returning readers, that probably wouldn’t be an issue. What really stood out for me was Carter’s coming out story. I’ve read a lot of queer awakening narratives, and it was so refreshing to read one where the character is confident, sex-positive, and sure of his family’s love. He doesn’t spiral into a full identity crisis and while I know that’s not the reality for many people, it’s the kind of hopeful version that feels good to hold onto.

Finn’s backstory hit me right in the feels. His family dynamics? Oof. I definitely got teary more than once.

As someone who lives for strong friendship dynamics, I absolutely adored the bond between Finn and Trey, and Carter’s relationship with his siblings. Those friendships added a whole layer of warmth and depth to the story and honestly made it feel that little bit more special.

There were a few side character interactions that had me thinking, okay, clearly I’ve missed something here, so I’m keen to go back and read the earlier books now. It didn’t ruin the experience at all, but it definitely made me curious.

Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this one even if, like me, you’re diving in without any context. It stands on its own just fine, and now I’m officially invested.

Thanks to the Smuthood for the ARC copy.

Fave Quotes

“Please don’t freak out. I can’t—I can’t handle it if you freak out right now,” I whisper, my words barely audible. “I won’t,” he whispers back, his lips brushing against mine. “Thank you.” “I’ve never been thanked after sex before.” “You know what I mean. I needed an outlet and you didn’t hesitate to give it to me. This . . . ugh. This is different, Finn. I don’t want you to think I just used you. I wanted this. Wanted you. Thank you for giving yourself to me like this.” His words find their home deep within my heart, and I didn’t realize how badly I needed to hear them. I let myself relax in his arms, hoping like hell he means it.

“What was that thing you did the night after the beach?” “What thing?” I play innocent, even though I know exactly what he’s referring to. It was hot as fuck and something I’ve always wanted to try. “By the stairs, when you put our dicks together and jerked us off like a twisted mix of a Chinese finger trap and a water wiggler.”

“The hard shit is all over,” he whispers. “Now we get to live.”

I've read a handful of MM romances, and they’ve all been such hits for me, and this one is no exception! When Jenn announced that Carter's book would be an MM romance, I was both shocked and super excited. I just knew it would be great, and I was right! If you're familiar with the Aspen Ridge series, you already know that Carter is our charming casanova. He’s not one for serious relationships, preferring one-night stands and casual hookups—and he doesn’t hide it! Everyone sees him as the fun-loving jokester, the life of the party. But beneath that carefree exterior, he grapples with some insecurities. He keeps those feelings hidden from his family, showing only his joyful side. That is until he meets Finn.

Finn is a travel blogger who works at his dad’s company and is an only child from a wealthy family. He has an abusive father who constantly makes him feel like he’s not good enough. When he stumbles into the charming small town and the Hayes distillery, he can't wait to write about it. That's when he meets Carter at a club he visits often, and their chemistry is undeniable!

While Finn knows he’s gay, Carter has only been with women before. This new attraction to Finn confuses him, but it’s more than just physical—it’s a deep connection. Carter is scared, feeling things for the first time, and he tries to flee from those emotions. I loved those vulnerable moments when he finally opened up to Finn, letting down his walls. Finn’s honesty about his feelings right from the start and his patience with Carter were so admirable. I admired Finn’s bravery when he stood up to his dad, and it was heartwarming to see Carter supporting him through it all.

And I can’t forget to mention my favorite scenes with the siblings! The Hayes family is such a warm, supportive bunch—they might be a bit chaotic and loud, but they always have each other's backs. I loved seeing how they welcomed Finn into their circle with open arms. While I’m a bit sad that the next book will be the last in the series, I’m also looking forward to reading about Reid and Kinsley's story!

BETA READ - ARC REREAD

CARTER MFIN HAYES. Casanova. The playboy. The one that could never be tied down. When they fall- they fall hard, these Hayes boys.

Carter is well known throughout Aspen Ridge as the unattainable bachelor. He spends his time with randoms at an elusive club the next town over, Temptations. That is, until one night he meets the most unexpected parter who turns his world upside down. Finn Nash has been under his father’s thumb his whole life trying to forward his career while still maintaining his individuality and his spark for life. From the second he sees Carter’s face he knows his world has been irrevocably changed. As Carter finds out who his mysterious stranger was, tension flare and Finn realizes he might be up against a much harder battle than he thought to tame this playboy.

These two were absolute magic. Finn swoops in and not only forces Carter to face his demons but in turn, receives the push and encouragement he needed to face his own. Carter’s journey isn’t an easy one, but watching him come out of his shell and embrace who he truly is was a story that I will honestly never forget. In the spiciest book of the Aspen Ridge series yet, the chemistry between these two was absolutely electric and I literally never wanted this story to end.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t get enough of Jenn’s writing, stories, and characters. Aspen Ridge has been one of my most favorite rides that I never want to get off. Thank you so much to Jenn for allowing me to be a part of your journey, from BETA to ARC I’m proud of these two and how much hard work you put into them.✨

I loved this book! Carter totally took me by surprise after watching him be such a playboy throughout the series, seeing him fall for a man was such a beautiful twist. His relationship with Finn was everything!! It was raw, vulnerable, and so beautiful. Finn is an absolute angel. My heart ached for him and the pain he carried from his strained relationship with his father, but watching him find comfort, love, and a true sense of home with Carter in Aspen Ridge was just so heartwarming.

This might be my favorite book in the series so far. I’m beyond excited to see how Kinsey & Reid’s story wraps everything up 🤍

Thank you so much Jenn Plummer for this ARC!

Wow! This was my first MM book and I have to say that Jenn Plummer has set the bar very high for future MM reads.

Carter and Finn are soulmates. I loved their story. This booked Wrecked Me in the most delicious way. I love the Hayes family and all of their drama and dynamics. I also loved their acceptance of Carter and Finn’s relationship. Finn’s dad sucked ass.

Thank you Jenn Plummer and The Smuthood for the opportunity to read an advanced copy.

Note: Jenn Plummer is an “auto buy” author for me. I’ve purchased and read every book in the Aspen Ridge series to date. I’ve also preordered all of her available future releases, to include Wreck Me.

I HAVE BEEN WRECKED BY MY FIRST MM ROMANCE EVER 😭😭😭 Wow, such an emotional journey and an incredible character growth for both Finn and Carter 🥹💙 I love them so much!!

I went into this MM romance with an open mind and no expectation as I’ve never read this genre before and I think this was the perfect cherry popper 🥹 The love, the passion and the emotional whirlwind that both Finn and Carter journey through to understand their feelings and their emotions was so well done and enjoyable to read. There were so many moments I just wanted to hug both Carter and Finn especially during their own respective difficult moments and just tell them “you’re not alone I love you!” 💙

Now the SPICE WAS SPICING OMG. I was hesitant but again open minded to what spice may look like with this genre and GOSH IT WAS SO FKN HOT 🥵🔥 their chemistry and banter was off the charts and the way that that sexual tension transitioned from hate/confusion to love was so beautiful! 💙

I loved being back in Aspen Ridge, I love the Hayes Family soooooo much! Huge shout out to the best parents Craig and Amy Hayes! 🥹 Jenn nailed it with this one once again and I’m so happy this was my first ever MM romance! The MM journey does not end here I love it! 💙

Always in awe of Jenn and her writing & this book was no different.

We’ve known Carter as the reformed playboy throughout this series & watching him not only find himself, but find the love that he so desperately craved, but didn’t think he deserved, was so beautiful.

Carter & Finn will always hold a special place in my heart.

Wreck Me
By Jenn Plummer

“I’ve never had anyone read me so transparently, and his observations are spot on. With one touch from this stranger, he just confused the hell out of me, but he’s right, my body is on board with everything he is offering. I’ve had great sexual experiences before, incredible even. But that? That was something entirely different. He affected me on a molecular level. Rewired my brain chemistry at its core.”

“There’s no way he doesn’t feel this between us. I recognized it from the first moment I laid eyes on him at Temptations. He’s different. We’re different. He’s straight-up admitted to never doing anything like this before, so he may not even recognize this for what it is.”

“I love you, Finn. F***, baby. I love you too.”
“You love me?”
“Yeah, baby. I love you. You came into my life and wrecked everything I thought I knew and wanted. But you showed me everything I’ve been missing; you’ve shown me who I really am and what I want. I’m leaning in, baby. I’m all in.”

Carter and Finn’s story is my first MMC read, and it did not disappoint. I loved how much growth both Carter and Finn’s characters made throughout the book. Not shying away from what they want, and not taking crap anymore from anyone. Finn knew what he wanted and went for it with Carter, and waited until Carter decided what he wanted also. I love seeing the Hayes family growing and the siblings side conversations are always great! This book definitely sets us up to see Kinsley grab her freedom by the reigns and I’m excited for whats next!

Oh our playboy Carter 🥹 I love him so much!!! What an incredibly steamy & emotional bi awakening.

💙 Bi awakening
💙 Forbidden
💙 Insta - lust
💙 Forced proximity
💙 MMC wears glasses
💙 Family secrets

Carter & Finn are so special. They helped each other explore, heal and find new pieces of themselves in each other. Their relationship was so sweet but they also held each other accountable and called each other to the carpet which I really appreciated and thought made for a strong foundation.

The bi awakening aspect was amazing. I loved getting to see Carter’s inner dialogue during this time and the realistic questions and thoughts he had floating around this deeply personal life change.

The spice was incredible. The scenes were frequent and they really added to the couple’s emotional connection and built onto Carter’s journey of exploration. The mouths on both of these men 🥵.

If you are new to MM romance, I think this is a great one to start with!

Once again we got amazing cameos from our favorite Hayes family members and I just loved getting more updates on our favorite Aspen Ridge couples. The way I am DYING for Complete Me!!! This is the couple we’ve all been waiting for 🎉

⚠️ check TW before diving in! I will be wishing Finn’s dad explosive diarrhea until the day I croak, just saying.

Thank you so much to Jenn Plummer and her team for the arc of Wreck Me.

BETA/ARC REVIEW: 4.5 ⭐️ Carter + Finn made me feel so many emotions. They went on such a unique relationship journey in the midst of Carter’s bi-awakening journey. They, more than anyone, fought for + deserved their HEA. Lucky for us, Jenn wrote a great MM story with such care + depth.

Carter comes from the huge Hayes family that we’ve come to know and love, but he’s never really felt like he belonged or had a role to play with being the youngest of the four alpha brothers. Finn comes from an only child home with parents who only care about money + appearances and has never felt loved or good enough in their eyes.

When these two get together, in chapter 1 no less, all bets are off. Their chemistry + connection was visceral. Getting to see them both break down the tough exterior walls they’d built was everything. And although these two were hot AF, they really had those deep conversations you need to have with a partner, and I love how they came to be the others safe place + home. Wreck Me releases on 6.23.2025.

4.25⭐️ 4.5🌶️ Carter + Finn

MM romances are not my typical genre and I’ve only read a couple by Casey McQuiston so I went in with no idea to expect. This takes the top spot for spiciest MM romance I’ve ever read 🥵

I thought this was the perfect story for Carter and I really felt the tension and passion between the two MCs. These two are also in the top spot for my favorite couple in the Aspen Ridge series. There is just something so likable and lovable about these two.

All that to say I’m hearing some good things about Reid in the final book of this series and excited to see whether Carter + Finn will get pulled from their spot 👀

Jenn is truly a talented writer. Thank you for this ARC!

Wreck Me by Jenn Plummer eARC Review 💙

I have a new favorite book in the Aspen Ridge series. I have been so curious about Carter from the very beginning of this series and now I know it’s because he was meant to be my absolute favorite sibling. Like truly, I love him so much.

This is my first true MM romance, so I was definitely a little nervous going into this one. This book is emotional, beautiful and it wrecked me in the best way. I am surprised at how much I loved this story. Carter and Finn literally stole my heart.

Watching Carter lean in to his sexuality and become the person that he has kept hidden from everyone was so special. The chemistry between Carter and Finn is insane. The way that the two of them are each other’s calm during a storm is seriously the sweetest thing ever and I’m not sure I will ever be over it.

What to expect:
Forbidden romance
Bi-awakening
Insta lust
Forced proximity
Family secrets

Well the title is accurate......this book did indeed wreck me, albeit in the best way possible.

Carter and Finn meet in a very unconventional way.....at a schmex club when Finn decides to join in on some fun Carter is having with another woman. Carter, a self professed playboy, is confused by whats going on but enjoys it nonetheless. Until he gets to work and discovers that his mystery partner from the other night is the journalist who has been trying for months to get in touch with him to write an article about his family's business. Carter is immediately on the defensive, as he's the youngest boy and never feels like he fits in, he feels that this article is somehow to blackmail him and bring shame to his family. But Finn just wants to get to know Carter, yes he may still want to write the article but he's immediately enamored with Carter.

While Carter has a strong loving family dynamic, Finn has an overbearing father who constantly puts him down and belittles him. Finn is just trying to find his footing and make a name for himself, a name separate and apart from his father. Finn is now avoiding Carter's emails (which is driving Carter insane) and trying to navigate how to handle the situation, while Carter tries to wrestle with these newfound feelings he's experiencing.

When Finn discusses his intent to write an article not just on Carter's family's business but their quiet little town, his father flips out and Finn is immediately on high alert and suspicious.

While Finn knows his sexuality, Carter is "very straight" and doesn't quite understand why his body reacts to Finn the way it does. When the two keep "meeting" (aka looking for each other) at the club, Finn convinces Carter to go away with him for a weekend (ok well Carter's brothers convince him). Carter, while attracted to Finn is still very hesitant with his intentions as well as his own feelings towards Finn. While the two enjoy each others company, Carter's flip flopping mood causes small conflicts along the way. The two are finally in a groove, until Lexi Fairchild (Finn's dads attorneys daughter) shows up in his bed while they're away and throws everything for a loop and ultimately ruining the happy bubble Carter and Finn have been hiding in over the weekend.

As the days go on, Finn gains the courage to stand up to his dad, only to find Lexi being bent over his dad's desk when he confronts him (obviously making the situation much easier) and Carter wrestles with his feelings and discovers that he, for once in his life, that he actually loves and cares for someone. Worried about what his family thinks, he gathers everyone together in the office to share the news....surprisingly to Carter, they all just shrug it off.

Finn and Carter decide that this is it and they're going to give this a real shot after finally completely opening up to one another.

I absolutely LOVE a bi-awakening story where EVERYONE is supportive of the persons journey and Jenn did NOT disappoint! Not just Carter's family but Finn letting Carter ease into things on his own and not forcing him to open up and dive in. Also, this was my first Jenn Plummer book and I definitely went and got the rest of the series because I need EVERYONES story lol.

Thank you Jenn Plummer and the Smuthood for an opportunity to review this in exchange for my honest opinion.

Wreck Me by Jenn Plummer starts off with a bang and really doesn’t quit! An unplanned threesome in a sex club - need I say more?! 🙂

How cute is this cover?! It might be my favorite illustrated one yet! Wreck Me is book 4 in the Aspen Ridge Series, which follows the Hayes siblings. It is an interconnected standalone - the author does warn that it contains heavy spoilers for book 1 but you can definitely read it without reading the others (I didn’t, yet.)

Finn and Carter were everything. They broke my heart at times, both of them struggling through personal issues. But they also made me swoon and get a bit hot and bothered.

One of the things I loved most was that Carter really didn’t fight his discovery of being bi-sexual. I mean he’s slept with dozens of women so he questions it a bit but he didn’t get all weird or try to deny it much. Likely it was the fact that he and Finn connected on a whole different level almost from the start. What he did try to deny were his deep feelings, but never that he enjoyed being with Finn.

I wanted to wrap Finn in the biggest hug ever! I’ve read a few shitty parents lately and Finn’s dad is right up there. Seeing Finn grow throughout the book and come out on top made my heart so dang happy.

The family element is very strong throughout the book. The contrast between the men’s families is immense. Carter’s family, although a bit crazy at times, was the best! Everyone deserves the unconditional love they give. The 5 siblings, their nicknames, their group chat, were all great. But the way they would drop everything to support one another was awesome.

The spice was certainly spicing! From that first scene all the way to the final chapter, we see the passion these two have for each other. But even better, we see the immense care and love they have. Two men who deserve all the love in the world and found it with each other.

I absolutely loved this beautiful story . It was so emotional , heartfelt and beautiful . I couldn’t get enough of it.

Carter - MMC - Casanova , known for his sexual appetite. .. is at a schmex club doing his thing with a woman when he’s approached by a man who only had interest for him . Never exploring ever with a male , he finds himself feeling things he’s never felt before .

Finn - MMC - Writer for his father’s company is forbidden to go anywhere near Aspen Ridge . Finn eager to know more about Carter decided to go to Temptations to see what he’s all about .

I absolutely loved how Carter went from seeming heartless to watching Finn make him weak at the knees . Carter lived his life by not becoming attached and treating schmex as nothing other than gratification . I loved watching his growth throughout the book . It was beautiful . His family is the family every child wishes to have in life , and I cackled at some of the lines that came from their mouths .

Finn never had such luxury with his family , he had a verbally abusive father and a mother who just didn’t give a damn . My heart broke hearing his story but fully healed throughout the end .

If you love queer romance , mm with enemies to lovers , bisexual awakening , forced proximity and a story which will have you all in your feels ? Please read this !

Carter, a well-known, playboy who has been with just about every girl this side of the PNW, is tasked with getting a writer who's been giving him the run around for months, to write an article about the distillery. When he has an impromptu threesome at Temptations with the woman he is with and a mystery man who walks in to join them. Carter finds himself "enjoying" the touch of this mystery man. When Carter finds out who he is..well...that's when things get interesting.

Finn is a writer for Northwest Explorer, the most notorious magazine in the PNW. The magazine just so happens to be owned by his family and his Father is at the helm. His very verbally abusive father. Finn is the only child. The constant disappointment to his father. He seems to not be able to do anything right in his eyes. He is forbidden to step foot into Aspen Ridge and to associate with the Hayes family. So when he plans to do an article for the town and Distillery, his father goes crazy but Finn still can't let it go. Once he laid eyes on Carter on the distillery website, he was obsessed. Once he tasted that whiskey, he wanted to know more. He NEEDS to write this article somehow. So when he finds Carter at Temptations he "comes" up with a way to get Carter and his article...😉

I am so happy to be finally writing this.
I anticipated Carter's story and when his opposite main character was revealed, I'm pretty sure we all were so shocked and excited! I got my ARC on Friday, started it, and finished it Saturday night. I could NOT stop reading it. I fell in love with Carter and Finn. Their story was full of spice, a little emotion, and angst. I laughed, I cried. I did all the things. I felt all the feelings. I also may have cried during the Kinsey and Hayes brothers "showdown" about her moving.

I thought this book was great! Definitely worth the hype that we all gave it! 10/10 recommend.

Honestly, for this having the insta-love trope, and being the first book I’ve read for this author, I can say that I was pleasantly surprised! This author did the insta-love trope so well that I can’t even complain.

I absolutely LOVE how the author wrote a character who embraced their sexuality instead of going into a downward spiral. I haven’t read that yet so it was a nice change to the story. The amount of support and love and overall relationship that Carter has with his siblings is so wholesome! It honestly makes me want to read this series from the beginning because they were all enjoyable in their own ways!

Finn. Ugh poor, sweet hearted Finn. Getting away from your abuser is NEVER easy- the battle he went through (with the help of Carter) to get away from his abusive father and finally be free of him was EVERYTHING. I wish I could beat the living daylights out of that man (his dad). I really enjoyed how both Carter and Finn helped each other grow (both individually and as a couple).

This was a really enjoyable read and has definitely sparked my interest to read the series from the beginning. Thank you for the opportunity to ARC read this!

Excuse me, Ms. Jenn Plummer? Please keep writing queer small town romances!

This book was soooo cute! The fourth book in the Aspen Ridge series, but the first book I’ve read by Plummer and I didn’t feel lost. In fact, I wanted to go back and read the first three because these brothers are RIDICULOUS and I want to know more about the women they convinced to be their partners. Plus a fifth book about the little sister is on the way, and I have a feeling her brothers are going to make it MESSY.

“Wreck Me” is heavy on the miscommunication trope, but Plummer puts a little twist on it that I really like. Which is saying something, because I HATE the miscommunication trope.

Thank you to Jenn Plummer and The Smuthood for the opportunity to read "Wreck Me" and share my opinions!

PLEASE CHECK THE TRIGGERS. As someone who has a narcissistic parent, the verbal and emotional abuse hit a little closer to home than I would have liked, but it isn’t a superfluous addition. Plumber is thoughtful with where it is added and how it contributes to the story overall.

This was my first read from this author and while jumping into this world in book 4 was a little overwhelming meeting all the characters at once, I’m glad I started here.

Finn and Carter are absolutely ridiculous in that if they’d just had a full conversation at the start they could have worked through some of their issues, but honestly it was nice seeing a couple have to work through things and end up realizing miscommunication was their biggest issue.

Carter is figuring himself out now that he realizes he’s not been fully living his truth when it comes to his sexuality and Finn is learning who he is without letting his dad’s iron thing hold him back anymore.

The attraction between them was instant and though we had some bumps along the way, the chemistry and spice was delicious.

Thank you to the smuthood for giving me the chance to check out the arc!

WOW! This was a first for me from this author and let me tell you, it did not disappoint at all!!! This was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!!! I finished this in 24 hours because I couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with Finn and Carter from the very beginning of the book. This was steamy, emotional, funny, comforting and just all around an amazing read that I wish I could experience reading again for the first time!! Will definitely be going back to read the book before this one in the series!

Not 5, not 6, 10 fucking stars!

Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is why I read! The emotions this book brought me to, the feelings, gasps, tears…Everything they felt, I felt twofold. What a fantastic book.

This romance was self-discovery, growth, opening up, and letting go, mixed with the most toe-curling spice and the sweetest and softest moments of pure love. The way these two were with each other was so beautiful.

Carter couldn't help but open up to Fin from the very beginning, even though he didn't understand why and didn't want to. He decided to hate Fin, but is it hate if you can't stop thinking about him? Is it hate if you relive his hands, his mouth on you, every waking hour? Is it hate if all you can think about is knowing more, touching more, and kissing more of that person? Carter, if that's your hate, please come here and hate me too! Carter had such character growth from page 1 to the end it was magnificent. He was lost, adrift in life, never content with who and what he was doing, until Fin sparked a flame that consumed every barrier and wall, leaving Carter the option to have the greatest thing ever, a true love like no other, or keep safe, alone and lonely. Spoiler alert, not really, he chose right.

My baby Fin, I would round house kick that mf for you if I could. This man suffered all his life, all of it, and now that he had one thing he wanted for himself, he was threatened to choose. Well, proud to report Fin is a big boy who gets all he wants because I would riot if it were different. Fin was down bad from jump, love at first sight...well, obsession at first sight. He would cheat, lie, and steal to get Carter. He was delusional, but can it be called delusion if it ends up happening like he said it would? More like a premonition. Having Carter was the final push Fin needed to push back, to be free of his father and to live a life he was proud of and happy with. And I was proud and happy for my baby.

And the spice? Jenn omfg! Page 240 had me on my knees fr. You should see my face through it all, but it was sublime, perfectly written (in the opinion of a seasoned MM reader, but a straight woman nevertheless) and filled with filth and sweetness. It had depth of feeling, and I could practically feel them saying 'I love you' while simply touching each other.

Jenn, I know I messaged you to tell you how much I loved this book, but I need to say it again. You made my heart clench, gasp, and laugh with these characters, and I hope you are proud of the story you’ve written, because I sure am!

Oh, and the acknowledgements? Yeah, I also teared up…

Thank you, Smuthood and Jen, from the bottom of my heart, for this e-arc!

Quotes:

Goddamn, he sucks me down like he's trying to suck my soul through my cock, like I'm the best fucking thing he's ever put in his mouth.

From the moment I found Carter Hayes' picture on the distillery website, I felt drawn to him, and I couldn't have stayed away if I tried.

But then I touched him, and the entire world shifted.

As if I've spent the last twenty-five years asleep, Griffin brought me to life.

"Fuuck, Finn, fuuuuuck."
Finn.
And just like that, I fall harder.

I want to know his secrets. I want to know what he needs saving from. I want... him.

"I don't expect you to trust me with anything more than your body right now, but believe me when I say that will change. I'll make sure of it."

I've never felt as good as I do with Griffin Nash.

"Relax your throat for me, breathe through your nose. I can't take it easy on you. I need you too much."

His hand is warm in mine, and just like everything else with this man, he's given me something I've never experienced before.

My heart could quite possibly beat out of my chest, so worked up, but so content to feel this with him.

"Oh, that's it, Finn. Look at you falling apart for me,"

"Stay with me?"

Fuck everything else pressing down on me, I just want to be right here right now, enjoying the incredible feeling this man brings me.

"There are plenty of ways for me to worship you, Carter, and it's not a hardship to figure out what you like and what you don't like."

I want to do more to make him smile like that.

"That's it, baby. Fuck, look at you, making a mess like such a good boy."

"You're everything I didn't know I needed,"

I worship his mouth the way he deserves, giving him all of me and taking all of him in return.

"Lover, you've got me. I'm yours. I've been yours since the moment I saw you."

"But you showed me everything I've been missing; you've shown me who I really am and what I want. I'm leaning in, baby. I'm all in."

"I wanted you, any way I could get you. You've always been different. Something snapped into place that night, and I haven't been the same since."

I'm willing to fight for this. Fight for Finn. Fight for me.

"…sleeping away from you after knowing sleep next to you isn't something I'm willing to do for long,"

I didn't know it then, but he took my fucking heart that night for himself and I'll never give it back.

"Look at you taking all of me. This." Thrust. "Ass." Thrust. "Is." Thrust. "Mine."

"You are my home, Finn."

You're it for me. End game. You've wrecked me in the best way, and I can't spend another moment apart.

I feel everything with him. And I sure as shit don't want to keep him hidden.

"I can't say no to you, lover. From the moment I saw you, I was yours."
"Yeah, you are. But I'm yours, too."

"You've stolen my heart, and there's no way I'll ever get it back. I trust you with it."

The second I saw the blurb for this story I knew I was going to need it. Wreck me checked every single box I had. I loved the confidence Carter had in his sexuality and never felt doubtful or shameful like others are often made to feel. I absolutely adore a male main character whose feelings never waiver the second they are established and with this story I didn’t just get one. I got two! I did not read this series in order because I was impulsively jumping into the vibes or Wreck me. But I highly recommend reading in order. It will definitely flow better and help relate to characters more. I will instantly be going back and reading the first 3 books in this series!

Finn & Carter will stay with me for a while. They were so great together and were exactly what each other needed.

This is part of a series, but I wasn’t lost at all. I am very curious about Carter’s brothers and their books now, so I know I’ll be going back and binging the entire series at some point!

ARC review:

I enjoyed this one! Went in blind only knowing that it was MM. I previously read Daddy Issues, which was my brief intro to Aspen Ridge. I loved Carter and Finn! Their chemistry and instant attraction was undeniable and the spice hit early and was spicing 🥵🫠. The writing at times felt a bit repetitive and long-winded and as much as I enjoy smut there seemed to be some scenes that felt unnecessary. This can definitely be read as a stand-alone but I think would’ve hit harder had I already been familiar with Carter’s family. Will definitely go back and read books 1-3!

Loving him is the easiest thing I’ve ever done; it’s everything else that is complicated and messy.

This book. THIS FCKN BOOK. I was hooked from the very beginning. I was eating up everything that Carter and Finn was serving me. Like cmon on bi-awakening, banter, and the sexiest spice of all time? Sign me tf up!

Carter and his play boy ways was no match Finn Nash, his heart didn't even see him coming. It was serving and I was taking it all in.

Ten out of freaking ten. I'm a sucker for a good mm romance and this one surely delivered!

I didn’t know it then, but he took my fucking heart that night for himself and I’ll never give it back.

This book was funny, sweet, and so spicy. I loved every single minute of this book and I am so grateful that I signed up to arc read this one because it was mind blowing and so so amazing! 😍

Thank you to the author Jenn Plummer and The Smut Hood PR for a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review!

I’ve never been looked at like Finn is looking at me right now. Like he would burn the world down just to make me feel better.

Wreck Me was a cute quick read that I couldn’t put down. It was sexy and I really enjoyed the plot. I did think it got a bit repetitive at some points during the story and I wish it had something more at some parts but that’s probably me nitpicking.

I’d say that you probably should read the other books in the series before reading this, because I didn’t and I had a hard time remembering who’s dating who 😂

Overall it was a good book with some fun and spicy elements to it.
