A very charming retelling of the movie if a little simplistic.

Nice art work and colouring. I like how the goblins, when waiting for sarah to make her wish, were sneaking around outside of the artboxes.

A charming, quick little read and a great companion to the film. And another addition to my Labyrinth collection!

Labyrinth: Original Motion Picture Adaptation is a reprint of the original three issue comic of Jim Henson’s classic film. The story follows a young girl who must navigate a magical labyrinth in order to rescue her baby brother who’s been kidnapped by the Goblin King. Adapted by Sid Jacobson, the book does a good job at capturing the major story points and fan-favorite scenes. However, John Buscema’s illustrations are rather generic and without the musical numbers it’s not as whimsical and fun. Still, Labyrinth: Original Motion Picture Adaptation is a magical adventure.
