Are there really any good girls of Washington? Actually, are there any good PEOPLE in Washington? Probably but Della Davis and Agent Jones (if that's his real name) are not one of them. In Sherry Silver's "Persuasive Lips", she delivers us an erotic story set in WWII. Della Davis who is a night shift secretary in the White House, has a thing for SS agent Jones, yet she also wants to embark on something dangerous, like a secret mission. Agent Jones has a thing for Della but he only wants her for sex and doesn't really want her to do anything out of the norm of being a woman. Sherry Silver makes the setting of the story accurate by having Della as a woman who wants to do so much more in her life other than being a pencil pusher or a sex object and Jones who wants her to remain a helpless woman. But Sherry Silver still makes Della a hopeless romantic but with a brain and determination.

He sets up an elaborate sting. Will she take the bait or are women the smarter sex?
Not really sure where the story was going at first, which was part of a fake sting that Jones had to get into Della's pants! A very short romance fling of a story. Heavy on the sex then the story-line but a good read overall. Love the cover(this one)!
